DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THESE SCAMMERS. We purchased a car from Cody. A 2002 silver Honda Civic. Within a few days there was issues. We took it to a mechanic that we paid for. Metro Motors had disconnected the cables to the engine warning codes. Metro Motors had removed the radiator overflow cap to hide pressure from the head gasket being blown. There were countless other illegal issues with the car. We have a written report from a certified mechanic that we are happy to share. Even though the paperwork said no warranty, Cody then claimed there was. The car was taken to AAMCO in Independence. Harley at AAMCO verified that the cable had been disconnected and they had to order a special part to reconnect it. The engine was replaced. But guess who supplied the engine to AAMCO ? Yep Cody at Metro Motors did. Granddaughter picked up car today from AAMCO and only made it a few miles down the road and car wouldn't go over 20 miles an hour. So they essentially replaced one crappy engine with another crappy engine. After speaking to Alex at Metro Motors he claims there is a warranty thru a 3rd party ? But yet none of the paperwork says that. I asked if he committed fraud again by charging for this so called warranty but he claims it was free. Alex refused to cooperate by claiming we were being disrespectful. Even though selling us a car that they intentionally and fraudulently did things to so that the car would run for a few days is in my opinion more disrespectful. On the 22 of Nov it will be one month since the car was purchased. We have paid for insurance on the car...can't drive it. Instead we have spent over $400 for Uber rides. Today to pick up the car we spent just over $40 on Uber. And still no car. Alex and Cody refuse to speak to us. Told us to hire an attorney. We shall do that. I will also be filing a complaint with the Kansas Attorney General and the BBB. Don't Go Here! I bought a Honda Accord for 8k. Thought they just seemed legit and it came with a 3 month warranty. First the Ac went out which they fixed it worked for 2 weeks now it doesn't anymore. It died in the freeway. Alternator died had to pay $400 to get it home cause I was in Kansas. Then it starts misfitting all the check engine lights and what not come on. I take it in they hold it for over a week. And say oh it's just catching build up. It would work for a week then do the same thing. This happened 4 times finally I take it to Midas I pay $150 they say I need a new engine and to take it back to where I bought it. Cause they don't do that stuff. Plus I didn't have the money I spend so my money on the car and towing and Uber rides. Finally that tell me to drop it off at Telle in town. I tell them what Midas said they don't listen. But they said it's fixed and perfect my warranty just expired. 2 weeks later. Same problem car barely runs no AC and it misfires. And I'm out of warranty and now lost my job because it relied on me having a working car. To do door to door sales. This place has ruined my life. Out of pure exhaustion, I settled for a white Nissan Altima. It made a weird noise. When I asked about it; he said it was just the way that model sounds and how it was normal. Not even 30,000 miles later the sound is worse! That's when Nissan finally owned up to its transmission problem. (I use to own a Nissan Morano. I gave that vehicle up because a faulty transmission.) They heavily overpriced a GMC Acadia that immediately began having issues. we purchased extra coverage to help with repairs for $3000. Was told as long as it was covered, it would be taken car of. 212 miles later, timing belt broke. the cost of repair was $8000. A 4th page was given to us after saying a max of $3000 was all to be covered. So we basically got our own money back. it still paid interest on that amount. My dad paid all of it for me due to my failing health which he also has himself. They didn't care at all. read more

My fiancé bought a car at this place and has had nothing but problems from the very first week. The heater core is clogged, the drivers side passenger door retains water, the transmission is slipping, he had to replace the radiator, the passenger side headlight housing, the starter, the alternator, the battery, you name it he's had to replace it. He finally took it to metro motors to fix it because he couldn't get it to start they claimed to have put a new battery and starter and wiring in it. Hard to believe that's what they did considering it's been 2 months and the battery will no longer hold a charge. I would give this place zero stars if it would let me. They sold him an absolute piece of s*** when you are paying over $300 a month for a car you have to fix literally every 2 weeks how are you supposed to get out from under it when this company refuses to work with you on it. $7000 ($9000 with interest) for a car that's only worth $1000 cuz it won't stay running. I would recommend just looking elsewhere if your looking for a car unless you want 2+ years of headaches and $5000 out of pocket expenses just to drive the vehicle. read more

First off I understand that I'm paying for a car the way over priced in the first place. But the experience I've had and am still having at this place is insane! I'm paying about $6000 more than what this car is worth and have put about $5000 into it in less than a year. When I'm finally done paying of this pos I'll be about $15000 into a car that's worth about $3000. I didn't take it there to get fixed one time and they charged me $400 plus to add a pigtail to the starter and they also said they change the battery but I just don't believe it because the battery has died on me ever since I've got it back. this is definitely not my first choice of a place to get a car and it's definitely won't be recommending it to anyone, as it sits now I have a car sitting in my driveway that I'm paying on and I have already bought another car which may I say has absolutely no problems and I only paid $800 for it. I will say that I did have a pleasant experience buying my vehicle from Cody at Metro Motors. They seem to be nice people, But I was sold a junk car. I went in with my 2 small children and expressed that I needed something reliable. I put 1200.00 down on a car i had been wanting for a long time and was assured by the staff that it was in the best condition it could be for a used car. The first few weeks went pretty smoothly. Around the start of the second month, the brakes needed to be replaced-OK, normal required maintenance. I was also having to put coolant in it every 2 weeks or so. I was then told when I took it to a trusted shop that they couldn't tell the last time the car had been serviced. Things began to go downhill from here. I discovered when the weather started to get warm that the A/C did not work. I took the car back to Metro and they said it's not covered in the 3 month warranty and the compressor is out. I have had the car lass than 3 months and am now up to about $2800 in needed repairs, including all 4 brake pads, rotors and calipers, a coolant leak, and I just learned, a bent front axel. That does not include the $800-$1200 the A/C will cost. None of this is covered in the warranty. How convenient for them. I understand buying a used car is a gamble, and maybe i was just unlucky. read more
