The layout of the stop is unique like many others with bright lights and wide open space and designs reflecting the immediate area above with chrome beams, pillars, glass and constellation wall art. Lots of lush greenery as you make your way up or down for a return trip. One of the more upkept stations with easy to read maps of connecting services as well as caddy corner to a lot of surface city buses and connecting surfaces. I've been able to enjoy shows and events at the EL Cid, strut on down to Akbar, grab eats at Green Leaves and My Vegan Gold (a super favorite), get a check up at the hospital, hit up the local Vons as well as Bestie's (a plant-based health food and snack store) and even wait in line Vista Theater. Parking in the area is definitely a mission at times, but if you're going out for a day or night of EaHo/East Hollywood/Silver Lake/Los Feliz/Little Armenia excitement and a drink or more is on the to do list then absolutely put you faith in your walk and in your ride via the LA Red Line station of Vermont Avenue & Sunset Blvd

However as this is the closest station I aim to either go here or to Los Angeles. Usually I get a ride or uber or take access services home. However I tried to catch the bus from here and I think they're all Glendale beeline operated now. This has its ups and downs, like one it's cleaner and more frequent, and the other is getting here past 8pm or late night and there's no service, same for any time on holidays or late night weekends. If you need to take the bus home later than 6pm, I suggest you go through Burbank as metro always operates. The ambience is clean sometimes it may be a little loud especially w the trains coming but it's safer than having to be at Los Angeles at midnight. If I could change one thing about this station I'd say have buses run laters like the Metrolink and Amtrak trains do. Even have a line run a holiday schedule so those who need the bus don't gotta walk a few blocks to catch the metro (if it even runs where you need to go). My opinion is it is cleaner but transit equity is limited here it's needs more access to public transit.

They have a free, big parking lot, machines work ok, restrooms are clean enough, they could have more people working here, but that's something I could say about most of them. Nice seating area, outdoor stop, very pretty, typical old LA amazing buildings. Some scenes for movies were shot here, which isn't surprising. Great option for catching the train!

This is the third time I've decided to not use the Burbank Bus in the past 3yrs. Below is a…read moredetailed list of what's been done to me in the past year: Driver L: I asked for the ramp & I was refused. Instead, she forced me to stretch my legs and strain myself to get on the bus. Then she said see I knew you could do it. I have severe mobility issues, a history of falling, and an access disable bus card. It doesn't matter to them. On several occasions this driver has watched me get up, once I do, the driver hits the brakes and I get slammed into the pole/handhold. Finally, 99% of the time this driver pulls up too far from the curb, loading & unloading. All drivers cater to the people taking the train in to Burbank then bussing it to their job. The drivers wait for said working class until 5 minutes passed takeoff time. But they won't wait for me. On several occasions they have left me even though I wave my hand for them to wait. Additionally, all but 1 driver pretend not to see me then at the last minute pull over, same for dropping me off, going past my stop. All of them ask me where I'm going but no one else. They also don't wait for me to sit down. And when I board the working class or non-disabled sit in the priority handicap seats; not offering me a seat & the driver says nothing either. Also, I've been asked to get off the back which is street level not curb level so their working class can load in the front. There are 2 passengers that continually harass me once I load by rubbing & touching themselves. Driver L told me last week that their passengers can do whatever they want to me as long as they say nothing; but one passenger did called me a terrorist. Driver J: has yelled at me, passed me by, stop 2 feet from the curb loading & unloading but not to anyone else. He refuses to let me sit after I tap my card. Driver C & L stop the bus at my stop then as soon as I stand, grab my bags, & start to walk up the aisle they put the bus in motion almost causing me to fall. I have called & called the switchboard but nothing happens but fallout. Why am I treated this way? I don't work, I'm retired I am homeless I am a senior All of the above is discrimation [reported] as they choose who they're nice, too!!

Welcome to East Hollywood-ish courtesy the LA Metro Redline station of Hollywood and Western... The hustle and bustle of the intersection down into this subway haven is constantly busy, but the station itself is pretty spacious and laid back for the most part. A lot of urban flare and mixes of cultures, cuisines, and characters nearby. The TAP terminals for either purchasing or reloading your TAP card are almost always fully functional and well-lit. The Metro workers are always on-site and close by unlike a few miscellaneous stops you might hit I feel like they are easy to flag down or spot if you have any questions or issues here. Like most of the LA Redline stations, there is quite a bit of art, decorum, and appeal to the eyes and here you get a slice of nostalgia above the platform level with the old train replicas coming out of the walls, some multicolored checkered tiles, helpful visual ads and some unique seating on the platform level. It's a station with history, but also relevance.

You can exit or enter from a few points along Vermont Avenue & Santa Monica Blvd, just across from the ARCO ampm which neighbors The Vermont Hollywood.... If you go to Willowbrook & Vermont, next to LALC: Los Angeles City College you can board here as well. The platforms and inside the station are kept better than some stops, though the top half/street level varies. Elevators, stairs and escalators... Though the escalator up after I exited and ran into some friends was down so... We got out leg day in! Q Tip: No parking lot for this station, unfortunately, like a lot of stations for the B (Red) Line... I would place it in the middle in terms of safety and I would give it higher points for being in a decent location, helpful to use.

Uber car seat didn't seem to be a reliable option and ride hailing services required a super far transfer to another pickup location. The bus was also triple the time to our destination near the cruise port. Go Ride was very clear about their pricing and they were detailed when answering a follow up question I had about pickup time which was fortunate as our flight ended up getting in 30 mins earlier than scheduled. Our driver, Oscar, arrived early to pick us up - I received an iMessage from him before landing using my airline's in-flight wifi - I was able to send him updates as we got off the plane and got our bags. He pulled up within 5 mins of my last message when we had our bags conveniently right outside the terminal. It was so easy I didn't even need to rent the $8 USD luggage cart and my kids didn't have enough time to complain about any wait. Oscar was really helpful with our bags and had all the car seats already installed correctly! All seats were facing the correct direction, solid, tight and the only adjustment needed was for the actual seat belts themselves to secure the kids. Oscar offered us bottles of water and we were off to the hotel. On the way we had a nice chat and he was totally OK with the youngest child crying for a bit while navigating LA's notorious traffic (he said it was light but to me it was busy). Drop off at the hotel was smooth and we tipped in cash for great service - he impressed us! Definitely would recommend to anyone especially families looking for a smooth experience getting anywhere from LAX airport. I will be using them again for future travel. Pricing: reasonable and competitive for door to door private car service with car seats. Communication: from booking to actual day of it was the right amount of detail Quality: car and car seats were super clean Safety: our driver Oscar was safe while navigating LA's freeway and street traffic.
