I passed by it on my way to Santa Monica but never used it till recently when we had a friend visiting who was lodging in the area. He used this stop a lot. This is the Santa Monica line, we changed at 7th and Metro to get on it. It is above the ground, which is nice. The actual station is outdoors which is nice. Not the best views or layout, they could use more benches, more signs and more machines. But glad it's there. If you need to get to the area, it beats driving!

It's a small transfer station to catch the Big Blue Bus R12 towards Westwood and the UCLA campus. The station looks like any surface station, you can use your TAP card and pay your fare at the scanning machine. Then you walk onto the platform and wait for your train. The E Train runs often, with a train coming through about every 10-15 minutes during daytime hours. The estimate to get to and from this station after a transfer from L.A. Union Station is about 1 hour. To get to the Big Blue Bus bus stop, just walk past the tracks, cross the street at the light, and you can catch the bus there. A conveinent station for desinations to Westwood.

Wilshire Transportation popped up with tons of 5 star reviews which is very rare to find. I quickly gave them a call and spoke with Endalk who answered my questions about the service. They offered a flat rate of $75 for a town car plus a 20% gratuity (if you want an SUV, it's a $90 flat rate). Go to their website to make a reservation. Within 30 minutes, you will receive an e-mail confirming your order. Be sure to fill out the credit card authorization form and fax it in prior to the service. Otherwise, you can also pay using cash if you'd like. My boss was a little late getting to the car on the morning of, and instead of charging double (which is what they normally do), Endalk only charged us $20 as they were going to be out-of-pocket for the additional amount of time the driver was waiting at the property. It can be a tad difficult to get a hold of Endalk at times when he may be driving a customer, but just keep calling and someone is sure to answer. Every time I spoke with him on the phone, he was super helpful and was able to answer all my questions. I highly recommend Wilshire Transportation, their rates are unbeatable and their service is professional and fab!
