Our driver, George was a joy. He was professional and thoughtful. He arrived 10 minutes early to pick me and my kids up to take us to LAX. Talk was light, and he gave us tips for our arrival city. He also picked us up 2 weeks later at the airport. He is a charming, lovely man. He also knew where to hide out in order to get to us in a busy airport so we didn't have to wait after flying all day from Europe. The car was clean, water was in the car, and music type and levels were appropriate. On the way back, he offered to stop so we could pick up food since our fridge was bare while on vacation. I ordered a pickup at LAX with a meet and greet for my husband and I. I was very clear when I placed the order that we absolutely had to have the driver handle our luggage from removing it from the carousel to delivering it inside the house. And the charge for meet and greet service was reflected in the invoice sent that morning prior to our pickup. No driver showed up in the airport to help with the luggage. Fortunately, the people my husband and I had to push our wheelchairs retrieved our bags and moved us out to the curbside. The driver said he never received the meet and greet instructions from the car service. After about 20 minutes of waiting at the curb, we were picked up. I called LA Private Car Service to complain. They kept me waiting on an extensive hold. When finally somebody answered, their reaction to my complaint was "uh huh". And when I said I couldn't believe they weren't even apologizing to me they said,"Why would I? I don't even know if you possibly missed the driver in the terminal." I asked to speak to a manager/supervisor/owner and was told none was available. They said someone would call me the next day. it has been four days. No call. No apology. They did refund the money for the meet and greet. But this was a time consuming and infuriating mistake on their part. Absolutely no class! Clearly unreliable and I will never use their services again. read more

When I arrived at LAX at 11:30pm, there was no driver. I called LA Private Car Service and customer service could not be bothered and just said "sorry". There were no other drivers available.
