Dr. Min advocated for the procedure internationally. His efforts were responsible for its approval by the FDA and for reimbursement coverage by Medicare and by private insurers. EVLT is widely accepted by patients and physicians worldwide and has replaced more invasive surgical procedures to treat the saphenous vein. Drs. Khilnani, Winokur and Amatangelo have continued Dr. Min's tradition of exceptional vein care. Dr. Khilnani is frequently invited as a speaker at national and international conferences and maintains leadership roles in the American College of Phlebology. Dr. Winokur is also involved in advancing venous care with the publication of several articles and presentations at national meetings. Dr. Amatangelo is joining us from the University of Michigan Vein Centers where she was a Clinical Lecturer in Vascular Surgery and Co-Director from 2007 to 2017.

From the owner: Receive the finest in varicose and spider vein treatment at Laser & Varicose Vein Treatment Center…read morein Midland Beach of Staten Island and Borough Park of Brooklyn, New York. Sushilkumar Samant, MD, FACS, FICS, a board-certified general surgeon specializing in vascular surgery, and the center's founder, vascular and general surgeon Inam Haq, MD, FACS, provide men and women with safe and highly effective solutions for the removal of these unsightly and possibly painful veins. Both doctors want to help patients regain their well-being and comfort with legs that look and feel healthy. The ultramodern practice uses the FDA-cleared Dornier D940 laser system, which offers a revolutionary treatment for varicose veins that are minimally invasive, yet highly effective and safe. Until recently, varicose vein removal required stripping of the veins, which required a hospital stay, painful recovery, and possible scarring. The laser treatments are performed on an outpatient basis, so you go home the same day. Plus, laser vein removal means a faster, pain-free recovery. Patients also benefit from tried-and-true sclerotherapy treatments to resolve smaller varicose veins and spider veins. The doctors develop a customized plan depending on the severity of each individual's vascular issues...

My credit card was compromised by mailing information to that address. How archaic is this? in addition, you should not be placing checks in the mail. Postal workers have been stealing checks and bank accounts have been hacked as a result. I am 72 years old but this business must modernize. There is no way to make online payments with this business. I make all payments online and will make no exceptions anymore. I am very disappointed in their treatment of payments and disregard for safeguarding people's finances. Bob E.

Many years ago, medical clinics would ask for our social security number in order to get treated…read more Insurance companies also used it as a patient's identifier. It became illegal for clinics and insurance companies to request a social security number because many were leaked, hacked or even sold by medical clinics, and put their patients at risk of identity theft. Now the less ethical clinics are now demanding to scan your driver's license to keep it in their files in order to treat a patient. Driver's license information can be used to commit identity theft, so that's the same problem as with the social security number. Decent clinics ask to view the driver's license to confirm patients' identity but do not demand a copy of it. This clinic REFUSES TREATMENT if you don't agree to let them scan your driver's license!!! They DO NOT CARE if it is putting you at great financial risk as it was the case with social security numbers. This clinic is rude, unethical, and very disrespectful. Many other places will not ask to scan your driver's license. Do not encourage clinics that are either very clueless about how easily data is stolen at clinics, or they don't care, or they sell your data for profit. Be aware that clinics have to comply with HIIPA regulation, but driver's license information is not protected health information under HIIPA, therefore clinics can do whatever they want with it, that's why it's a very bad practice to give them this information, and ethical clinics that respect their patients do not ask for it. I refuse to deal with such unethical clinics, and if many of you do the same, they'd have no choice but to change their practice.
