When I contacted them about it I was given the runaround a but then finally directed to the right person who informed me they were already getting ready to fire the person who works the grinder because of his incompetence. They told me everything I needed to do to file a claim so they could pay for the repairs. As a single mother this whole thing really screwed me over. But they seemed to be on the same page that they would take responsibility for the incident. I went a month without a car because I couldn't drive it. Then finally everything was looking up when Granite's insurance adjusted the estimate and then gave the ok to get my car fixed. My car got fixed and everything was looking up. Then a week later I got a letter in the mail from them stating that they will not pay for anything because there was no proof that they caused the damage! I gave them everything and more that they asked for but yet somehow I guess my sunroof just randomly shattered on its own right when my car was next to the grinder. When I asked why I was given the ok to get the car fixed they said the person who gave the ok wasn't supposed to and she was fired so I had no way to contact her about it. Which left me with a $2000 bill. This company is horrible, they lie and they fire employees just to get out of paying for their mistakes. Anyone driving near construction be aware that they like to hire incompetent people then fire them when they cause damage to avoid having to pay.

They were assigned to us from our home warranty company, and abandoned us on 2 separate jobs in the same week - one heating and one plumbing. First they wouldn't come out unless we promised to "privately pay" (outside of home warranty agreement), then abandoned each separate job without communication. They took $350 from us without fixing anything, AND charged the home warranty company. Unreliable, unprofessional, and untrustworthy.

We called an independent contractor for a second opinion. The private contractor actually looked at the problem and fixed it for less than $100. The stem just needed replacement as the one we tried did not have the correct washer. We would have been left with a hole in our drywall in our living room and an $1100 bill had we gone with Jerry's. Given this experience, I'd be very careful moving forward with any services from this company.
