I've acquired car knowledge only through owning the ones I've had and it's all been bare minimum. All that to say, I have not felt like she was talking over me. I have not felt like this company is trying to take advantage of me, AT ALL. Unfortunately mechanics have a bad reputation but this company has proven to me that they are honest people. I've had to get an oil change and all of my coils replaced. They tried to see if my car would allow just the second coil being replaced but after starting my car a couple times, my car wanted 1,3 & 4 replaced as well. Anyway, I had to leave my car overnight which it's in an area that didn't give me any anxiety so there was no fear of my car getting vandalized. My car is running good-as-new so I'm def pleased that the problem has been resolved. You are able to buy the parts for your car and they will use those, since that can cut on cost. Those parts will not be under their warranty. I had to get my car fixed asap so I didn't go that route but it's def good info to know if you don't need to get it fixed immediately. My only complaint? That I am unable to interact with the mechanics in the garage. I love chatting with people and making new friends but then again..... this is already the hottest and most humid summer I've experienced in DFW (yall, I work outside as a laborer so I get to stand on this soapbox) The opposite of a complaint now: they offer free candy, cokes & water and also free play on arcade games while you wait. To be honest one was really bad, and BOTH were on fender crease lines that looked impossible to repair. When I got her car back, all of the hail damage was repaired and they also were able to fix the side dents. The car looked like brand new. I'm still in disbelief they were able to fix the ugly dents on the side! Fantastic work and an easy process. They took the insurance check and worked with my insurance to ensure it was covered. Moreno Customs is not what it used to be, apparently. I paid half of $2000 in November, 2021, for…read morecarpet and front seat upholstery for my daughter's 2002 Eldorado. In March, 2022, Ricardo said to bring the car in. It sat outside on the lot, collecting dirt until December, 2022, when the work was finally completed. I paid the balance, thanked Ricardo, and drove home. On the way, I notice that the panel above the radio had cracked and been glued. I thought maybe this damage had been done earlier and that I hadn't noticed it, but after receiving a replacement part from eBay and starting to install it, I noticed several other places behind the radio where plastic was broken. Apparently, Moreno pried on the panel as well as the radio, trying to access the mounts for the center console. Also, one of the center console mounts was broken at both ends because they had applied upward pressure to the console until it broke loose. And the trim around the shifter was broken off. In a follow-up text, Ricardo apologized for the damage, but also said that damage was already there. It wasn't. I had had the radio out previously and there was no damage to anything. There is a specific sequence of screw removal to gain access behind the console. I had learned how to remove these parts from a YouTube video. See my photos of the damage. Moreno Customs has apparently had a bad year. Ricardo blamed the pandemic, supply chain issues and employees quitting. This is all understandable, but doesn't justify rushing through a disassembly by breaking a customer's parts. How did he even think I wouldn't notice the damage? I think I will be able to epoxy the plastics parts back together, but am not sure how long they will hold up. I have also discovered that the new carpet was installed on top of the old, dirty carpet. My first reaction is WTH? I can't find anything online supporting this as an accepted practice in a vehicle. I guess Moreno saved some money on underlay material. So, now I have to live with the thought of the dirt and stains still being there, out of sight. Sheesh.

This was two days before Thanksgiving 2024 and after a couple weeks went by receiving no communication, I posted a review on Google still no phone calls. I reached out to them YET AGAIN after another week and instead of communicating about my vehicle she wanted to argue about the bad review I left stating they attempted to call me. I printed out my phone logs just to further prove my point that during this entire fiasco they have attempted to call me only once. I sat in their office having a face-to-face conversation with them stating that the cosmetics mean nothing to me I need my vehicle to operate mechanically and safely just as it did before I was hit. Weeks go by and still no word. Once again I call them and I was told was that they completed cosmetic work prior to even looking at the mechanical work and were still waiting to assess the mechanical portion. On what planet would a mechanical shop perform cosmetic work prior to any mechanical work?! What if the car is totaled? I mean, I'm just a mechanic too, What do I know? We have now started a brand new year. It's a week in to 2025 and the last time I have heard about my car was at the beginning of December. If you want your car fixed correctly and in a timely manner, do not bring your car here.. I wouldn't wish this place on my enemies. Lessons learned.
