I see he has since moved to Union(most likely cheaper rent since the area is at least a notch lower). At the Springfield location you had to walk back & forth down long hallways & this was when Mom was using a walker & shortly afterwards had to start using a wheelchair so not pleasant. As far as the wait it was always a minimum 30-45 mins & as other reviewers have said he was in a rush. When we first saw him I mentioned Mom having 3 separate issues & after he examined the one he said "we'll address the others next visit" Seriously? Of course it was just to increase his income since Medicare knocked his requested charges down by about 80%. I will say when he eventually addressed the other problems they pretty much were taken care of but after 3 visits I found a place literally around the corner(we were new to the area so weren't familiar with local practices. Maybe it's easier to navigate to his Union office but I'm sure his attitude & demeanor haven't changed(at least for the better)

A friend of mine ( this disease does not run in his family) noticed a similar symptom on his own child and recommended Dr. Turner who ended running a slew of tests to confirm. We arrived early for our appointment and waited over 45 minutes. The actual appointment lasted less than 10 minutes and it felt extremely impersonal and rushed. As a new patient, I have never had a doctor come into a room and lay his hands on my child without at least talking to them to make them feel comfortable. He came into the room he never introduced himself or shook my hand, or introduced himself to my child. Dr. Turner's bedside manner needs some serious help. After briefly speaking with him, I felt he dismissed my concerns and did not leave me with any more information than I came in with. I left the office with the thought " What a complete waste of time and money!" Specialist are not cheap under my insurance, this wasn't a free clinic I was paying for him see my child. He could have at least given me a pamphlet or taken time to address my concerns. I would not recommend Dr. Turner, I would not use his services for my child or for myself. Btw.. he is located on Morris Avenue and there is parking behind he building. The website has not been updated.

Within 5 minutes of arrival was called into the exam room & did wait 15-20 mins so moderate. My rule of thumb is depending on how involved your visit 45-60 mins from time you enter to time you leave is acceptable. Saw Dr Stephanie Llanos; fairly young but pleasant personality & didnt rush the appt, explained everything. Only small glitch was 2nd visit this year the European woman said my insurance was rejected even though it's the same insurance w/no changes so i asked her to recheck & it did go thru the 2nd time so maybe a bit careless with entering info so in case that happens you ask her to double check. Will continue to frequent this office.

First removal vist the receptionist wanted minimally half the cost so I paid $ 183.00...I had a total of 5 removals over the course of 4 1/2 weeks...I paid them another $ 183.00 on the day of the 5th removal.....at the end of that week I was scheduled to have the 6th removed and when I got their the receptionist said I had to pay them $ 759.00 because I had not met my deductible yet..I told her that was impossible to do and she said ok you can pay half which would be $ 375.00..which was still impossible as I just paid them &183.00 4 days prior..I said I could pay her $ 50 that was no good enough so she called the office Manager named Candace who told me I had to pay the amount or had the option of leaving my credit card ( which meant they would charge it anyway )..Again said I could not this week...not good enough so she told me she would cancel the appointment saying I declined service......Next thing I knew the receptionist told me my appointment was cancelled and the doctor was seeing other patients..It was more important they get their hundreds of dollars up front then my medical care....unbelievable....I am 51 years old and all my doctors are in union...I pay my bills and have never experienced such harassment by a doctors office to decline treatment for a scheduled procedure....such a shame because the Dr. Kanani is a true smart professional but I need to find a more caring practice as a whole....very sad!!!

Laser patients here are treated like numbers on a conveyor belt, rushed through with zero care or professionalism, and my prior visit included a false $562 billing issue. Very disappointing experience--I will never return!

He tells you things in the spirit of honesty and leaves you to decide if you want to go through with it. That right there gave me very good vibes. I took a break from getting tattoo removal for a few years because I needed to handle family and financial issues, but I definitely plan on going back. The pricing is also very fair!
