The food and service were amazing! Tortillas & chips tasted homemade. Beautiful artwork everywhere. Patio area has fire pits & an amazing vibe!

I had a great overall experience! I liked the fact that security checks people's bags. It's a good safety precaution some places don't enforce, especially when alcohol is involved. The food was delicious, and the drinks had me oh so faded. Dj was LITT. I was lit. We were lit. I'm still amazed the center stage spins. Twas a pawsome experience, I definitely recommend going with some friends.

Well, after one of our tournaments, we were looking for a place for all of us to go eat and we stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant. It's out on I 45 and it was the old Joe's Crab shack. As far as the looks of this restaurant. It is gorgeous. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. A beautiful bar. The service was very good. The waiters waitresses host, etc. they were all so very very nice. There was about 10 of us. We mainly ordered the Mexican food - the fajitas and flautas and quesadillas with the beans and rice and pico de gallo. Our beef / chicken fajitas for one was plenty for the two of us. The chicken was very flavorful. The beef was pretty tender. The charro beans were so good. They were flavored so well. The rice was good. The pico de gallo left a little to be desired but they did put a pepper that they grilled on top of the fajitas and let me tell you it was hot. There was definitely a kick behind it. One of the ladies got the salmon and she said it was excellent. I took a picture of the top of the salmon plate but not from the side so you can't see that this salmon fillet is about 2 1/2 inches thick. It was a lot and she said it was flavored so well. The flautas were good. The quesadillas, they said the beef was very tender. A Friend got the enchiladas and he really really liked them . So the amount of food you get is a lot for the price. The prices are medium. They're not super expensive. There was a lady that came around took pictures of our table, and then she came back with them in a frame and offered for us to buy them for $20 apiece. So that's why they're taking your picture. We think this place is probably more known for their seafood. They have a lot and one of our guys said he will definitely be coming back to try the octopus. He said it looked really good. So, if you're in the mood for Mexican food and you're at I 45 go ahead and go by. Just the beauty alone the Murial of Selena and Freda are done so well. The patio has a humongous TV on it. So great for game days and race days things like that. Really good for large parties. I think we'll definitely go back.

This a review based on the food only. The vibes here are cool. It's a nice hangout restaurant for drinks only. I've came about 5 times now and no matter what I get the food is always over cooked or bland. So I just give up. I'll be coming here for frozen margaritas only. I got the ceviche tostada which was probably the only good thing on the menu. The wings are okay too. I got fried octopus and it was almost too burned (fried hard) to eat. I got the fish with rice and French fries and again super crispy extra fried and it had no flavor. I won't be coming to oder food here anymore. But I'll be here for the party scene.

    Tamarindo margarita! Yum!

This was such an amazing experience! We have driven by here before and just today, we chose to stop. I highly recommend this place! Everything was delicious!

Oysters were so fresh and flavorful! You gotta try the ones with pico, avocado, and then add a lil lime oh my gooooodness you wont be disappointed! I ate those while sippin on my toxica felix - a slight sweet and spicy drink. Another good drink is the Guava Love, its fruity and very refreshing! The staff is great too super clean and always checking up on you!

WoW! This place is amazing! It's beautifully decorated and their patio is beautiful! The Selena tribute is so gorgeous! Then go inside to see this huge dining area with plenty of tables to serve large or small groups. A well-stocked bar with plenty to choose from! The service is friendly and prompt! We were with a large group celebrating a birthday and the staff was on point with their service! We were waited on promptly and given great service. She brought our drinks, water, and food out fast despite us arriving late and adding our order in. Once the food came out, it was brought hot and fresh and OMG was it delicious! Those fajitas are so tasty and tender! Oh and if you visit on a Friday night, you're in for a real treat! A real BANDA comes through with all of the 25+ members playing horns, trumpets, and tubas! Oh, it's a sight and a wonderful sound to hear!

So, there's potential here. Not sure how much, but as dad would say, it's got "good bones." I kept driving past on 45, thinking it looks pretty cool from the outside- and that continues inside, too, with large facial artwork with accents of neon lights on the walls. There's at least two dozen TVs surrounding the main dining room, and a big screen outside on the large patio. Hubs made the comment that this place probably doubles as a dance hall with the full-wall bar on the weekends, if you just moved the tables out of the way. They certainly have the sound system for it- with only three tables occupied, the tejano music is reverberating off every hard surface. The menu is tiny. And I mean, really. Tiny. Carnitas (street taco style) for both hubby and me. Along with quac to get us started. Food was ok. The guac had a nice flavor to it (but needed a dosing of pico de gallo, tbh). The carnitas were just ok, nothing to really write home about. I wish this place the best, and maybe a random Thursday evening (with a massive rainstorm brewing outside) isn't its best, but even with as cute as it looks outside, it just doesn't have the substance inside to bring me back. Womp. Womp.

This is a new spot. Me and my sister went for lunch and was disappointed with the food. The server let us know it was happy hour time that ends at 2pm. Happy hour times are usually scheduled later in the day at other restaurants, but we did get to get margaritas for a good price. I asked if the Chile's rellenos will be fried and the server said yes, it comes with spicy sauce, and I asked the server to put the sauce on the side. When my order came out it was not fried, and the sauce was on the food. I was not offered to have it redone. The rice is very plain. The manager didn't come over to see if everything was good. The only good thing is that the restaurant has a good look and atmosphere.

The potato, corn, and side of rice were also excellent. However, once we began eating the seafood, things took a sharp turn. After just a few bites--a couple of shrimp, two clams, and half a crab leg--I began to feel extremely nauseous. The flavor was overwhelming and unpleasant, almost like seawater, and I couldn't stomach any more. My dining companion and I left 97% of the seafood untouched. I requested lemon water or something to cleanse my palate, but the discomfort was immediate and intense. Our waiter was outstanding--attentive, understanding, and very professional. He brought over the manager on duty, Angel, to address the issue. I want to be clear: I wasn't looking for a refund or to avoid paying. I simply wanted the dish to be acknowledged as inedible and, ideally, accommodated appropriately since I couldn't eat it. Unfortunately, the response I received from Angel was shockingly rude and unprofessional. From the moment he approached our table, he was defensive and dismissive. When I mentioned that the seafood didn't taste fresh and that I was feeling sick, he took it personally and responded aggressively, insisting their seafood is always fresh and that they've never received complaints. I explained that I've been a loyal customer and this location is actually one of our favorites, but the food that night was not up to standard. Rather than listening, Angel continued to argue and even questioned whether I was truly feeling sick, claiming it would take 24-48 hours for symptoms to appear. I reminded him he was a restaurant manager--not a medical professional--and that making such claims was both inappropriate and dismissive. When I asked for his name, he became even more confrontational. He loudly stated, "I don't gotta write down shit for nobody," and walked away. This level of disrespect and lack of accountability was truly appalling. What upset me most was not the food, but the way I was treated. Angel showed no empathy or professionalism. After a lengthy and uncomfortable discussion, he finally offered a 25% discount, only to later apply just 10% at checkout. I have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant setting. I will be contacting corporate regarding this matter and am also considering speaking with legal counsel due to the severity of how this situation affected me physically and emotionally.

We've been passing by this place for awhile and today the wife and I decided to meet up after work…read moreand try them out. Upon entering, the place is nice and more spacious than we expected. Very clean and well put together. We we were greeted promptly and told to choose our seat and that she would be right with us. Well.. that wasn't the case. The lady that greated us was the greeter the bartender the hostess and order taker and one young man as a server was all they had. Fast forward past the wait. Our food comes. Presentation was nice loved the wooden serving trays. Burgers were nice size as seen on social media. I had the Texan burger with chili and cheese and my wife had Kions classic with cheese. Burgers were great. Meat was grilled to perfection with the chard edges i like. But were a little salty as were the onion rings. It taste like the same seasoning is used for the burger fries and onion rings so it became a little overwhelming. Which was part of the reason fir the 3 star. The other reason was the wait (to order and check out) due to the lack of staff and the other is the price. $66 for 2 burgers, fries and onion rings which the portions aren't worth the $10 price. Will we return? Possibly but not any time soon. @Manager. First, condolences to you and your family . But I notice you are very defensive in your few responses to reviews. And im sure you're going to take offense to this comment also but it is not to offend you or your business but more-so to help. I noticed you haven't even taken the time to respond to those that have given you good to great reviews. Those people deserve your attention more. And even in the responses you have given, there are more professional ways of defending your establishment. Like thanking the person for patronizing your business whether they gave you a good or bad review (they spent their hard earned money). Then thanking them for taking the time to leave you a review (good or bad) and read reviews with the intent to understand not to respond. We don't know what's going on in your personal life when we enter your establishment just as you don't know what's going on in ours.. you expect us to repect your business upon entering as we expect a level of service and professionalism that makes us feel good about spending our money. If your loss was going to impact your service maybe inform people when they enter that service is going to be a little slow due to short staff. I see your favorite thing to say is "our prices are listed". Don't you think we know that? Don't you think we seen the price on the menu when we ordered? So obviously we're not complaining about the price but more so what we got for the price. Though we can see how much we're going to spend before ordering, we can not see what we're getting for what we're spending until it comes out. And that is what I was referring to.. price vs portion. And my review said some good things also and said we would possibly return.. but that now will not happen. Please just think before you respond to people and remember they have already given you their hard earned money before making reviews of your business good or bad.. so always lead with a "Thank You..."
