The food here is PHENOMENAL. Ashley was a fantastic waitress. The food was delivered less than 5 minutes after ordering, hot and delicious. If you want a fabulous, authentic meal, you need to come here.

Their delicious taco salad via Door Dash! Look at those toppings! Always an absolutely delectable meal.

This place is my go-to for my taco salad cravings! 90% of my experience with their food has been through Door Dash. Their ground beef taco salad has always been delectable. For starters, they nail a perfect ratio of meat and toppings, (look at those toppings - YUM!) all while presented beautifully in that delivery box. The flavors of the taco shell, the cheese and guac and pico, everything, has never disappointed. I appreciate how consistent they are with my favorite order! On that note, think I might have to order another one now and recommend you try it too.

This restaurant serves big portions of tasty Mexican food. I wanted to try the tostada de ceviche and was pleased, it was tasty and refreshing! The waiter was attentive and friendly, making the dining experience pleasant. Would come back again!

Our first night in Waco Texas and of COURSE we had to stop of Mexican food! It is truly a staple and favorite in my household. My husband ordered the birria, I shared the mocajete with my mom, and my kids got the taco plates! We had a group of 11 with us and the waitstaff was very accommodating. However, we were veryyy squished with two tables fit for 8 people. So it made it a bit difficult to actually spread out. My dad ordered the tilapia fried and booooooy it was fantastic! Everyone else ordered the normal stuff, tacos, bacon wrapped shrimp plate, chicken tenders, etc. The birria was ok, husband said it was a 3 out of 5. The drinks were great - beer & a few mixed ones were ordered. Queso & chips were fantastic! Just like we remember them. Overall, I can't wait to come back to town again and enjoy another meal with my family.

The food was not good. The bacon was so over cooked it was hard, it wasn't burnt but it was very crunchy. My son ordered sausage patties and they were grey and had a funny taste. The beans tasted burnt and the tortillas were not homemade like they used to be. The waitress was nice.

Service is good, but the seating jn restaurant is tight, a lot of tables, more booths that are really tight fitting especially if your a bigger person, may want to wait for a table with chairs to open up. Lots of choices in menu. My own opinion is the seating. Not impressed with Taco salad. The shell seemed stale & chewy, not crispy like chips.

My Tex Mex lunch platter. Currently 6.99. Beef taco and enchilada w rice and beans. Add another enchilada for a buck.

Thankfully, Yelp absolutely came through clutch (as it usually does) and led us to Our Breakfast Place. We intentionally tried to time things to beat the post-church crowd and I think we mostly succeeded... though there was still a little bit of a wait. Thankfully, this place is absolutely worth the wait! The restaurant was bustling and busy but still had a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. The menu was extensive with tons of tempting breakfast options, the prices were very reasonable to me, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Our waitress was so kind and friendly and even the women seated nearby struck up conversation with us while we waited for our food. It just had that warm, community-oriented breakfast spot vibe. I ordered the blueberry lemon pancakes which were a seasonal special and wow, they were fantastic. Sweet but not overly so, fluffy, flavorful, and the combo also came with an egg and I chose two slices of bacon. All delicious and certainly plenty filling. The coffee was strong too, which I greatly appreciated. All in all, this was a five-star breakfast experience and the kind of local spot I love discovering while traveling. If I'm ever back in Waco, I'd happily return.

Sorryhardto call it a classic gastropub. On another level, it's sort of a new American cafe, and in this particular vein of thinking, it certainly hits a lot of the high notes. The food is well-selected, with a smattering of farm-to-table plates, various proteins, and the classic pub selection of small bites. I really like the outdoor patio. The swamp coolers help to make the area hospitable even in the middle of the summer. I sat outside by myself, not too far from one of those blasting humidifiers, and enjoyed a nice cold beer and a delicious burger. My server was incredibly kind and very attentive. I think, in the long run, what I would most consider Milo to be is a restaurant that has a bar, that serves primarily farm-to-table delicious food. Yeah, that-seems to sum-it all-up. Oh, and the service is excellent.

When the other hostess asked us if we wanted to sit outside, we politely declined. After that, the hostess's attitude toward us noticeably changed. I overheard her telling the other hostess that we could "go somewhere else." I found this very disrespectful and unprofessional. We completely understood the wait time and were willing to wait; we simply preferred to sit inside. Customers should not be made to feel unwelcome simply because they decline outdoor seating. I hope management addresses this, because the food and overall service were good, but this interaction negatively affected our experience.
