One of my favorite breakfast locations in Waco. We frequent this location because of the food and the service.

Love the tortillas, salsa, queso and chips. You can brown the tortillas on camal or just over stove fire and makes them so much better and cooked thoroughly and when you add butter it just melts and sets it off. As for the food I've only tried the tacos on Taco Tuesday because my mother-in-law wanted to go I was not a fan that I was unable to get my beef without onions I do not eat onions and onion was in pretty much everything. read more

The most disgusting fake Tex - mex place I've ever been. Tell me what kind of Tex- Mex -place doesn't even have quesadillas and has carrot cake for dessert!!!!! The service is usually fast but please never go it is not worth your money at all. Absolutely horrible NO BUENO FOR CACA!!! I'm white and I can cook better Mexican food then Rosas. They half try at this location. I guess they thought we did not need any salsa so they left it out. The Franklin Ave restaurant is vastly superior. Seems like Rosa's would be the same everywhere, but look at the way the refried beans are in with the tacos. It looks like a dirty diaper. read more

This is seriously one of the cleanest establishments in the Waco/Hewitt area! If you're looking for a fast, fresh, and clean dining experience, then this is the place for you! We got the fajita nachos enchilada with sour cream sauce combo dinner, with a small side of queso and sopapillas. Everything comes out super fast, the food is always delicious. I don't think we've ever had any complaints; this place has friendly staff, almost nonexistent wait time, and good food. What more could you ask for? read more

This was my first visit to any of these restaurants. I thought it was amazing! The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. They checked on us, and even offered us some free dessert for our daughter. The gentlemen who I assume was the manager was so polite and kind! Even helped carry the meal over with my husband. The salsa bar that have is great- glad to see many options including fresh whole jalapeños! We ordered a few things and everything came out great. Everything was seasoned great, and the tortillas were fresh! The pork tamales were great, it was so much food that I took home half for dinner. My daughter ordered black bean tacos and they were very flavorful as well. I noticed a lot of bad reviews but I have nothing but great things to say. Even the bathrooms were clean. I have made three visits to this location since they opened. I have tried several different dishes and am far from pleased with the quality and flavor of the food for the price... As far as I am concerned, Taco Bell (which I don't recommend either) is their equal and I'll pass on both... read more

We love the place and come here often. I love the beef fiesta salad which is a low carb option because it omits the taco salad shell however lately they've been really skimping on the meat. 4 pieces of meat on a plate of lettuce for $13 is not ok. I realize inflation is a problem but you have to do better than that. My husband loves Taco Tuesday. read more

Looks grand, but deceiving for sure! Reminds me of Taco Cabana. Their tortillas were not hot , food was meh at best, cashier/order taker was a little annoyed with us (first timers). I guess if we had wanted chips, we would have had to order them. A total waste of time and money, so unsure as to why they are crowded. Two positives: the young man putting our orders on trays was super nice, and the sopapillas were good. read more

Fresh tortillas? No way. They were not soft and broke when you touched them. Not to mention they were molded within 2 days. I have gone here 3 times for their tortillas (flour) the first time they were amazing. The additional 2 times awful. Also ordered 3 burritos. Opened them to see which was which ( 3 different type) and each of them looked the same and looked like canned dog food was the ingredient. This is not good food. Threw them away. Will never go back. Do not believe the hype that their tortillas are fresh daily. read more

Outstanding Service! Walked in about 9:30 last night - Aljehrome (Manager?) answered my questions being very patient and then I placed my order to go. Al prepared my order (vegetarian nachos) again service with a Smile. And, yes the nachos were great! read more

Rosa's is pretty consistent place with all menu items except today with the chicken enchiladas.. looks like maybe had to change their chicken supplier & was not good. Lots of "parts" mixed in with white meat chicken & could not chew. Usually dark meat is used so hoping this will be a temporary glitch. Service is always quick so we will try again... maybe bypass the chicken enchiladas for awhile. read more

The first time my mom and I visited was the BEST. The food tasted so fresh and I kept thinking about it. ESPECIALLY the chicken tacos. However, the second time when we brought my dad with us, it was just slightly dissapointing. He shared with us that one of the staff didn't wash his hands after using the restroom. Also, for the chicken tacos we had this time, the chicken was watery and it made the taco soggy/break apart. I was ignoring this part because the tacos were really good, but it is not fun when you bite into something and a whole bunch of water squirts out of your mouth. there better a rosa's cafe in heaven. i believe that God created rosa's on the 8th day. rosa's is truly the 8th wonder of the world. the tacos take away my ability to form a coherent sentence. all i can do when i take a bite is close my eyes hang my head because i know i will be chasing this high for the rest of my life. i'm about to move away for college and i will dream of rosa's every night. me and my best friend eat at rosa's at least twice a month and the memories shared over chips and salsa will be special to me forever. rosa's may have you on the john for a couple hours, but it's worth every second. the atmosphere is electric and we have even become friends with the employees who remember our orders now. rosa's is truly my second home. my future home will be a carbon copy of the hewitt rosa's. i love you rosa's, until next time. read more

I am usually a suckered for a great mom and pops Mexican restaurant. However, on my first visit to this restaurant I was very disappointed. I ordered my food, left it on the table with my wife and daughter and went to use the rest room. As I walked in the restroom, I noticed one of the employees flushed, and walked out without washing his hands. I lost my appetite. Note for Rosa's: if employees are wearing gloves or mask once they leave the work area or touch any part of there body, it needs to be discarded. Employees preparing food with long hair or facial hair needs t be covered. Supervisors, part of your jobs is to look over your team to see what they are doing. Just some free feedback. read more

Went 4/18/22 at hewitt location .not busy at all , Went thru drive thru and ordered for me and my wife.chiken fajita plate with rice and beans and guac salad. And was not satisfied with the service at all. Beans were spilled in bag out of plate no hot sauce with meal the salad was upside down .the fajitas looked boiled not grilled.it actually looked like the food was thrown in the bag.
