The waitress was sweet, but remained slow throughout the entire meal. Our waitress never offered drink refills, and we waited extended periods for a to-go box and our check before finally going to the cashier ourselves. The biggest issue was a strong sewage-like odor coming from the restroom area. We were seated nearby, and every time the bathroom doors opened, the smell drifted into the dining room. Even the handwashing station in the dining area had the same unpleasant odor. The food looked great when it arrived, and the chips and salsa seemed fresh. However, I was disappointed to learn they no longer serve guacamole with their fajitas. The chicken fajitas arrived sizzling hot, but became very dry as they cooled. They were spicy, but lacked much flavor. The rice and beans were good. Overall, between the slow service, unpleasant smell, and mediocre food, I would not return or recommend this restaurant. Their homemade chips are light and crispy, and their salsa is super flavorful while not overly spicy. It hits that happy medium between my husband and me. Breakfast is also great. I went for dinner and I was the only person in the restaurant on a Monday night. The server was sitting in the corner hiding behind an opened menu talking on his cell phone. After some time waiting (the bartender sat me) he eventually took my order. Even though the restaurant was empty my food took 40 mins. When I complained after 30 he assured me it would be out in a few minutes. I ordered the mixed grill Delicioso with seafood which when it arrived had been sitting cooking so long the fish was jerky. There were two tiny overcooked pieces of carnitas. Everything else was over cooked. So disappointing. After 25 visits this is likely my last. Clearly the place has fallen apart.
