We got some margaritas and ordered specials of the day. Taqueria Michoacan is a popular spot and was filling up quickly with regulars and visitors like ourselves. The menu has all the traditional items you expect to see and some unique dishes to try. I'm a fan of spicy and went with a carne asada plate with grilled jalepenos and was very good. Our other dish was a huaraches a longer version of a fresh tortilla with beans, meat and other toppings. Dish was awesome!! Service was great and food was reasonably priced. Someone needs to educate the manager on what a real ID looks like. Came in for my friend's 22nd birthday. Claiming it was fake ID because it was vertical and not horizontal and it did not matter if it said "under 21 until-said date-" Again it was his 22nd birthday and went the year prior with no issues. Service during dinner was horrible. Manager told us he didn't want us to leave but yet the waitress couldn't come back to check on us, couldn't refill non-alcoholic drinks or get the proper amount of utensils, we had to ask another server. Good food and wonderful variety. I would recommend eating there in person. Very bad experience when we do carry out. I was shocked because when we are there in person you can't help but smile. Amazing flavors and the best table side guac in the area. Love that we can enjoy the patio when it's nice out which some of the other restaurants in the area don't always offer.
