Tacolicious! :) My girl just finished a long day of studying and she's craving for something quick and hearty. I'm glad I yelped this place last minute and took a chance on their hours and location. The ambiance is where a taco truck should be rightfully so.. gritty back alley type of vibe but nothing dangerous since it's in Lake Forrest (this isn't LA lol). Their service is efficient and polite.. I got a greeting from a cool Tio so no complaint on that :) My girl ordered their carnitas tacos since that's the only flavor she apparently known to order.. I'm completely baffled but that's why we do this random date nights so she knows how to roll with elite hahaha. I ordered their cabeza and al pastor tacos (which she loves and tasted). Their meat is so tender and flavorful. The package wrapping is a legit lunch box type as well :) I can even gift this package (not kidding) haha. My husband and I love taco trucks. He is very picky, and loves this spot. Some of the things we have really enjoyed here are, the pastor tacos with HANDMADE tortilla, thank me later :) And we also really like the sopes and tortas. My nephew wanted mulitas and a found this on yelp so we decided to make a stop. They are a green truck with plenty of parking. We got 2 carne asada & 1 shrimp taco. It was $25.xx. I was quite shocked by the price. I do have to say these were the most expensive multias we ever ordered-$10. They do come with grilled onions, a jalapeño, and a few cucumbers & radish. The mulitas I thought looked bigger but they are the same size as other places. They just do a lot of cheese to get a huge cheese ring around it. You can see my picture. So very cheesy! My nephew liked it. My shrimp taco had good flavor but they were the tinniest shrimps I've ever seen. I counted 4 mini shrimps filled with lots of cheese & slaw. I cannot describe how much I love Mexifornia Grill, these have to be the BEST tacos I have tried in Southern California. This food truck is located on Raymond way by the El Toro library and is so unsuspecting to have the quality of food that they do. Just a small green truck with no branding :) Tacos de lengua, Carne Asada, Mulitas, Carne Asada Fries, Quesabirria Tacos, the list goes on of the array of items I've tried and have absolutely LOVED. The staff is always consistent with service (nice and quick to get your order out) as well as the food being good every single time I come (10+ times since 2023). My boyfriend and I tried a variety of tacos--Asada, Suadero, Al Pastor, Cabeza, and Lengua--and we were blown away, especially by the Suadero and Cabeza! They were so good, we had to go back for a second round and ordered three more of each--for both of us! We also grabbed a couple more Asada and Al Pastor tacos, which were equally flavorful and satisfying. This spot has officially become our new go-to for Taco Tuesdays! The staff was super friendly--especially the young guy working there. He took the time to chat with us and even recommended the Carne Asada Torta as his personal favorite. We'll definitely be back to try that next time! Btw, it seems like they have two different names: Mexifornia Grill and Raffas Tacos. Not sure which one is the correct one since we found this via Raffas Tacos. This place is also NOT CLOSED. It's open as of today 07/19/2025. They say they're open everyday 4pm-1am with inconsistent Mondays. UPDATE: I went there again and tried the shrimp tacos and holy smokes, it was so good! The shrimp tacos do come with melted cheese and I didn't know that so I let them know I'd like it without it and they were extremely nice enough to remake it without extra charge. I LOVE LOVE their habanero sauce! It pairs so well the shrimp tacos but I definitely had to go back for Cabeza and Suadero tacos again. They never disappoint read more

Out of several Mexican food trucks in the area, this one stands out for a diverse set of details. Whatever ingredients they are putting together here are top notch and all seem to be freshly made on the spot. The chips have a great mix of subtle flavor and lightly salted pieces in between - and the salsa they serve the chips with is perfectly spicy and uniquely flavorful. Their California Burrito is excellent. Their chorizo tacos are fantastic: uniquely flavored and comfortably spicy and moist. Their lengua tacos are hands-down the best in the area: seasoned to perfection, very moist, and tender. Their keto tacos are a real treat - the cheese shells are delectable and can be served with any of the meats... but the birria meat with the keto taco is a perfect match and is highly recommended... the birria meat is very well seasoned and moist. Their side serving (automatically served with the tacos) of grilled onions and Chiles Toreados is a perfect treat along any of their dishes. This is the type of food truck where you want to work your way through the menu over time. Of all the trucks in the area, this one may be the cleanest - all the ingredients are in the cooking area as opposed to in canisters sitting on the side of the truck. Wow! Great asada tacos with lots of meat, grilled veggies, limes and just the right seasonings! Been by this taco truck 100s of times, because we live nearby, first time trying the fantastic food. It's a no frills place, but I took an offered plastic seat to wait while our order was freshly prepared. The gentleman who waited on me was very nice and service was quick to go.
