Quesabirria taco + Mulita de asada
    Stephani M.

I cannot describe how much I love Mexifornia Grill, these have to be the BEST tacos I have tried in Southern California. This food truck is located on Raymond way by the El Toro library and is so unsuspecting to have the quality of food that they do. Just a small green truck with no branding :) Tacos de lengua, Carne Asada, Mulitas, Carne Asada Fries, Quesabirria Tacos, the list goes on of the array of items I've tried and have absolutely LOVED. The staff is always consistent with service (nice and quick to get your order out) as well as the food being good every single time I come (10+ times since 2023). If you want some BOMB tacos you have to try !!!

I love this taco truck so much! It's my go to taco favorite and the tacos are delicious too. Not only is the food good but it also doesn't take too long. The taco truck itself is so easy to find and it has a nice little dining shelf. Must try!

My boyfriend and I tried a variety of tacos--Asada, Suadero, Al Pastor, Cabeza, and Lengua--and we were blown away, especially by the Suadero and Cabeza! They were so good, we had to go back for a second round and ordered three more of each--for both of us! We also grabbed a couple more Asada and Al Pastor tacos, which were equally flavorful and satisfying. This spot has officially become our new go-to for Taco Tuesdays! The staff was super friendly--especially the young guy working there. He took the time to chat with us and even recommended the Carne Asada Torta as his personal favorite. We'll definitely be back to try that next time! Btw, it seems like they have two different names: Mexifornia Grill and Raffas Tacos. Not sure which one is the correct one since we found this via Raffas Tacos. This place is also NOT CLOSED. It's open as of today 07/19/2025. They say they're open everyday 4pm-1am with inconsistent Mondays. UPDATE: I went there again and tried the shrimp tacos and holy smokes, it was so good! The shrimp tacos do come with melted cheese and I didn't know that so I let them know I'd like it without it and they were extremely nice enough to remake it without extra charge. I LOVE LOVE their habanero sauce! It pairs so well the shrimp tacos but I definitely had to go back for Cabeza and Suadero tacos again. They never disappoint

This is what the food truck looks like.

Hands down the best tacos in OC. The meats are amazing and generous helpings. Taco Tuesday deals are a plus.

All the tortillas here are hand made. Camraon Burrito ($11) - This burrito consisted of grilled shrimp, melted cheese, avocado, cabbage, tomato, and chipotle salsa. It was packed with so much meat and tasted so good. I usually get their their mar y tierra burrito which comes with carne asada and shrimp ($12), but the camaron has become my favorite. Overall this is a great place to go to get your taco or burrito fix. There is always a line out the door during the week day lunch rush, but it moves along quickly. The churros here are also the perfect sweet treat. Another thing I really like here is their salsa bar which has so many different types, including my personal favorites: chipotle mayo and a cilantro salsa.

Lupe's Mexican Eatery has a surprisingly fulfilling array of appetizers, plates, and drinks, though…read morethe main draw for me are their stuffed and voluminous burritos. I've tried several of the burritos here for their size, flavour, and variety of ingredients, most memorably the Lupe's, Hot Cheetos, California and birria burritos. The Lupe's is stacked with steak and bacon, grilled onion and cilantro, jack cheddar cheese and Chipotle sauce AND guac, so you'll love it as the mash of distinct savoury flavours it is if you love each of those ingredients. It's filling and fills you with both strength and fatigue to prep for or recover from a day of hard work. 5.7/10. Hot Cheetos burritos are something you occasionally see around for some reason, and the one's here are solid, though I prefer the version available at Primo's by a solid margin. Lupe's Cheeto's burritos do have an interesting compressive texture that I strangely somewhat enjoy. 4.4/10. The California burrito is a standard and very solid rendition of a classic. I would put the Lupe's version at above average in quality as they're definitely not mediocre or disappointing. 5.3/10. The birria burrito is just as packed and filling as the other burritos, but tastes and feels significantly more fresh as it consists of a juicy but light birria steak, red beans, and LOTS of chopped cilantro and diced onions. In fact, it primarily tastes of the leafy green, so definitely avoid it if you're not a fan. I enjoy it, though it definitely feels lighter and less satisfying to eat than its less healthy, heavier siblings, and suffers from its birria juices settling at the bottom of the burrito to be largely untasted throughout the eating experience, possibly as there isn't enough of it provided. 4/10. This spot also has a good salsa bar with particularly tasty sauces. My favorites are the classic verde and another, pale green sauce with a creamy flavour, both of which go well with all meals to varying effect. I like how the tortilla chips feel a bit cakey- it's slightly hard to describe, but they're not excessively salty either and fun to eat as a receptacle for the delicious sauces here. A solid spot with a nice, comfortable and fun, kitsch decorated interior, solid burritos and a solid selection of menu items at fairly standard prices.

Jack o lantern fair was just a few blocks away but we were craving seafood and we decided on Seafood 1555. Oh my gosh. I mean I need to come back and order again because it's worth it all! Just walk behind the parking lot when you enter the church, it's behind the car repairs. And they make it looks like a farmers market with about 3-4 businesses serving food and desserts :) Service was amazing they asked if we needed any thing and we were the only customers remaining so they were patient and didn't rush us at all. So many places treat it as an afterthought, but here it was very, very good--fresh, flavorful, and the perfect start to the meal. Great food, generous portions, and standout service. Seafood 1555 is a must-visit and an easy recommendation. We'll absolutely be back.

If I keep going to the same 2-3 places how am I ever going to keep my Elite status. Anyway, I just finished at the gym and had seen Tacos Ensenada here for years! I decided to give it a try. My daughter, ordered a combo plate with Pollo, the combo plate was on sale on Thursdays! We sat down after placing our order and a server brought us chips and a small plate of beans for dipping. I don't get that at my street taco places! The salsa bar had onions, cilantro, pico de gallo , as well as a green and a red salsa and limes. The food arrived, and I could only finish one of the two tacos! They were huge. Overall, the food was good, but I was surprised that my daughter's combo plate came with a side salad and ranch dressing. I don't usually see that at any authentic Mexican places. Having said that, overall, as mentioned, the food was good, the place was clean. The service was great and for the portion sizes the prices were very reasonable. I don't recommend the pico de gallo, but the green sauce was delicious. The red sauce was also really good!
