The Taco Stand started off in San Diego and due to it's popularity has spread to so many locations…read morein Southern California as well as a handful of places across the U.S. While they are extremely popular for their tacos, I'm always drawn in by the burritos here as I feel like they are the best bang for the buck. All the tortillas here are hand made. Camraon Burrito ($11) - This burrito consisted of grilled shrimp, melted cheese, avocado, cabbage, tomato, and chipotle salsa. It was packed with so much meat and tasted so good. I usually get their their mar y tierra burrito which comes with carne asada and shrimp ($12), but the camaron has become my favorite. Overall this is a great place to go to get your taco or burrito fix. There is always a line out the door during the week day lunch rush, but it moves along quickly. The churros here are also the perfect sweet treat. Another thing I really like here is their salsa bar which has so many different types, including my personal favorites: chipotle mayo and a cilantro salsa.

Workers are super chill, it's crowded but you always find a seat as people go in and out so quickly. Before I forget.... The Salsa is also fantastic

This place isn't popular enough!…read more We walked here after enjoying a fun day looking at the pet farm, winning some prizes at the fair, and built an appetite! Jack o lantern fair was just a few blocks away but we were craving seafood and we decided on Seafood 1555. Oh my gosh. We shared a steak burrito and two octopus& shrimp tacos & it was grilled to perfection. They also had 7 types of salsa as well as the fresh one they make on site. I mean I need to come back and order again because it's worth it all! Just walk behind the parking lot when you enter the church, it's behind the car repairs. And they make it looks like a farmers market with about 3-4 businesses serving food and desserts :) Service was amazing they asked if we needed any thing and we were the only customers remaining so they were patient and didn't rush us at all. Super kind cook. Pop up chairs, canopies, and beautiful dishes were served. Don't think twice. Go order some stellar seafood tacos today!!

You can feel that they care, and it makes the whole experience even better. The shrimp tacos were loaded--generous, fresh, and insanely flavorful. Every bite was satisfying, not skimpy in the slightest, and perfectly balanced. The kind of tacos you think about later and immediately want again. And don't sleep on the chips and salsa. So many places treat it as an afterthought, but here it was very, very good--fresh, flavorful, and the perfect start to the meal. Great food, generous portions, and standout service. Seafood 1555 is a must-visit and an easy recommendation. We'll absolutely be back.

Thankfully, I decided to stay for lunch because it ended up being a fantastic decision. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas with green sauce, served with rice and beans. Before the entrée arrived, they brought out complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa had a fresh, homemade flavor with just the right amount of kick--definitely a great start to the meal. As someone of Mexican descent, I'm pretty particular about Mexican food. It's easy to tell when dishes are made with care versus just thrown together, and Chuponcito definitely falls into the first category. The shrimp in the enchiladas were perfectly cooked--tender, juicy, and not rubbery--and the green sauce was rich, flavorful, and balanced without overpowering the dish. The rice was solid, but the refried beans were the real standout for me. They were creamy, well-seasoned, and tasted homemade, which is something I always appreciate. The service was warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal. The restaurant itself is small, charming, and very clean, including the restrooms, which says a lot about how they care for the overall dining experience. While I still can't wait to come back for those chilaquiles, I'm honestly happy I missed breakfast this time because I probably wouldn't have discovered how good the lunch menu is. Chuponcito definitely earned another visit from me.

You will hear Spanish here but there are plenty of friendly staff that speak fluent English (I would assume most of them). Their menu had exactly what I needed - an Al pastor burrito with rice, beans and happiness wrapped into a sizable log with a queso birria taco. It really doesn't matter what your mood is - it will get better when they deliver this. You know what you are in for because you watch them make it. I hadn't eaten anything earlier so I dramatically improved the quality of my life when I started eating this thing. The pastor was in big delicious chunks and it was perfect with the rice and beans - I got plenty of napkins and a fork for clean up and got after it. An incredible value for about $10. I watched them grill my queso birria taco and it was as beautiful going down as it looked on the grill. You could really taste the birria. My sole regret is that I could not eat more as I was totally satisfied. If you like good food - you need to visit Taqueria De Anda-Grill.
