Extremely Disappointed - Will Never Return I've had nothing but a poor experience with Meyers, both when purchasing our RV and during follow-up repairs. They clearly do not take pride in their work. The repairs were sloppy at best--bent parts were reused and simply caulked over, rubber marks were left unbuffed despite promises to clean them up, the damaged vapor barrier was not replaced, and they didn't install the necessary support strips to stabilize the fender. The fuel door was never replaced. Even something as simple as the wheel barring cap on the tire was not replaced. They had our RV for over a month and a half, yet communication was severely lacking. I called multiple times, left messages, and never received a call back--only occasional texts to my husband. Completely unprofessional. Our buying experience was no better. The RV we initially agreed to purchase was sold out from under us. There were major delays and broken promises regarding the installation of a rear awning--it took months and required constant chasing for updates. Meyers may be conveniently located, but it's been nothing but a headache. Poor service, poor communication, and poor workmanship. I will not be returning and absolutely will not recommend them.

Left my camper at Meyers for a simple electric repair. They ruined the leather seats and refuse to do anything.

They are actually owned by Camping World. If you thought buying a new car was a horrible experience, come here to buy an RV. They use sales tactics that make a used car dealer look honest. As an example, they list an RV for let's say 19,999.00 as a sales price or "clearance" price. However, that price is only valid if you finance with them at their inflated APR. If you want to pay cash or use your own financing you get the MSRP price. So if you're still interested at this point, and agree to their finance rate etc for a "discount" they add on $2,990.00 dollars for "prep", then there's sales tax and DMV fees (which they make up). I say made up DMV fees because it only costs 15 bucks to register a trailer in NY and they charge $300. I called them out on the BS dmv amount and they said "well that's what we charge and what we do is usually mail out a rebate...". Then they want to add on warranty and service packages, so you're now paying about 8 grand over their advertised price. I took delivery on a new unit due to timing of a family vacation and I was extremely disappointed with this dealership. They did not prep ANYTHING on my trailer and surprisingly they do not return my phone calls. I would stear far away from any Meyers RV (Camping World) if I were you. Maybe try Wilkins RV.

Unfortunately, our experience after the sale was marked by repeated delays, unfulfilled commitments, and poor follow-through. Among our concerns were a promised reimbursement check that required repeated requests, questions regarding paid-for protection services, registration-related issues, and a general lack of urgency in resolving customer concerns after the contract was signed. The difference between a good dealership and a bad one is not whether problems arise--it's how they respond when they do. In our case, we felt valued while purchasing the RV but largely ignored afterward. We have maintained documentation of our communications and would strongly encourage prospective buyers to carefully review all paperwork, verify every promised service, and obtain written confirmation of anything discussed verbally. We expected accountability and customer service. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

A&L RV Sales - Johnson City, TN…read more FYI, Service Department at Johnson City, TN Our first exposure with A & L was with the body shop after damage was received during the flood in September 2024. The body shop did communicate to us and complete the body work needed, no issue there. A&L had our RV from 11/24 - 2/25, (current date is 6/11/25) while we were waiting for the body work to be completed, we asked about local warranty service providers. The Service Department said that they could do that work, being an authorized Jayco Service Provider. Here is the list of items we needed fixed under warranty: 1.) JBL Sound System not working. 2.) Outdoor storage door lock and tumblers needed to be replaced. 3.) Window Blind needed repair. 4.) Valances on garage windows kept detaching from the wall, not installed correctly. 5.) Patio fencing unlevel and gate not securely closing. 6.) Leak in 1/2-bathroom sink. 7.) Issue with front slide bowing. 8.) Potential leak within the outer storage. There was multiple back and forth text messages, phone calls, and finally a video call to assist explain one of the issues (#6). We aren't even sure if it was fixed appropriately. It became apparent to us that the Service Department does not prefer to answer the phone or call you back; their mode of operation is email or text. Then the day of pick-up, imagine our surprised to see our RV along the wall by the Sales Department, we had no way of doing a final inspection as the slide could not be extended. We immediately noticed that the locks for the outside storage doors (#2) had not been replaced. It took three technicians to find the tumblers that were missing and how to install them, 1 1/2 hours later, we were able to leave and have the RV transported back to its location. Again, ABSOLUTELY NO CHECKLIST REPORT PROVIDED OR INSPECTION ALLOWED PRIOR TO TRANSPORT! Once at our location we were finally able to open the RV and extend the slides. Here is the fun part! Apart from one item (#3), nothing was repaired! Continuing our experience: Visit #1 - Brought out new (out of box) JBL Sound System - still not working. Visit #2 - Brought out second JBL Sound System - still not working. But the technician was able to repair the outer storage leak. Visit #3 - New Service Technician Manager came out and determined that the initial "technician" wired the system incorrectly - still not working. Visit #4 - Technician never showed up; after having to leave a message with the service department, we received an email explaining that the technician was not told about this service ticket and forgot his toolbox keys, when can we reschedule? Visit #5 - TBD!!!!!!!!! Avoid the Johnston City Service Department at all costs!!!! So much to say about how to improve, please answer your phones, supply your customer with a service repair report, allow your customer to obtain access to visually inspect the repairs prior to them leaving the shop, actually do the required warranty work, do not ask customer to trail back and forth the RV when you are responsible for the unacceptable incomplete work orders. As someone who has been in sales for over 39 years, I can't even put my head around the treatment and lack of service we received and if providing this type of customer service, I'd probably be fired or out of business. Finally, at to the point of utter frustration and I have left a message for the owner. Let's see if I get a call back or an email!! Wish me luck!!

We were told with our second camper the department was much better now and would not have an issue. Our roof on the slide out has a dip and water pours in when we close it if it rains. Told they all have a little water . . So now we get up there and push the water off. Had it winterized while we had it there. Pipe broke. We fixed it but they did GIVE us the pipe for FREE. Now we have a pin hole size leak on the roof. Told them where it was. Nope they didn't find it. And paid to have them look at it. So again we fixed it. Was told if there was anything we need to call since we already fixed it. That was their reaching out to us ... Now we paid for the extra warranty and this is only on this camper not our first one. Make sure you and your spouse can fix things or don't buy from here.

The owner was aware of this and expected us to spend part of our 3-day trip going out of our way to pump out the tanks, which really cut into our plans. The bow thrusters didn't work, which made it extremely hard (and sometimes unsafe) for us as beginners to handle such a long canal boat through locks and docks. On top of that, the bikes listed in the rental weren't there, and instead of the promised refrigerator, we were given a cooler with ice. While the owner did have explanations for these issues, he never gave us a heads-up before we arrived, nor did he offer any partial or full refund. Between the missing amenities, broken equipment, and the sewage issue, the whole trip fell far short of what was advertised, and we returned the boat after one day. I had a AC unit installed 7/20/25 under warranty everything was processed quickly. They installed a Furrion 15K which is different than the Coleman-Mack that was original AC unit in RV. In the large ceiling vent there is a styrofoam block that is not compatible with new unit. Found out it's not included in the install. Tech modified the styrofoam to try to make it work now one ceiling vent doesn't work and AC is extremely loud and seems to be some vibration. All this was mentioned to tech during installation but what we mentioned to them they just ignored the problem and blew us off. A tech came out on 8/1/25 to look at unit his finding were the styrofoam block is not the compatible for the new Furrion AC that was installed and the vibration could be the roof unit probably need some shims. There were issues with installation after installing it would run cold then start blowing warm air it took about 5 hours total. Techs left said job was complete and issue was resolved, but in 20 minutes after they left it started blowing warm air again. When we got to site (90 minute drive away) and started setting up we found the bed to be broken and unusable (support structure had collapsed). Called customer service and were told to bring it back to a site that was going to be closed until two days later (we had a four day rental). When I pointed that out, we were told they'd call to arrange repairs on site for two days later. Left with no options, we had to shore up the bed to make it usable, taking a good portion of our first day. The next morning we discovered that the grey water tank leaked (water just ran out- confirmed when tried to run water into tank to flush sewage hose). Privacy curtain missing, many curtain attachments missing/broken and many other issues. Never got a call for repairs and when we dropped it off, we got pushback on items purchased to make bed marginally useful. In an epic display of bad customer service, were then told by manager (Andrea) that it obviously didn't ruin our vacation as we didn't bring it back Monday Pointed out to her that, while technically we were able to adjust sleeping (my wife slept up forward) and showers (fortunately the campground had showers) that was not what we paid for. We then asked her if she'd sleep in that bed and she admitted she wouldn't. Still no budging on making things right and were told to talk to Cruise America customer service (next step). We've rented from Cruise America multiple times in the past and have always had a great experience but I don't know if we'll be back with them again- absolutely will NOT use this location again and strongly recommend others avoid as well.
