She initially quoted me $150 for a yard of black mulch. Then when I came back in about 10 mins later, she corrected herself by swearing and dropping F bombs. Very professional! Then I had to drive there a total of THREE times because when she works she does not answer the phone. And I mean for HOURS of not answered the phone. And she does not return messages. My rocks were delivered today. She completely mis-calculated the amount I needed. She doesn't know what she is doing. You would think you would train your employee how to calculate how much of an item someone would need. You do work at a stone yard!!! And the paper for the calculations was sitting right in front of her and she didn't use it. I gave her the square footage, well actually a bit more than I should have needed and the depth. Raul JR, was unfortunately not working, he showed me the paper that she needed to use for 3" of depth versus 2. Well I am still about 3/4 of a yard short on the rock I needed because of HER miscalculation. I am so pissed! I paid a $100 delivery fee and I don't have enough. I called another local stone yard to see how much I should have ordered just to verify her inaccuracy. The only good part was the delivery driver was super nice. That's it. I would not recommend this place at all!

However, in this case I feel compelled to let people know the terrible customer service I received From Coronado Stone. I'm sure they normally deal with bigger jobs, but I would expect them to treat all customers the same. My mom paid $3,300 for material to Coronado stone, so it wasn't a terribly little job either. The sales rep, Alicia, seemed nice enough and helped us place the order. We were told it would take 6 weeks and later they gave us the delivery date. We set up for our contractor to be there that morning and start the job, no rock was delivered. I called later that day and they couldn't even find my mom in their system. I had to send them a copy of my contract, mind you the job was prepaid. After talking to a few reps the order was finally put through. Then when the order finally arrived, the amount on the wall cap was off by 47 pieces. They wanted to charge me another delivery fee for their mistake. Thank goodness I saved all of my emails with Alicia which proved that I gave the correct measurements and she put in the wrong amount for the order. When I sent them the emails they took off the delivery fee for the mistake they made. But the contractor had to come back again, at my moms expense. The final disappointment came when I called them to come pick up the 6 large crates. Alicia told me they would be picked up by the company at a decreased return rate of $3.50 each rather then $7, if we brought them back ourselves. She showed me on the contract we signed where it states the same thing. Now I'm calling to have them picked up and they told me it is not their policy unless they are doing another job for us, which is ridiculous because this is a single residence and it's obvious we wouldn't be needing them for another stone delivery and it doesn't say that on the contract. Some how I was just supposed to know this little piece of information even thought it doesn't say that anywhere and I wasn't told that either. If you are a big company this might be the right place for you since they might value your repeat business and honor what they claim they will do. But if you are doing a home improvement for your own home I strongly urge you to use another company. 3 issues in one small job. No skin off there back but it was a pain to deal with all there errors, not to mention the extra money it cost us. We had a few issues with our yard where some of the grass started dying, and LTS came out literally…read morethe next day to take care of it. They made everything right without charging us anything and even replaced the sections of grass that had died. It could have been from the weather since that spot gets more sunlight, but they still went above and beyond by adding extra sprinklers to make sure everything had full coverage. They finished the work within two days and left the area clean. Their team was super professional, efficient, and clearly cared about their work. The quality is great and our yard still looks amazing almost a year later. None of the concrete has cracked, the retaining wall is solid, and the small wall by the house that protects it from the sprinklers is holding up perfectly. Our patio cover has made it through the rainy season with no issues at all, and the drainage works exactly how it should. Overall, LTS did a beautiful job, paid attention to every detail, and we could not be happier with how everything turned out. Highly recommend!
