The nursery is beautiful, well-stocked, and had a great variety of flowers to choose from. They also had a nice sale on vegetable plants, which made it easy to pick up a few extras without breaking the budget. Since I'm new to gardening, I wasn't quite sure where to start, so I spent some time researching plants as I walked around. One thing to keep in mind is that there isn't staff available throughout the nursery to answer questions, and quite a few plants didn't have labels. If you're looking for specific guidance, I'd recommend calling ahead or doing a little research while you're there. Overall, the prices were fair, the parking lot was a decent size, and the selection was fantastic. I enjoyed taking my time exploring everything and will definitely be back to see what new plants they have in stock! A great spot for plant lovers, especially if you enjoy browsing and discovering new varieties.

But when the guy brought it he told me that he wouldn't put it in the hole that I dug, even though they told me they would put it anywhere I wanted. *THERE WAS NO MENTION OF THEM NOT PUTTING IT IN A HOLE!* I even said to the salesperson that I had to hurry home and get it dug. They had SEVERAL OPPORTUNITIES to let me know that they in fact WOULD NOT put it anywhere I wanted, as they told me they would. I'm a disabled person who had a stroke there's absolutely no way that I can move this thing by myself. This is where the delivery driver left it. So they totally lied to me about it and took my money and left me with no way to get this in the hole. I really liked the place because it had a nice selection but their customer service is poor. 2 of the 3 employees that I interacted with had bad attitudes and were totally unprofessional. I would steer far far away from this place. I wouldn't have bought this tree had I known that they weren't going to do what they said they would do

I had always glanced over this location, and on this day happened to be in the market for some soil. The lot was thriving, not too crowded. People were looking about and soon a staff member took the time to show me some of their soil options and potting mixes. I settled on the organic palm and cactus mix. It was not dry upon opening, which I'm glad it was not, so far it's proving to be a fairly good quality. There's still some leftover in the yard. I saw many plants there. They had some pink aloe vera, along with a wide selection of succulents, which was nice to see. I had my eye set on something a little bit different though, an elephant bush. I knew they had some because some of the arrangements included elephant bush. So I just had to ask!Well, to my surprise they were more than happy to give me a longer tour of the southern part of the nursery, where they had far more sizes, big and small. I got to see some gigantic ones that I never expected to encounter in larger pots. Thank you Vic! It goes without saying I was impressed. Speaking about Vic, I just wanna say, many of the staff members were welcoming and went above and beyond to give me what I wanted. I was really impressed with Vic's extensive knowledge on house plants and his ability to help me find the size of this wonderful plant. Where I feel that most sales people would push you to buy a particular one item, Vic offered me choices, which I appreciate 100%. It's safe to say that type of salesmanship demands respect, and I will probably be coming back when I'm ready. Outside of my own personal experience, I noticed they have a variety of pots and fertilizers for all your growing needs. Always nice to see an assortment of pots and accessories for the home garden folk. Furthermore, Vic recommended a fantastic product as an addition to my watering routine, which within days has brought tremendous results. The plants absolutely love it, it amazing to think that this trip offered the plant, the service, and now the reassurance that if ever needed, they will be there to help answering any questions. That's all folks. If you have a problem with your project, there is no doubt they have the personnel to assist. Was a quick trip for me, but be prepared for an assortment of plant species and offerings.

We briefly discussed what I was looking to do in my backyard, and I asked if someone could come out for a site visit to see the space and better understand the project. Anthony scheduled an appointment with me for Monday, August 10 at 11:00 AM. I texted him my address along with several inspiration photos beforehand. Unfortunately, 11:00 AM came and went with no sign of Anthony and no call or text letting me know he was running late or needed to reschedule. I reached out to him to ask if we were still on for that day and never received a response. I still haven't heard from him or anyone else from the company. I understand that schedules change and things come up, but completely missing a scheduled appointment and then not responding at all is disappointing and unprofessional. I'm giving one star because they were initially quick to respond to my inquiry, but unfortunately, the communication ended there.

Our plans had several interesting species of drought-tolerant plants. We wanted to work with a company that was affordable and had extensive experience. After doing a lot of searching and asking many questions to just about every local garden center, Arise stood out among the rest. Not only are they fairly priced, but the owner (Rigo) was easy to get a hold of and made sure he provided us with all the plant species we asked for. He also delivered them to us with a 24 to 48 hour turn-around time which was important because we needed time to get the plant order in the ground before the rainy season. Literally all other local gardening centers in Chino, Montclair, Claremont, etc...were either standard or limited in their selection, or severely overpriced. Arise is a local business worth supporting because they are in touch with what other gardening centers are failing to provide do-it-yourself landscapers: great advice, accessibility, and the best prices.

Horrible quality and even worse customer service!…read more I was extremely disappointed with my order from plantclearance.com (SoCal Nursery). I received an Azalea that arrived severely stressed and completely dehydrated. I reached out to customer service "George" expecting a replacement plant or a refund, but his response was "Just water it." For the price paid, I expected a healthy plant, not a resuscitation project. Telling a customer to water a plant that arrived in this condition is a complete brush-off. I told them never mind, then, and to just cancel and refund the order. George replied "Ok sure ill check to see what we can do for you. I had called the nursery that is located about seven minutes from my house. It's not Parkview. I asked them if they had the particular root stock and tree in stock. Their response basically was we have that variety of tree Santa Rosa plum but we don't know what route stocks we have. I said can you look and tell me. Their answer was no if you want to see you can come down and look. After hanging up the phone and disbelief, I called Parkview nursery on Chicago Avenue and again I got the outstanding service that I'm used to there. I told the gentleman who answered the phone what I was looking for he said let him check. He came back in about a minute and told me that they had that rootstock, but asked me why I wanted that particular type of rootstock. I explained to my situation and the type of soil and he recommended a better root stock that I was not familiar with. I had even gone on the Dave Wilson Nursery the supplier of fruit trees and it didn't catch my attention. He was absolutely right the root stock that he recommended was 100 times better and they also had that in stock. Needless to say, I got in my car drove the 35 minutes. It was greeted with outstanding customer service by every employee I ran into. If you are looking for a true outstanding nursery, this is the place to come. They have caring employees who really want your landscaping/gardening adventure to be successful.
