Mezza opened earlier this year to rave reviews.

Loved everything about this new Lebanese restaurant! There's dine-in, take-out and event-hosting. Friendly helpful staff, small tables, quick service. Hearty flavorful traditional Lebanese food. The spinach fatayer and ground beef fatayer---flavored w/ Lebanese seven spices, pomegranate molasses, tomato and onion---were perfect. We also had the kafta kebab wrap: ground lamb and beef w/ labneh, pickled onions and tahini, and the chicken shawarma wrap, braised chicken w/ tabbouleh, labneh, pickled onion perfectly grilled. We took home a couple different kinds of stuffed grape leaves, za'atar manoushe ( savory flatbread) and baklava --and should have taken home more! Mezza is open during daytime hours. It'd be great if they offered evening meals, for concert goers at the nearby Waterville Opera House. Regardless, we'll be back to Mezza.

I got small/mezze orders of tabouli, dolmas and hummus.

Great food, warm friendly service. Authentic Lebanese cuisine in wilds of Maine (well, Waterville isn't wild, but near the wilderness).

This spot is a gem! We read reviews and knew it was going to be delicious, but still were blown…read moreaway. The site is transformed inside from the driving range outside and has fantastic food and drink. We got a specialty coffee and mint tea to start. My coffee was good, but overshadowed by an artistic and extra special mint drink. So desperately trying to reproduce at home, this is not to miss. Fresh mint and wonderfully steeped with sugar to smooth. From there- wings were on our table. As with everyone's input we devoured these as a special recipe. Charred perfectly and spiced with extra lemon and zip. As advertised- spectacular! Lastly we got a salad and then the lamb with cous cous. So tender, great sweetness to contrast the somewhat spicy wings. I have never been to Morocco but felt like I did for this meal. Definitely cooked with tradition in mind and expertly to get fall off the bone brilliance. Service was exemplary for a holiday weekend. Even entertaining as funny quip showed great care to the patrons. All food was served quick and with care. Highly rated from me and my guest - come hungry. Portions are great (even a side Misto salad was large). Need to come back!

OUTSTANDING !!! So nice to find an authentic ethnic restaurant in a small town…read more The Tagine we had was delicious. The meat was fall off the bone for The Lamb Shank entree. Will return many times in the future until we've had everything on the menu.
