The food was fabulous. Such a quaint place. Had decor as if we were in Marrakesh. Bright and comfortable. Service was excellent. We had garlic wings that were awesome. The prices were very reasonable.

The restaurant is located in a driving range. So you may think you are in the wrong place. Once inside the views of the mountain are great and we caught a beautiful sunset in this evening. The restaurant is decorated nicely with bright colors and Moroccan decor. We started with the wing appetizers. They were crisp and delicious with flavors of lemon and garlic. For mains we got one of the lamb shank tagines that had apricots and prunes. It was served over couscous. The lamb literally fell off the bone and the sweetness from the dried fruits was nice. It was supposed to have a bit of spice but that was absent. I expected it to be served right from a tangine but alas it was not. It would have been a nice touch to see it served that way. The other main we got was the kafta meatballs in tomato sauce with eggs. It reminded me of shakshuka. The sauce was very flavorful but the meatballs appeared to not be homemade but rather like those pre packed mini ones from the grocery store .This was disappointing as the texture was not the best. This dish was served in a tagine and was bubbling . The tagine was fun to see. . They do have beer and wine and sodas. They also have many hot teas and coffee. I got the mint tea which was flavorful with fresh mint. It was served in a traditional Moroccan cup and pot with homemade sugar cubes. Desert was flourless chocolate cake which was like eating a dark chocolate candy bar. Very rich and served with a raspberry sauce which I would have preferred they strain so you don't get the raspberry seeds which het stuck in your teeth.. A dollop of whipped cream would be a great addition. Overall it was a nice meal and a great way to try a different culture's cuisine. The hostess/waitress was very pleasant and open to any questions you might have had. It's worth the t

We stopped in to hit a bucket of balls at the driving range and discover this place yesterday. Food was awesome, service was great. We had the Chicken Wings, Fries and a Moroccan Coffee. Owner came out to make the coffee, super nice guy. We'll definitely be back. Awesome little hidden gem and definitely a great change of pace from all the other restaurants in the area. They also sever beer and wine so good date night or lunch spot.

Paprika's Paprikas Moorish Grilled Wings $19.95 (Yelp menu price), Lamb Royal $25.95 (Yelp menu price), Nzaha Lamb $25.95 (Yelp menu price)

Great food! Three of us order different dishes and all were wonderful. Attentive service. Tasty desserts. A gem for Bridgton.

The service was amazing and we always love the look of the decor which pays homage to the stables it was created out of years ago. When seated I had no problem that I wasn't seen until 5 minutes passed, or that I was not handed a drink menu until I asked for one. What I do have a problem with however is being treated differently to other patrons for no apparent reason. Visiting this town as a person of Latino descent has been a joy so far but at the Black Horse Tavern I finally understood why I was warned about coming to Bridgton. After the hostess sat us down, we waited about 5 minutes to see hour waitress, as she approached our table she immediately asked if we wanted drinks or appetizers, my boyfriend asked for a drink menu which seemed to bother her. After receiving the drink menu we waited another 5 minutes to then be met with another waitress because our original one passed us off to someone else who ended up taking our drink and entree orders. The original waitress did eventually return with our said beverages she slammed them down in front of my boyfriend and I. The only reason I know the waitress's name is Shannon is because I heard her greet another table and because it was on my receipt. We carried on and made the best of our situation as we enjoyed what we could of our dinner but even as she returned with the bill, she slammed it in front of my boyfriend yet again and continued having pleasant conversations with another group of people. As we left we didn't even get a "thanks for coming" or a "goodnight" as we left the restaurant.

This is the place they couldn't stop talking about. I brought my friends from New Orleans. They loved it. It has a fun clean, sports bar vibe inside. That is mixed with the whole sea theme, which makes this a unique place. The food isn't cheap, but it is high quality and filling. They have one of the best clam chowders any of us have ever had. It is rich and creamy, but light and lemony at the same time. The service is great. Parking isn't bad. Overall, we leave here happy every single time.

She ordered the clam basket with fries and coleslaw for the paltry sum of $38.00. Seriously? What are the clams made of? Gold? Diamonds? She also had dessert. Cheesecake for $9.00. In my opinion, these prices are "highway robbery". I've lived in Windham for years, and because Bob's is the only seafood restaurant in town, they get away with charging "tourist prices". 10-05-24 Review Remember the seminal television series "Cheers," where everyone knows your name, and they're always glad you came? That's a complete 180 in contrast to Bob's. They couldn't care less about who you are and why you're there. My server tonight was Haley. Her focus was on taking selfies of herself and being coy with the boys. As her customer, she shows zero interest. It was like she couldn't wait for her shift to end. That said, Bob's fare is mediocre and overpriced. I won't be back. Two thumbs down.

It is located in Maine but was only around 15minutes away as Conway is at the border. The establishment is located in small town of Fryeburg and has plaza with some parking available. Place seemed pretty busy when we came but luckily we were able to be seated right-away. Inside is spacious and looks like a tavern with interesting mix of sports, arcade, hunting and seafood decorations. There is also live lobster in water tank. We ordered some raw bar with dozen oysters, dozen clams, and 1/2 lb shrimp. The oyster was good size and flavorful. Shrimp was large and great as well. Clam was a bit smaller and was not as good as the others. We also got some bang bang shrimp and 1lb boiled lobster. The bang bang shrimp was pretty good. Pretty much what i expected in terms of flavor. Boiled lobster was tasty. Nicely boiled and relatively easy to deshell. Overall the food was good. Service was good and the staff were attentive. Overall it's a solid place for seafood/Mexican fusions. They also do live music on Wednesday and do special offer for Mondays through Thursday i.e Oysters half off on Monday. Seems like a bar where locals come hang out and grab food and drinks. Price was definitely on higher side. With exception to Shrimps which were actually not too bad comparatively as they were 2.50 each or $25 for 1 lb.
