This spot is a gem! We read reviews and knew it was going to be delicious, but still were blown away. The site is transformed inside from the driving range outside and has fantastic food and drink. We got a specialty coffee and mint tea to start. My coffee was good, but overshadowed by an artistic and extra special mint drink. So desperately trying to reproduce at home, this is not to miss. Fresh mint and wonderfully steeped with sugar to smooth. From there- wings were on our table. As with everyone's input we devoured these as a special recipe. Charred perfectly and spiced with extra lemon and zip. As advertised- spectacular! Lastly we got a salad and then the lamb with cous cous. So tender, great sweetness to contrast the somewhat spicy wings. I have never been to Morocco but felt like I did for this meal. Definitely cooked with tradition in mind and expertly to get fall off the bone brilliance. Service was exemplary for a holiday weekend. Even entertaining as funny quip showed great care to the patrons. All food was served quick and with care. Highly rated from me and my guest - come hungry. This little café has a beautiful sunset at night that you can see from sitting at the bar. Chandra was our server and bartender last night. She was so knowledgeable on all of the dishes especially on what was gluten-free and extremely friendly. We enjoyed great conversation and learned a lot about different foods there. The wine was very good also . I was too full to finish my chicken dish took half home and took a dessert home. Everything was delicious. I wish we had tried this restaurant sooner. It's a great find. The restaurant is located in a driving range. So you may think you are in the wrong place. Once inside the views of the mountain are great and we caught a beautiful sunset in this evening. The restaurant is decorated nicely with bright colors and Moroccan decor. We started with the wing appetizers. They were crisp and delicious with flavors of lemon and garlic. For mains we got one of the lamb shank tagines that had apricots and prunes. It was served over couscous. The lamb literally fell off the bone and the sweetness from the dried fruits was nice. It was supposed to have a bit of spice but that was absent. I expected it to be served right from a tangine but alas it was not. It would have been a nice touch to see it served that way. The other main we got was the kafta meatballs in tomato sauce with eggs. It reminded me of shakshuka. The sauce was very flavorful but the meatballs appeared to not be homemade but rather like those pre packed mini ones from the grocery store .This was disappointing as the texture was not the best. This dish was served in a tagine and was bubbling . The tagine was fun to see. . They do have beer and wine and sodas. They also have many hot teas and coffee. I got the mint tea which was flavorful with fresh mint. It was served in a traditional Moroccan cup and pot with homemade sugar cubes. Desert was flourless chocolate cake which was like eating a dark chocolate candy bar. Very rich and served with a raspberry sauce which I would have preferred they strain so you don't get the raspberry seeds which het stuck in your teeth.. We stopped in to hit a bucket of balls at the driving range and discover this place yesterday. Food was awesome, service was great. We had the Chicken Wings, Fries and a Moroccan Coffee. Surprised by how delicious the food was. The lamb dishes are excellent, chicken dishes delightful and the appetizers were also delicious. Service was very good and the ambience was surprisingly nice inside. There is a golf driving range and bocci ball place behind them, and a nice deck for outdoor dining. We enjoyed our dinner so much, we went back for lunch! Well, the moorish chicken sandwich was epic, and you must have extra of the garlic coleslaw to stuff in the sandwich and take some home! Yay finally had a chance to visit this place recently. There is free street parking in front of the restaurant, making the pickup process easy. It is a takeout only place for now. I originally tried my order on its website, but you cannot pay online. I then tried my order via the Yelp app. Unsurprisingly, the prices from Yelp order is higher than its website. It's common practice (higher charges on a third party platform), so I was fine with it. The Yelp app gave me an estimate on the order time, but didn't provide completion updates. By the time I got there, my food was already ready and waiting for me. The owner (I think) greeted me warmly. The food is very good! The price isn't "cheap", but you are supporting local businesses. I have to say the entrees are on the sweeter side. I don't normally have Moroccan food, so I'm not necessarily used to the taste. The Paprika's Moorish Grilled Wings were so so good! 5~stars for Bridgton's new Moroccan restaurant! The vibe is so tight it's as if we walked into a souk in Marrakesh. This is a pro chef~ his attention to detail, his warm hospitality and best of all his fresh, authentic and delicious food. I went with a group of 8 and we pretty much ordered one of everything. The portions were very generous, colorful plates piled high with lamb shank, couscous, tender roast chicken, beet salad, bruschetta, spicy mussels with crusty bread...my favorite dish was the seafood paella with shrimp, mussels, clams and haddock in a rich broth over peas and saffron rice. We ordered desserts for the table to share: a creamy and dreamy Amaretto~almond cake, lemon cake and a super dense flourless chocolate cake. All made in~house and all were seriously DELICIOUS. Cafe Paprika was really good! The restaurant was super accommodating for our puppy and set us up in a great spot on their deck (which has amazing views!). The service was 10/10 and the food was just as good. Looking forward to going back and trying out more of the menu. A friend suggested I try Paprika because she knows how incredibly picky I am about restaurants, having worked in them for years. I was 100% pleased with my lunch last week! I ordered the Moroccan Burger, still slightly pink in the center, topped with onions and mixed greens and served on a nice thin focaccia. The side of honey slaw -- OMG -- perfect crunchy complement! My friend ordered the beet salad which was even better than one I could make at home. Beets were perfectly roasted and delicately dressed. The owner told us he decided to NOT reopen the dining room after the ups and downs of the Covid pandemic because he couldn't find enough reliable help and decided instead to continue to offer his amazing food to the community on a takeout basis only. Cafe Paprika is a wonderful surprise! Had no idea there was a Moroccan restaurant just a short distance away from Providence. Definitely worth the drive! Do not be fooled by this casual little cafe. The chef/s are experts in their craft. If you're not into heavy, complex meals, I would highly recommend getting (from the appetizer menu): "Paprika's Moorish Grilled Wings $10.95 Tossed with olive oil, garlic, lemon and Mediterranean herbs. (everybody's favorite)" Finger lickin' Good! The succulent meat is fall-off-the-bone tender, while the skin is slightly charred and crispy--all bathed in the mouthwatering mildly tangy sauce. You will never view wings the same way ever again. I recently ordered a side of Roasted Potatoes (seasoned with garlic and herbs) to go with the wings which paired perfectly. Some Moroccan dishes tend to be heavy and fancily dressed up with complex herbs and spices and different kinds of dried fruits and nuts, which (for me) can be overwhelming, but nevertheless interesting if you are tired of eating the same old simple comfort foods. If you're in an adventurous mood and want to try something dressy and fancy, I would recommend (from the Moorish Meat Dishes menu): "Mrouzia Almond Chicken $16.95 Slow Braised chicken leg with caramelized onions, raisins, Moroccan spices & Roasted almonds over cinnamon couscous or rice." This is heavenly. My husband loved the lightly Roasted Tilapia, though I'm more accustomed to overcooked, meatier fish. A friend enjoyed her Lemon Chicken Tagine; I took a bite and thought it was okay. Guess everyone has a different palate. Don't forget dessert! The chocolate, almond, and lemon cakes are delicious. I don't know the difference between good and bad Moroccan food. From looking at Yelp, this is good Moroccan. I never had Moroccan food elsewhere. From giving this place a shot, Moroccan food is not my cup of tea. There wasn't a dish that a particularly enjoyed. The onion in the onion ring was chewy/stringy which made it difficult to get a clean bite from the ring. In hindsight, I should've ate it with knife and fork instead of treating it like finger food. The chicken wing was over 50% charred so it was mainly the char flavor I was tasting. I don't like eating burnt food either. I don't enjoy that flavor at all! Paella was watery and salty with a hint of fishyness. The fishyness was a turnoff. Chicken tangine flavor was good but the chicken thigh was dry. I'm not a fan of dry chicken meat. The service was friendly and on par. That was the best part of the entire experience. As for the bathroom, I smelled like someone smoked in there. Not a fan of smelly bathrooms! read more

Was expecting bolder flavors. The veggie couscous was bland to me and this giant cabbage feels a little lazy to me. Idk if that's authentic but I would prefer it to be cut up more. One of the best things about living in Norwood is that there are lots of great restaurants with food from all over the world. Cafe Paprika is one of them and you can get great Moroccan food here. Parking is a bit trickier due to the location but being Norwood, there is plenty of street parking around the area. It might take you 2 minutes instead of instantly parking like some other places. This is a small place with maybe 7-8 tables for four but ive never had to wait to sit, but I have also never found the place empty. Ive tried various dishes here, but my favorite is the lamb and the appetizer wings. From what Ive been told by the owner (who is a lovely guy), this isnt how they would normally do chicken wings as this is something that they dont normally serve in their country, but it is a way to prepare chicken that he has adapted to wings and it is amazing. I also love their mint tea. Definitely a place worth checking out. A little pricier than some places , but worth it. read more

Piping hot, so deliciously tangy/herby..I absolutely loved the "tagine" dishes. They're these beautifully slow cooked rice or couscous paired with your choice of meat: salmon, white fish, lemon chicken, etc. all of it is cooked together in a mini earthenware tagine pot. The flavors are amazing especially with the olives and onions. Tip: ask for the chilli sauce, I love how it's more on the chunky side. Pairs well with anything. Let's start with 3 1/2 stars. I've been meaning to stop by here, but it isn't really convenient for me and the last time I was in the neighborhood, my friends were too hungry to walk that far down the street. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to stop by for a nice eat in meal in their cozy little space just off the corner where Washington Street is met by Walpole Street and Guild Street. But I picked up a slice of their lemon cake to go. I guess I wasn't the only one of that mindset, since the gentleman taking my order simply grabbed a slice of cake that was packed and ready to go. It was $4.95; $5.30 after tax. In a word, light. Everything about that cake was light - Light cake. Light frosting (relatively, for a non-Chinatown cake). Light lemony-ness. Everything but the price. It was good. It was soft and moist. But I wouldn't quite say it was $5 good given the portion size and its lack of a: Bang! Lemon flavor, in your face, wow factor. But if you disagree (feel free!), given 2 days advance notice, they can make a whole 14 inch cake just for you - 14 slices - for $45. As for me, I might have to plan a special trip out here to try some of the tempting sounding sandwiches off their Artisan Sandwiches menu (available Lunch Time - that's till 4pm). They're closed Sundays, but those sandwiches are available on Saturdays in addition to weekdays. read more

But I'll give a quick list of what I think: - the owner (presumably): very friendly, very passionate about his food; gives great and fair recommendations (both to us and to our next table which I inevitably overheard). Very nice man indeed. - the waitress: attentive service too. ex. when I asked for a paper bag for my bread and she said she could give me a small plastic container, I tried to save it by suggesting wrapping with a napkin. then she pulled a sheet of pastry paper for me. really appreciate little touches like this. - the food: I got the zituone chicken and hub for a lamb leg something - both very tender and flavorful. got choco flourless cake to go; didn't have time to try appetizers. Would definitely return for a proper full course meal. - the atmosphere: place looks a bit dated; there is some exotic-ness in the decor: little tea pots, etc. just not sure why they chose to position themselves as a "cafe" instead of a "restaurant". And at least half the space is assigned for behind the counter area, leaving only about 30 or so seats out front. That's about 8 tables of 4... I mean I'm sure there's a management reason for that, but it makes the place feel more like a lunch place than a dinner place. Doesn't stop ppl from coming though, so they must be doing something right. Personally, again, I don't mind doing lunch/tea (i.e. more casual type of meals) here, but for dinner I would prefer a bit more...personal space, privacy, intimacy...what have you. But in all, the owner-looking gentleman was so pleasant, mild, and welcoming, and food is good, that both hub and I do plan on coming back and try their other dishes! Came here for lunch not too long ago. Cafe Paprika is a cute little storefront in a lovely town. I believe there is only on-street parking, but we were able to park fairly close. We were seated quickly and the staff was attentive. I ordered the Zitoune chicken tagine, and that came with a side of bread. I thought it was very flavorful and the bread was perfect for dipping in the plentiful sauce. I also sampled the Grilled wing appetizer. I normally don't like wings, but I have to say that these were very flavorful, however VERY garlicky. And finally, the side of roasted potatoes were also delicious: crispy on the edges and soft on the inside and sliced thin. The person I was with ordered the roasted tilapia. She thought it was under-cooked but I thought it was very tender and delicious. For dessert, I had the Almond Amaretto cake... wonderful. I would go back just for the cake (and I wanted to try the lemon cake as well). Overall, the few items I sampled have me curious about what else I may be missing! I'll be back! read more

I ordered the minted beets without cheese and the fried mushrooms. Ordering online was easy. Location had plenty of nearby parking. The portions were very large-- half the amount would have been just fine for a portion. The food tasted homemade and delicious. Wonderful use of spices. Yessss. I may have tricked my very food-conservative older white parents into coming here at the end of a looong day. Not only was the food EXACTLY what I was craving, expertly created, but Lahson (owner) helped my mom through the menu and helped us all laugh out loud. The atmosphere reminded me of how I used to feel as a kid when we'd go to a restaurant where we knew everybody and I would get to hang out in the kitchen. Parents each LOVED their food, which I know because my dad didn't speak (or breathe?) between when it arrived and when his was completely gone, and my mom kept asking how they get certain subtle flavors to come out. Best part- we all just got to take a deep breath and forget how busy the world is for a while in this warm and welcoming space. I can't give this place more compliments. The BEST chicken wings I've had in a VERY long time. So juicy and yet not too heavy or messy. The Lamb Royal is just as succulent as described, falls right off the bone. (save the sauce from the wings for the white rice!). The Honey Slaw made me like Coleslaw for the first time ever! The slaw is a healthier alternative as well using honey and mustard instead of mayo. The Moroccan mint has fresh mint and is a perfect cap to a meal. For appetizer I ordered, paprika's Mediterranean grilled wings, my picky-eating boyfriend told me this might be the best wings he ever ordered. I can totally understand why this is everyone's favorite. I ordered Eggplant All'Arrabiata, I thought this meal was very good, there was a lot of rice! Cafe Paprika makes my favorite sandwich on the planet: the Chicken Milanese. I tried it once years ago and have been hooked ever since. It is consistent and delicious every single time and served with a cole slaw (that tastes like it is tossed in a sort of honey mustard sauce.) The food is so perfectly crafted with great attention to detail, so expect to wait at least 15-20 minutes if you call ahead. This isn't a bad thing; just know this ahead so you don't drag a business through the mud over a first world complaint. The customer service is always (and I mean always) pleasant.
