Myriam and Liz gave me a full-blown explanation of what went into each one of the items on their shelf that morning. They don't have a set menu because they carry different items each day. Hence they only carry a handful of pastry varieties each day, and make it to perfection. Quality over quantity- thats the way to go. You cant go wrong with anything you pick. After getting to know whats in each of the items I decided to try out the Raspberry Rebanada. I can tell you this, the pastry chef has perfected the Ultimate sweet-to-buttery ratio. Red velvet cake and cream cheese combination topped with tart raspberry flavor leaves a zesty aftertaste that makes you want more and more. My favorite has been the Coyoltzin because the meat is tender and juicy. I also love that they bring salsas to the table. I like the chiles with oil and vinegar that they make.
