I showed him a picture of what I want and he proceeded to stop and call Luis and explain to Luis what it was that I wanted, they told me that what I was looking for was for them to Stain my concrete floor. I said ok, you're the professionals go for it. After they were done, I called Luis to complain and say , hey this is not what I wanted, this looks itching like the picture. Luis has a couple of excuses up his sleeves and proceeded to say that because of my foundations imperfections the acid accumulated in certain spots and he a different reaction. I said ok well I wish I would've been told, he said no worries, I can fix this for you for another couple of grand, I said fine, just get it right. He promised to get it right , and of course it came out wrong with some more imperfections. Needless to say, they had to re do it and on the third try, they still couldn't get it right. I wish they would've not taken the job from the get go, now it's been 2 months and I still don't have furniture nor the fridge inside the house. 2 weeks after they lay a new coat of metallic epoxy, I moved the stove to reconnect the gas line and while I did that, the floor is heavily scratched because of the stove, after they told me that with the coat they lay on it it would be scratch resistant. Smh it has been a complete nightmare and they want more money from me as well. This was my experience with the company, unfortunately it did not go so well

The dam's spillway had to be replaced and the entire driveway was destroyed through the process. Not only did they do an exceptional job setting the grade, they dug out a section and re-packed to ensure proper compaction. Fun people to know. He and his crew not only resealed the driveway but also repaired some areas along the edges. They we not the least expensive choice, but like pop said...you get what you pay for.

He said he would pull up the old sidewalk/steps on 9/9/2021 and replace on 9/10/2021. I made him aware that I didn't want the shape of the sidewalk changed. He did the whole thing on 9/9/2021, changed the shape of the sidewalk and charged me an additional $500 for extra cement. The surface of the section closest to the parking pad was not finished. When he came back out several days later he said it looked that way because the cement had not dried. I know that was a lie because that section got the most sun and the shady areas were dry. Small chunks of concrete were all over the yard. He had to have seen this before he left on the 9th. He blamed it on the cement truck company and did shovel up most of it. He also dug a small trench from the sidewalk to my neighbor's (who sits lower) so that excess rain water would pour into my neighbors yard. I was horrified and filled the trench up with dirt after Antenor left. I would hesitate to use Concrete R Us again and would not refer him to any friend or neighbor.

Antenor came out to our home, discussed what we wanted for the project end result, contributed great suggestions we had not thought about, and had an estimate on my desk within 24 hours. The Business relationship with Concrete R Us, from the first call to the completion of the job, was seamless. We worked with Antenor exclusively as the Project Manager, and he was very knowledgeable and great at getting back to us with any questions we had throughout the process (whether before the project, during, or after). We had some unique requests as well, and they were able to fulfill those without a problem Antenor enthusiasm and responsiveness was much more impressive than the others. He did everything that he said he would. Their price estimates are based on doing the job right...and not cutting corners. You can tell they value quality over short term gains. Overall, Concrete R Us employees were professional, easy to talk to, and definitely the one of the most trustworthy and reputable companies we found after searching through the options out there. We hired Mr. Lewis from Neighbors Home Remodeling to do a garage addition with an upstairs…read moreapartment, and we paid everything up front to him in stages as the project went along, as we had agreed upon in our initial contract. He abandoned us and left the project unfinished, with many things left undone that we had previously paid for. We now have a lien on our property for insulation that was installed early on, and another outstanding bill for countertops. We had to pay to re-pave our driveway to replace concrete that he had removed, also that we had already paid for. That was another $11,000 out of our pocket, just for beginners. That doesn't include the workers he did not pay during the time he was on our project. We had to hire people on our own to finish the project, so we are out of pocket approximately $40,000. He also did not pay the electrician or the plumber. He has made no effort to remedy this situation with us.

We were informed on March 28th that we will receive a follow-up as discussed. Fast forward 12 days later we were sent a text message stating they followed up on March 1,3,13,28, but the last response we received was to (BEAR WITH THEM) for follow-up. So we basically reminded LB Floor and Bath that it's not the customers responsibility to chase the company down. Our view is if you want the job then follow-up with the customer, if the job is not big enough, like remodeling the entire bathroom, just say it! I've reviewed bathroom remodeling company's that state up front, minimum job $3000 to $6000 dollars. My thought process is that our project was not yielding enough revenue for the company so they worked on a larger project until the down-time allotted room for them to follow back up with us.

He responded to me via text and came to inspect the job, gave us a quote a few days later and had his very talented guys start working a few days later since we had the tiles and supplies ready to go. They did an incredible job pulling the original old tile and vinyl off the floors, made sure the concrete underneath was level and installed the new ceramic tiles. They had the whole job demo'd and redone in 4 days! It was over 500 square feet and included the entrance, kitchen, laundry area and bathroom! Everything was done professionally and on time. The guys came by 8:30am every morning! It was so nice to have guys you could rely on and that's so rare dealing with other contractors. They were so great that we bought or made them lunch every day! Highly recommend Leo and his guys. Only thing you should expect is you will need to purchase and carry over the supplies for the job. There is a possibility that you will get supplies you don't need. Since we didn't know we had solid concrete in good condition under the floors until after the demo was done and didn't want to delay the work, so we bought and transported over 1000 pounds of concrete boards and then had to return them which was no easy feat! Other then that you couldn't ask for a better experience! Thanks Leo! We are looking forward to doing additional tile projects! Did I mention they did the kitchen first so we could use it right away! A-1 just completed a very small project for me to fill in some voids in a driveway, we were selling…read moreour home and the first-time home buyers were very concerned about the wash out around the driveway. There are DOZENS of companies performing mudjacking/void filling/concrete leveling in town, and I think I called nearly all of them. Of the three or four that actually called back and gave me pricing, Jay was the only one who would take on such a small job without charging me a full daily rate. The work (in total, including setup and cleanup) took literally 30 minutes, I think it took longer to drive to my house one way than to actually fill the voids. I feel like I paid a whole lot for 30 minutes, but a heck of a lot less than every other company's daily rate. The crew (Mark) actually leveled a section of the driveway that I didn't even notice to be out of level while he was out there. Everyone had great communication - answered the phone, returned messages, called on the way, called on site... - which is worth a lot! Not everyone is looking to do tiny jobs, but Jay and A1 are basically the only game in town for that, but if I had a larger job (and I might) I'd just call A1. They'll actually call back, come out to quote, give you a reasonable price and communicate with you throughout the process. And they seem to have a lot of pride in their work.
