Please do yourself a favor and stay away from MG Motors in Tucson. I bought an Escalade from them that was marketed and sold as being in excellent running condition with no problems. Before buying it, I asked many direct questions to make sure there was nothing wrong with it, and I was repeatedly assured that everything was fine. Even on the test drive, it seemed fine. Almost immediately after leaving the lot, I started noticing issues. I took it to a mechanic, and it turned out the vehicle had numerous major problems that will cost more than $15,000 to repair. Issues with the battery being replaced with a cheap version not suitable for the vehicle, all the suspension was inoperable, motor mounts were all bad, and much more. These were serious problems that should have been obvious to anyone familiar with the vehicle. There is no way they did not know there were significant issues, yet they sold it to me anyway without disclosing them. What makes it even worse is that after the sale, they were no help at all in spite of my many attempts. They showed no interest in making it right, even though this vehicle was clearly not what they represented it to be. On top of that, they also took several months to complete the paperwork needed for the license plate, which only added to the frustration and inconvenience. In my experience, this dealership was dishonest, careless, and completely unwilling to stand behind what they sold. I would strongly encourage anyone considering buying a vehicle from MG Motors to think twicei. I would never buy from them again. read more

MG Motors has been one of the worst experiences of our lives. Strongly head our warnings to stay as far away from this dealership and these people as you can. Mohamad and George whom own this dealership along with several other LLCS that act as covers for their shady sales and customer service, poor quality of vehicles and horrible communication. George sold us a 2015 silverado knowing that it could not pass a safety inspection and ensured that Goldies Diesel who they partner with to service their vehicles, cleared the safety codes and fuel injection system codes before putting the vehicle on the lot. Upon bringing the vehicle home, the check engine light came on around 132 miles driven from Tucson back to Queen creek which is home. We called MG Motors and within 24 hours of being in possession of the vehicle and they were very reluctant to help and make things right. This vehicle was also financed. It took about 72 hours before enough begging for them to send a tow truck to pick up the vehicle. They took it to Goldies Diesel located in Tucson. Conveniently located kiddy corner from MG Motors. Goldies only replaced a sensor and never re ran the scans for the additional coded that popped up after being with out the vehicle for 3 weeks. George tried everything he could to stand in the way of us trying yo get the proper repairs done with the mechanics. Apparently forking over the funds needed to make sure he was a good business owner was too much to handle. After 3 weeks the vehicle was finally ready to pick back up. This is now more time and expenses. Too many phone calls to count in between all of this to get them to do right and make the first payment coming up due on the vehicle since we had only had possession of it less than 72 hours was like pulling teeth and just agonizing. No one chooses to take responsibility for themselves or their shotty customer service at MG Motors. Mohamad and George will hide behind Sam at the front desk and Gloria the office manager at the time in April. MG Motors eventually paid the first months vehicle payment. Upon picking the vehicle back up from the first repairs, the vehicle was filthy and in dismal condition inside and out. They felt that was an appropriate way to hand back over a vehicle. The truck made it approx 30 miles from the dealership and the check engine light came back on. A call was placed immediately and of course MG Motors avoided that call. Eventually got ahold of them and they denied wanting anything else to do with the vehicle. They have a 15 day or 500 mile warranty that comes standard in the paperwork Upon a purchase with them and refuse to acknowledge it. They also, against law, re wrote that into a 5 day, 500 mile warranty because they kept ending up in court which is public record for the same type of issues with other customers. The vehicle ended up at another mechanic of our choosing in Chandler just to find out the fuel system was bad and the damage to replace and repair was estimated at $20,000 with a $1,200 estimate bill. MG Motors refused the shop, refused to take ownership of clearing these codes before sale of vehicle. They knew the truck needed theses repairs and hid them. MG Motors refused to take the vehicle back. They tried to pull another shady move on us and " find" a replacement vehicle to swap it out, to " make things right." They failed at the as well. Which we find funny since a block away they also own Tucson Trucks LLC. But they seem to be out of trucks and its address is an empty strip mall lot......... after weeks of cohersion they finally agreed to take the truck back but make sure they did not give the down payment back any where near its entirety. Out of a $10,000 down payment, they refused to refund the taxes that were $2596. We had to eat $349 for their safety inspection, $599, for a dealership document fee and $279 for registration. This fiasco has been going on since may 10, 2025. We now have a loan that they were supposed to pay off that has not been, is accruing fees and hitting the credit with missed payments. Please stay away. Gloria has since departed ways with MG Motors. This poor excuse of a dealership used Gloria to make their customers illegally sign documents as a notary and never notarized the actual documents which made it void. Just as crooked as the company. MG Motors and its affiliates seem to stop at nothing to intimidate customers and manipulate them to keep their smoke and mirrors up of the crooked buisness they run. Due to poor quality and terrible salesmanship, they have stolen deposits, taxes and credit scores from their community. Please don't ever purchase from MG Motors or their affiliates. BUYERS BEWARE !!! Purchased my 2016 q5 in early august 2024. During the test drive everything was fine. A week later the oil light comes on and says i need a quart . I add the quart ...and a few days later the oil low light is on again. I bring it immediately in to my trusted mechanic at desert auto imports who specializes in European cars in Tucson , he finds no external leak & measures the oil finding that they gave me the car dangerously low on oil even though they said they did a oil change. His diagnosis for the severe oil loss is either a leak in the turbo or engine, in which he would have to pull them to see what one it is (thousands of dollars). I was devastated . As i just spent most of my money on this car that was running fine just to find out the engine or turbo was messed up before i even got the car but i didn't know because the oil light didn't go off till i drove it a little bit , so it gave them just enough time to escape their short warranty. Now this is where i contacted them , Mg motors , after finding out that the cars engine or turbo needs to be pulled my first few weeks of owning due to a previous ongoing issue.... I tried contacting management for over a week . They were always busy with something more important when i told them why im calling. Finally i got through to Gloria who was in charge of selling me the car and works in the office there and i explained to her about the car and how i just spent my savings on this car that has a major issue that was never listed when i was looking at the car . Her response was its been over the 15 day /500 miles period so theres nothing they can do . I eventually got Gloria to talk to "upper management" to try to do anything for me and they said bring the car in. Okay , Mind you this whole time shes talking down on me and acting like she has better things to be doing . So unprofessional. They bring the car in to their "mechanic" and within THE DAY they SAY they found out whats wrong and itll be $600 to fix the oil separator & crankcase vent valve and they can pay for only half of it. She says that SHOULD fix it but "i should keep an eye on it" before they even did anything to it which very strange to say especially if it took my mechanic multiple DAYS just to find what the issue could be which is is the turbo or engine. but they "found" it instantly. It seems Gloria seems to want to brush off any serious issues and just only care about the money/next victim, saying over the phone that I'm irritating, and her mumbling under her breathe "oh my god" to me like a little child that im devastated about this car being essentially scrap metal, and so anyway i give in and pay them to "fix it" because i need transportation and was willing to take the chance that their mechanic actually could fix it for that. The next day i get the car back . White smoke is coming out the back ..i think okay maybe its burning off some of the leftover oil. Nope. not even a week later and the oil light comes back on. They didn't fix it as i suspected. it was just another money grab . They now say sorry, oh well , and im basically left with a car thats garbage unless I cough up a tens of thousands to dollars to pull my engine or turbo ... Pay close attention to their reviews. Do your research, if you ever plan on doing business with them be very careful so they don't get you like they got me. Ill be filing multiple complaints with the BBB against their business and any other ways i can prevent this to happening to someone else i will. No one should have to go through this . Outstanding service! My daughter was in the market for a Jeep and we were an a time frame crunch as I was leaving back to California. We drove to Phoenix and Tempe and none of the dealerships were willing to "make a cash deal" so we drove back to Tucson and hoped online for local dealers. We saw one on MG Motors website, although it was a Saturday night we didn't expect anyone to reply. Sunday early morning we get a text from the manager (Gloria) they are typically closed on Sundays but they made the exception and said she would be there within 30mins!! We had been eyeing a few cars on the lot and decided to test drive the Jeep Compass on the lot. Drove great, was clean inside and out and more importantly, my daughter loved it. Gloria was absolutely professional and so personable through and through and took on a cash offer! We were done in 10mins. Contacted MG about a specific vehicle. They asked to about setting an appointment, which was set. Arrive after a 40 minute drive and tell them what I am looking for. Sales guy wants to take me "to a different lot". I have no intention on going to a different lot for a vehicle listed at the present location. Only then did this sales rep tell me that that they had sold this very vehicle yesterday. Here is a fine example of that old, slimey "Bait & Switch" tactic, which is fully intentional, fraudulent misrepresentation given they had replied to that specific vehicle and could NOT have been ignorant of it having been sold. I do not appreciate the blatant respect that these sleazy sales tactics and the disrespect that they demonstrated for their (unfortunate) customers time, and intelligence. Won an auction off of ebay. They wanted at least $8k more then winning bid (no reserve auction, but wanted $25k) Would not sell the car unless I paid more, made up lies about what was posted on the auction. They do not have to sell the car for the price won. They refused to follow through with the transaction. We did have interaction and I did win a car. I did send deposit like stated in auction and my bank contact information to complete the deal. Which they where suppose to hold up to their end of the deal and bragged they did not have to hold to the agreed deal through ebay. Deal at your own risk of wasting time and money for lies. When things go south they will talk about suing you. Run your own car fax also, they will have one listed without red flags which are now on the car! He also wants me to take this down because it shows how he does business. He is going to sue me if I do not take this review down, he tries to bully to get his way. We purchased a 2014 BMW X3 SUV from MG Motors on April 24, 2023. Not a terrible experience. However, given that MG Motors possessed only one key for the BMW, they issued a "we owe" for an additional key, and represented that the key that we received would work for our car. Approximately one month following our purchase, we received a blank key fob for our BMW that DID NOT work. When we contacted MG Motors to report the key fob we received was not working, they suggested we contact and pay a local locksmith that could program the key fob. This is indicative of a car dealership that fails to perform effectively on commitments it makes to its customers. We are now faced with having to visit a BMW dealership and pay an additional $450 to $500 for a working key for the BMW we bought from MG Motors of Tucson, AZ. We strongly advise that potential customers avoid dealers that misrepresent or fail to perform on commitments they make to customers - and, unfortunately, MG Motors appears to be such a dealership. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! We bought a truck from this company before we even drove off the check engine light came on. They reset it and we drove 2hrs back to our home. 10 min into our drive it came back on we called right away they scheduled to put it in their shop. We made the 2 hr drive back and dropped it off They had our truck for a week we were without a vehicle. We picked it up and on our 1st outing the turbo blew up and left us stranded on the side of road for 12 hrs. We had it towed to a shop near where we were and as soon as mechanic let us know the cost which was $6500.00 we contacted MG motors to see if they would stand behind their vehicle and at a min. pay for the parts they refused That's just bad business and we will NEVER DO business with them again in fact we will recommend nobody we know does business with them. They had it in the shop and I believe they knew the issues and tried hiding them from us . They selll lemons and don't stand behind their vehicles. Buyer beware pictures are not representative of the cars, empty promises, very sketchy and costly sales techniques, unwillingness to provide honest and accurate information, and does not care about you, your time or your money. Very displeased with all aspects of this company. I wrote Vince an email about a car they had listed with a few basic questions about any body damage and asked for more pictures etc. He did not answer any of my questions, even when I called he didn't want to provide any information on the maintenance that was done (told me "oh no we didn't get any information from the previous owner") and told me he would send me the vehicle history report which he didn't and I had to buy it. I flew out because the pictures looked good. After being there for 2hrs they finally pull the car up and my heart dropped. The front bumper was held on by a bungee cord, the car had scratches dents and dings all over it, had curb rash all over the rims and body panels did not line up. The price was at least $6,000 more than KBB! Needless to say I flew back home. I will never consider doing business with MG Motors again. read more

Just to follow up now that my part of everything is done and I got the final bill for all the work: $1757.00 (tax and interest I will pay) entire A/C system from front to back (mechanic DID point out they felt something was wrong with the A/C system) The "huge discount" was $8000.00 on a vehicle that KBB puts at betweeen $5649 - $8142 and suggests a retail of $7850. You came down on the price to cover tax and licensing. As sits the vehicle has; and this would not have been found in the 45 minutes our mechanic had the vehicle since they were rushing: busted DVD short in the wiring that keeps the radio on even after the key has been removed The vents for the back half of the vehicle do not switch from the floor to the ceiling vents and vice versa, they are stuck to blowing to the floor at all times. To fix all the quirks this vehicle has my son is going to have to invest another grand or so more. I financed this for him and I would say you got a great price for it and I paid about $1500 OVER what I should have at $8000. We are not even counting the issue with the throttle and vacum system that you had to fix yourselves just days after the vehicle was purchased.... This thing is probably going to nickel and dime my son to death. Live and learn, this is why you buy certified pre-own, not used. read more

A month ago I was pushed to get a car from here. They REFUSED to put me on as a co-signer when I asked several times.They said only my money is needed AND HAD ME SIGN PAPERWORK. They also sold me a car that had BAD MOTOR MOUNTS AND A CHECK ENGINE LIFHT THAT CAME ON THE SAME DAY. They were not helpful. When I went in to find a car and was explaining what I wanted i was thrown the key to a nissian Altima and said here you can have that. Then less than a month later I was having issues with the car took it in and the heads and motor mounts that was like $6000 plus dollars.
