We had two occasions to use the services of MG Technology. Both times were for cracked screens. On one occasion the young knowledgable and courteous woman (owner) behind the counter repaired it in 15 minutes. Said I could stay and watch, shop or get a coffee/soda and return. I watched and was amazed at how quickly she repaired it. Was very pleased to pay her. The second occasion was with my wife's phone; her screen also cracked. This time the young man (owner) also said it would be about 15 minutes and since i saw his wife's handy work, I left and bought a soda. As I walked back to the store, he came outside to tell me it was finished. Again, excellent work and great customer relation skills. As for the one negative response we read where 4 or 5 women were "followed", one has to recognize tactics used by thieves and "IF" these women exhibited these traits, following them is certainly in order. And further considering they used profanity toward the owner and returned items to where they got them, I can only say (with 45 years of experience in this arena) I would bet they were going to leave with some items not paid for. I like that the owner contacted the police for her publishing her photo which is illegal. One can take all the photos they want in the public view BUT cannot publish without written permission. Love this business and plan to bring my phone in to get the front cover replaced as it is starting to lift up. May even buy other things for my wife or my self while there as they do have nice merchandise. Final note, the owners who are intelligent, attractive and courteous are also, I believe, Turkish and obviously proud to be in America and living the dream. Mehmet and his assistant were both very knowledgable and experienced. They were genuinely helpful. We walked in off the street and they replaced my cracked screen in about 20mins as promised, at a very reasonable price. I did have a slight issue with screen discoloration after returning home and called MG Tech the next morning and they were happy to fix it. (The issue was with that particular screen and they replaced it with a new one.) While I was waiting, another customer walked in and asked about his cracked screen; Mehmet did not try to oversell/charge and told the customer it was just the screen protector. The customer was curious about the process and wanted to watch them replace it, and Mehmet happily welcomed him to watch. No gimmicks and totally trustworthy. I would highly recommend MG Technology! Be aware and the charge is crazy too, yup $170 for replace one piece glass for screen, the screen is bad quality, the charge is for nothing, the touch screen is mess up too, and now i have to go somewhere else to replace it again. The brunette lady that works at this store is very racist. From the beginning, my family and I felt we were being watched. My younger cousin passed by saying "excuse me" to which the lady ignored her. My other cousin and I went into the store to purchase a couple items because we thought the store had some nice items. The brunette lady then followed us around the store, even to the very back while other customers were near the front (leaving that area unattended), to check what we were doing. She kept trying to check up on us even when we decided to put all of our items back and leave. I went to take a picture to report the place, and she came out of the store after I took these pictures admitting that she was following us. She states she was following us because it's "her" store. I informed her that we were prepared to buy a good amount of items, but her discrimination and behavior lost our business. In total there were 5 of us, and we are all tan, Hispanic women, who speak normal English amongst each other. We were all born here, and never experienced such an awful experience while shopping together. read more
