Nothing worse than getting ready for bed, to find all the drains in the house are backing up. Time to call around... I first called one of the well-known plumbers you hear on the radio, and was surprised to learn there was a $99 +$265 emergency call out charge (a total of $364 before any repairs are even made!), and a 2-hour response tj. I came here to Yelp, and found Mike with Ace's Plumbing... most 5-Star reviews in the area. I called just before 9PM and Mike answered, said he'd be right over (though he was getting ready for bead as well when I called!). He was at my house within 15 minutes, diagnosed the issue within 5 minutes, and was soon running a snake down the main line! Was a total of 30 minutes and the job was done! So glad we searched Yelp and found Ace's! In the end, it cost us LESS THAN HALF of what the other guy wanted just to show up (not to mention a 2-hour response time). Thanks again Mike, you saved the day and saved us a ton of money!!!

At the time, I didn't realize what a blessing that would be. Mark is incredibly experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly. He knew exactly what needed to be done in both situations and fixed the issues promptly. His communication was excellent. I never once had to chase him for updates. He consistently delivered clear, accurate information and kept me informed throughout the process. Mark responds to texts and calls in a timely manner, which is hard to find these days, and he completed the work within the promised timeframe. I cannot recommend Old School Plumbing enough if you're looking for reliable, high-quality plumbing services.

Timothy and Scott arrived on time as scheduled and fully explained the incorrect method the garbage disposal was installed which is no surprise. Been in this house 9 months and the previous owner did everything DIY. The drain from the sink to the basement was not correct after due to an oversize sink being installed and properly aligned(previous owner). Tim and Scott installed a new drain, repositioned the garbage disposal and new pvc, tubing, etc. They were very professional, personable and explained everything in layman's terms. Very fair pricing. Highly recommend Anthony's.

Not realizing you get more bees with honey, these companies would prosper if only they gave their customers the benefit of the doubt & honestly listened to their complaints, then people would be recommending their services, they obviously never studied reverse psychology! I would never recommend this company, no mention of the guy's name, no manners, very rude and tried even starting an argument with me a disabled senior needing special accessibilities, my needs were totally discounted and ignored by Allen's Mechanical llc and Peak Living. He kept telling me how nice it looked, and how he thought it wasn't very dirty. He was in and out of the house very quickly, and we had two sets of stairs, and several rooms to clean. The carpet didn't look much better when he was done, and two months later, it looks much worse that if we hadn't had them "cleaned" at all. I was hoping the "zero residue" would prevent this, but it turns out the only difference is that they use purified water. We are going to have to hire another company to come in and clean properly just to get the carpet to look as good as it did before Zerorez came out to "clean" it.

You know when gamers throw their control and 'rage quit?' That's what happened to me with an…read moreelectrical project. I hate that I had to to it, but I called in the professionals at Galvin. They were responsive on Yelp with Request-A-Quote, and while a notch higher than some others, I figured what the hell. They could have someone out same day and the reviews looked great. The tech was later than expected (4-6 p.m. window and arrived closer to 6:30) which wasn't ideal as we had sat down to dinner. Fortunately the job was small and he was quick to handle it. To me it's a lot like calling a plumber; it's going to cost you, but you know it's going to be done right. Galvin seemed professional in how they booked and assigned the electrician. Not every service company can say the same. Hopefully won't need them again, like, ever, but if so I would recommend them and go with them again.
