Don't let any negative review keep you from trying this delicious little restaurant!! The owner and staff aim to please! If you don't like something, they will fix it the way you want it. I have been happy stopping here since it opened. Very authentic Mexican food.

Fajitas (came with rice, beans, and tortillas), quesadillas (birra), and small guacamole.

Great food. Good service. Recommend. Good local Mexican restaurant just a few minutes from home. I wish they delivered.

We were seated in the lovely outdoor area, which had such a great atmosphere with Mexican music playing in the background. We started with the empanadas, and they were absolutely delicious. For our main dishes, we had the shrimp fajitas and steak tacos--both were flavorful, perfectly cooked, and truly hit the spot. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our server, Joely, was awesome--friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcomed, especially on such a busy holiday. Great food, great service, and a beautiful setting. We'll definitely be back!

The night we dined the restaurant was pretty busy, but there were no servers or hosts in sight. After a very brief wait, a server and host/server came out of the kitchen and sat us immediately. We started with horchata to drink, which arrived in mason jars with a dusting of cinnamon. The menu is very seafood heavy, so if you're not into fish or seafood, your options are limited. With that being said, the menu leans authentic Mexican. Every table receives fresh homemade nachos with a black bean topping and two salsas- one mild and one spicy. We decided to do the appetizer sampler so we could try a little of a variety of things. It came with an empanada, elote, nachos, guacamole, and queso fundido. The presentation was awesome, as it arrived on a wooden board. The empanada was cut into 4 pieces and was filled with chicken tinga and cheese. I absolutely loved it, while my friend hated it, which was crazy to me. It was so flavorful and had almost a carnitas flavor to it. The guac was fresh, the nachos were crispy and packed with toppings, elote was flavorful and fresh, and queso fundido was super filling. We almost filled up on the apps, but our birria tacos came out and they were fantastic. Our server poured the hot consommé over onions in a little bowl and the flavor was rich and paired with the birria so well. The corn tortillas were crispy and even though we could only eat one of the three, we took the rest home. We also split a side of Mexican rice and beans, which were average and pretty much what you'd expect. We aren't sure if there is dessert, as there was none on the menu, but we were too full even if we were offered options. Our server was attentive even though it was very busy. All in all, I would give it a 4 and my dining companion would give it a 3 so 3.5 would be perfect. However I went up to a 4 because I enjoyed what I ordered and think it deserves that half of a star.

Set in the center of a quiet shopping center, I HAD to post this review because I need people to know this exists. While I was expecting typical guacamole, tacos, chimichangas, and burritos, this was NOT that. The menu gives off an upscale Mexican vibe that is completely unexpected. The dining area is much larger than we realized upon entering the restaurant. We were given homemade chips with salsa and salsa verde. We started with the queso with chorizo. It arrived in a little skillet with soft tortillas for dipping. The dip was basically all cheese and chorizo. It needed to be lifted or pinched into the tortilla and was not dippable. I wasn't a huge fan of this, but this was the only thing I didn't love. I then did the roasted beets with cream cheese, avocado, pistachio, jalapeños, and fig reduction. This was out of this world with fresh ingredients and an amazing blend of flavors. For my entree I did the Pollo Poblano which was thinly sliced chicken breasts with roasted poblano peppers, cheese, crab, and a tequila cream sauce. It didn't come with any sides so I did the rice and beans. The rice was creamy and had bits of corn and herbs. It was almost like a risotto. The refried beans were black beans rather than your typical pinto beans. My bff had the veal enchiladas and said they were okay, but I didn't try them to give a full synopsis. We were too full to do dessert, but I had this chicken 4 days ago and I am still fantasizing about it. I need to go back. Definitely check this place out!

A Stellar Experience at Mi Casa Tu Casa - Brick, NJ!…read more I recently called Mi Casa Tu Casa to ask if I could bring my Ocean County College Women's Basketball Team in for a team dinner the night before our season kickoff -- and from that first phone call, their excitement and kindness were unmatched! They were so happy to host us and made every step of the experience easy and enjoyable. They even offered our players 10% off their meals, which were absolutely delicious! The tacos are an incredible deal -- four for just $15-- full of flavor and perfectly portioned. The appetizers were reasonably priced and packed with taste, chips and salsa come to table when dinning in, and to top it off, the staff surprised us with a few sweet treats for the table as a thank-you gesture -- such a thoughtful touch that meant so much to our team. There's plenty of seating and space for groups, making it a great spot for family dinners, team outings, or celebrations. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to have us there. It's always special to support small businesses that continue to support our local programs, and Mi Casa Tu Casa truly embodies community, generosity, and great service. In today's tough economic climate, it felt amazing to dine somewhere that not only serves amazing food but also values people, community and connection. cute neighbors spot with great mexican food!…read more my friend and i made a reservation for 8p on cinco de mayo -- we did not realize it was cinco de mayo until we were on our way over to the restaurant, and it was crazy packed. even with a reservation, we had to wait for a table. we were seated outside initially, despite our reservation for an inside table. we did request to move inside since it was cold and windy outside, and our waiter jose told us it would take 20 more minutes. we were at the restaurant for over an hour by the time we were finally seated inside. once inside, our orders were quickly taken, and the food came out quickly. at that point, we were starving -- coming here on cinco de mayo was a mistake. the food here is excellent. the tacos al pastor were some of the best tacos i've had. the pork was so juicy and flavorful. the drinks (horchata & jamaica) were also packed with flavor and tasted incredibly authentic. the elote was delicious as well, and i enjoyed how much pulpo/octopus was on the menu. there were so many other things i wanted to try! our waiter jose was also very sweet. he apologized for the delay in getting seated, and you could tell they were working really hard to get through the rush. i would not come back on cinco de mayo, but i would definitely recommend this spot for a casual dinner.
