I love this place. I've been here twice. I've had the same type of experience twice. I've been here once for Takeaway. I've had the same experience even having Takeaway. It is a very small restaurant. They have tables where you can sit and one of the servers comes from behind the counter to take your order and get you your food. They are all very friendly. Be prepared for the loud music. For some this might be a problem. But for me, it put me in the mood to dance in my seat and enjoy my food even more. They have a very extensive menu. Most of the menu is Mexican street food. I appreciate that they do some mingle of Mexican American items. But I tried to stick to what's authentic. The times that I have visit I have had the street corn Loco style and quesadilla with chorizo and potatoes and I have had several different flavors of taco. You cannot go wrong. The food is flavorful and well prepared. If you decide to eat there, be sure to find parking somewhere in the neighborhood and do the parking app. It is hard to find parking but usually somewhere up or down the street you can find a spot. If you do take out, there is a laundromat across the street with a parking lot. Park at your own risk. When I did take away, it took about 20 minutes for my food to be prepared. When I sat and ate I lingered a while and was there for about an hour and a half. I love the flavors of the food and you can tell that they really take time and effort to make it taste good. You can put their green salsa on anything and it would raise a flavor about 50%. All of their sauces are good but the green one is my favorite. I would definitely come back and it is convenient because the restaurant is right across the bridge in Camden so you don't have to go that far into New Jersey for a great bite.

For Some Reason My Flash Didn't Work But This Is The Chorizo Tostada.

I really wanted to love my experience at El Taco Loco, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. I ordered 3 shrimp tacos and a chorizo tostada and paid $24, expecting something flavorful and authentic--especially since the place smelled amazing and was super busy. My order took almost 30 minutes, which made me think the food would be worth the wait. The shrimp tacos, however, were overloaded with peppers and onions to the point where I literally had a pile of them on the side. It honestly felt like it was covering up the fact that the shrimp were chopped into tiny pieces. While the shrimp itself had some flavor, the taco overall was not enjoyable. There was so much grease soaked into the tortilla that I had to eat it with a knife and fork. As for the chorizo tostada, it was nothing like how it was described on the menu. It came with just sausage, lettuce, and Mexican cheese--no beans, no peppers, nothing that made it stand out or match expectations. The restaurant itself is clean and looks nice, but the service felt very cold--more like "what do you want?" instead of "how can I help you?" Safe to say, I won't be giving this place another try.

3 Birria Tacos, Campenchano Tacos, Small Nachos with Spicy Pork, & Elotes (Mexican Street Corn).

I'm going to start this review with a big SMH! Why? Because that's what I did every single time I bit into one of my food items at El Taco Loco. My husband and I searched high and low for a Mexican restaurant near us. We have tried a ton of them. We found two places in Philly. However, there are times when we just don't want to travel over the bridge. After trying El Taco Loco, We NEVER have to go to Philly for Mexican food again. Yay!!!!! Let's start with the menu. We ordered 1) Elotes, Small Nachos with Spicy Pork, 2 Campenchano Tacos, Birra Tacos, and a side of rice and beans. Our drinks were Lemonade and Pineapple. Sigh!!! Our drinks arrived first. My pineapple drink was soooo fresh and delicious. It really hit the spot on a hot summer day. My husband liked his lemonade, but favored my drink more. The Elotes arrived next. SMH!!!! When I tell you that corn was fantastic! I'm still smiling while thinking about it. The waitress gave us some hot pepper seasoning to add to the corn. I found it to be very hot, so I used it sparingly. Next, our nachos, tacos, rice and beans arrived. My husband didn't know anything about Birra tacos, but he does NOW! He stopped talking to me mid meal bc he was so wrapped up in his Birra experience. I managed to get one bite and of course wanted more. I dove into the nachos. It was hard to stop eating them, but I pulled away so I could try my tacos. The meat was succulent, tender and tasty. The different salsas (green and red) just added the right amount our flavor to the tacos. They were so yummy. The rice and beans were just as tasty as everything else. We were are so happy to have found this place and will definitely be regular customers/patrons from here on out.

In short, probably the best Mexican food you can find in the area. Excellent value, excellent service and excellent food. What more can you ask for? We ordered the taco lengua (beef tongue) birria quesadilla, steak ponchiburro (open face burrito) and various tamales. Everything was a hit! Definitely worth a trek, you won't be disappointed.

GREAT FOOD. Great service. ALL in a newly remodeled location. My family and I go at least once a month, and they never fail! It is a bit pricey for "tacos" how some would view it, but the flavor is worth it! ALL OF IT!

Great food and service. The portions were huge, and even the small orders are enough to share. We got the guacamole and you could tell it's made fresh. I did have to add salt, but that's likely a personal preference. The chorizo nachos were layered with lots of well seasoned chorizo, and my birra quesadilla was not only massive but very tasty. The restaurant itself is on the city street with street parking in the heart of Camden's cultural center. There are half a dozen or so tables and loud music playing. Our waitress was really nice as the other staff that assisted during our visit. Prices are on the higher side, but you can tell the food is made fresh and they don't skimp on the ingredients.

Tings 3 Steak Tacos Elotes (Mexican Street Corn) Salsa, salsa verde

First time customer, and i really enjoyed this restaurant, food and family cooked vibes. I walked in on a Friday afternoon with my family to experience what all the hype was about. The parking was a little tricky but well worth it. The Resturant was very cute, colorful, clean and inviting, there were tables to dine in and seats to wait while you wait. Ok now to what we ordered: two chicken tings tacos (American) One carnitas taco (American) Birra burrito Mexican street corn Jamaica juice Everything was delicious, flavorful, fresh, and authentic! I can't wait to come back and try out more menu items

    Loco Tacos

I went today for the first time all the way from Philly and ordered takeout. I got Loco tacos, special tamale, chicken tostadas, pastor burritos, elote in a cup, and lastly churros. The tacos were okay because the tortilla was rather dry and greasy. The tostadas very delicious and filling. The burrito was a symphony in my mouth, the portion size was also very healthy. The churros were THE nail in the coffin, filled with some type of cream and fried and coated to perfection! Running up was the tamale for it's rich flavor and authentic taste. To further compliment the service was comforting. English and Spanish were both spoken! Also it was extremely clean and well decorated. Overall it was worth the drive and I will be back!! 10/10

Been wanting to hit up https://www.facebook.com/mytacoloco For awhile now! They are currently operating out of a food truck while their main location is being renovated. I highly recommwnd followi g them to see where on the border of Camden/Pennsauken they are operating. I am a sandwich guy, or a torta guy in this instance. I have never been or really had a desire to go to Mexico, until I started following travel food vloggers on youtube and fell in love with the street food. Anyway, to the food, I got a Campechano Torta which has pretty much everything in it. I posted pictures of the menu for you all to reference, but this torta is a bit of a flavor and texture bomb. Let me take you for a ride here. The steak pastor mixture was prepared with some love and picked up a lot of good flavor from the grill and seasoned flat top. Those meat peices were nicely chewy while while you got stringyness from the Mexican "string cheese", the crispy water veggies (that's what I like to call my lettuce and tomato here) added a soft crunch, the avocado and refried beans were a nice touch too. The bread held together pretty well surprisingly! I'm not going to lie, this is a bit of a messy sandwich. Delicious sandwich fillings are going to fall out, so have your fork ready to enjoy afterwards. I can't wait to go back and try more menu items! I mention again, find them on fb, and instagram and give them a follow. They are always posting mouth watering awesome delicious food content!!!! Pss, dont be scared of driving into Camden during the day for this!

Great steak tacos order of 3. I placed a lime from my fridge in the photo. I had no fixings with my food. Glad I asked for sauce.

Just picked up my food. $38 (4 pastor tacos, 3 steak tacos, small rice/beans, churros and a soda. Food is delish but I had no limes, cucumbers, radishes and no pineapple pieces in my pastor tacos. To some that's minor but to me it's very important that I get what I am supposed to get with the order. Sometimes it's the little things that matter. Overall this place is great to dine in or take out.

Located on the main strip on Haddon Ave, we wound up here quite by accident. When we walked in, and it was funeral parlor empty. But our server came around the corner and ushered us into an adjoining room, equally as nice, that had a few other patrons dining. Fears alleviated, we sat down and got to ordering. The menu is great, with something from everyone. We got the birria burrito for me, lobster tacos for the Misses, mac and cheese for the Little One, and a side of Sweet Plantains for everyone. FIRST, god lord almighty....them sweet plantains are MAGICAL! They taste like French Toast. OMG......SOOO good. The rest of the food had an extremely high bar to live up to, and it did. Everything was fast, fresh and delicious. Even the price was tolerable. Our server was extremely nice, though I wish he would have written stuff down, as we had to remind him a couple of times about our requests. No biggie. We will, 100% be back, and if it's anything like last time, I have a feeling Paloma will be moving onto the 5-Star list quickly.

I vascilated between 3 and 4 stars, so I'll instead provide a breakdown: Menu: 5 stars. The menus are easy to read, detailed, and organized. The menus aren't your standard laminated menus. They have a thick, very pretty, sturdy cover. They provide the prices for different meat options. I appreciate that many menu items can be or are gluten free. Ambience: 5 stars. I am a total sucker for supporting small, privately owned businesses! Bonus points for being immigrant/POC/Black-owned business! The restaurant was small but still with a good amount of wiggle room for dining in. Everything was clean and somewhat modern for what was described to me as "a hole in the wall" (in a good way), as I was expecting it to be a little dated and dingy. It wasn't. It was bright, cool, and airy. Service: 3-stars. service was mid. Our server didn't seem overly-excited to be there. He communicated well, but with very little friendliness or enthusiasm. I'd say, at best, his demeanor was neutral, and I can live with that, considering I've encountered a lot of times where people in the service industry act like they don't appreciate your business and are doing you a favor just by taking your order, smh. Food: 3.5 stars. Presentation was beautiful! Very well-done! Unfortunately, I found my tres moles enchiladas lacking that "pow" in taste that I love about mole. I also love my enchiladas drowned in mole sauce, especially eating with chicken breast, which can be a very mild/bland and dry meat. The chicken itself wasn't necessarily dry, but because it was chicken breast, and the feel of the dish was on the dry side. That being said, my fellow diners LOVED their dishes and said they'd come back again! Unfortunately, they don't provide reviews on Yelp, so I invite you to take my review as a grain of salt and try this restaurant out for yourself.

This wasn't my first time at Sabrina's, so I already knew the service would probably be a little different with the Mother's Day rush -- and understandably so. Overall, the food was still good! We started with their Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, made with blueberry and lavender, then garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. It was so refreshing and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and added salmon, while my daughter got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. For appetizers, we tried one of their "Heated Rivalry" May specials: Shane Hollander's Jambalaya Benedict. It came with shredded potato waffles, two poached eggs, fried shrimp, Creole sauce, smoked beef andouille sausage, pico de gallo, and green onions. Now listen... it looked AMAZING on the menu and had so much potential, but the taste was a little underwhelming for me. The dish came out room temperature, almost like it had been sitting for a while, and I really think it would've hit differently if it had been served hot -- especially the potato waffles. Still, I understand they were extremely busy and trying to accommodate everyone during the holiday rush. Sabrina's is definitely still a local favorite that I'll continue to support. Overall rating for this visit: 8/10

My young son really enjoyed this. The fried buttermilk chicken was so on point that we ordered a second one as a side dish. Likewise the buttermilk chicken sandwich was great. I added bacon which was a good call. I would have liked the bacon a bit crispier and I think raw spinach rather than sautéd spinach would have helped the chicken stay crispier. We also order pancakes. The pancakes were super big. I'm talking dinner plate big. Unfortunately the taste did not live up to the big size. The texture was off putting and the flavor was strange. As for ambiance, it can get a bit loud since it is essentially and empty room with only a little decoration. They do have a small outside eating area which was quieter and could be quite nice on a day with comfy temperatures. All in all it was a good experience and we would go back again.
