They also have cookies, other seasonal foods, and all their usual offerings. The store was clean, they only had one staffed register open, but they had some self serves which worked for me. Prices are decent, quality is good. Plenty of parking. Broad is busy, of course, but it wasn't too hard to get in and out.

Old guy tells younger guy. He said "OK". I go back to the machine and wait for them to come and fix it. They never took one step away from behind the register and I was the ONLY customer in the store. I fixed the machine, the container holding the mix was put in incorrectly. I go to the register to pay and explained that I went ahead and fixed the machine & neither of them would even look up at me. Go outside to leave and my car battery was dead. Again, I was still the only customer. I go back in and ask if either could help me. I had jumper cables. Old guy said: "No. I'm not using my battery to do it." Younger guy said: "Don't you see I'm working? No." I went back outside and thankfully a customer pulled up. I asked him for help and he immediately said, "of course." While my car was being jumped, the two employees came outside, stood by the front door... Started talking and laughing it up as they smoked. The gentleman helping me asked if I had asked them for help and I explained what had happened. He suggested I take pics and I did. He told them directly, by the front door, that he will be taking his business elseware and they just laughed at him. Disgusting employees? Yes! However; even worse, human beings. The clone behind the service counter told me to finish my other shopping before picking up my "special cake." I went to the bakery and looked at the quarter sheet cakes in their display and guess what? The only thing the "bakery manager" did "special" for my brother's cake was pull it out of the ones on display and put some tacky orange writing it to match the orange balloons. That chick tried to con me. I ordered whipped cream icing and the "manager" didn't even know the difference. I was so effing heated! She was a black woman and I'm a white man. Why is it that every time a white person tells a black person working what time it is, they always say "you need to calm down. " CTFO! Have you a seen a black person go south? I'll remember to tell their ass to calm down too. I refused that bullshit cake and told her I never should have come to that dump store. She offered to "bake another one" but still didn't know the difference between whipped icing and buttercream. I left without a cake for my little brother's special day. I wasn't going to take that crap she was trying to peddle. Then she was talking to another black chick and they were both chuckling. Must be nice to be able to be a real asshole at your job and still get paid. I went to a real bakery and they understood WTF to do and helped me out. My little brother had a nice dinner and cake afterwards. Bottom line folks, don't bother dealing with this jackass store or order a special cake from their lame bakery "managed" by someone who doesn't know her ass from her whipped icing.
