This is very good Mediterranean make your bowl place. I got a chicken bowl with hummus as the base but there are other options as well. I added cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, and pickles as toppings and tahini sauce. I want to emphasize that the olives are Kalamata and that the pickles are possibly homemade. The chicken is delicious - more savory than at other similar places. They added a couple pieces of felafel and a piece of pita. For drinks they have 3 rotating fruit-based juices in addition to sodas. Service is fast and friendly and atmosphere is fine - quiet with some Middle Eastern music playing invite background. read more

Thank you SO much fellow Yelpers for being tried and true!! My mom can't eat beef so was excited for the chicken option and I went double lamb-beef for my bowl. Between us we got all the toppings. I can't list what all we decided on because it was all good and so much. They do NOT skimp on the portions not on the friendliest service we've had in a very long time!! Zaytoon is a gem! I've been trying out more Mediterranean spots recently, and this is definitely my favorite so far. I would compare this spot to Agape with their menu items. However is my opinion Zaytoon beats them out. The ingredients are all fresh. The portions are spectacular. The staff is friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself is adorable. So many great things to say and call out about Zaytoon. And if I'm not mistake, this is not a chain and is local to Hilliard area which is also a plus. I really loved my experience here. If I lived closer, I'd probably come often. The food was excellent. My falafel and fried were sooo crispy. You can tell they definitely made them to order. The selection of sauces were also delicious & varied. Best of all, the staff and service were so friendly. This place was clean, bright, and had a very relaxing feel to it. Almost like a casual cafe...definitely nicer than your typical fast food spots. The portions were generous and pricing was very reasonable. Cheap eats without the cheap feel! The menu is very customizable, so you can get your meal exactly the way you like. Just keep in mind some of the items on the line up were an extra charge. They had some unique drinks both in their tea selection by the fountain area and also in their case with bottled drinks. What really stood out were the workers. They were so gracious and helpful. I saw a gentleman basically talk to every single customer. However, they were still able to be very fast and efficient. It had a family run feel to it. Good, but different, options but simple, value with portion. Zaytoon was a random pick one day while in the area. I noticed it had many, many, great reviews and thought, "hey let's give it a shot". My girlfriend and I came here to try that day. It's like a Chipotle, Hot Heads, Piada, Bibibop, of the Greek or Mediterranean world. It features a line much like the other formats named. You pick the type of dish and select your toppings. We both went with bowls. It was quite a bit of food. I couldn't finish mine and I'm known for having a big appetite. As fast as your in, your all set and ready to chow down. While it's not like traditional Mediterranean, it allows options and combinations of "new things". We will definitely be back when in the area, because the food was good, the staff was helpful and patient with new customers, and the meal was great. I see why they have such a good rating. We enjoyed a stop at Zaytoon's at the tail end of a road trip. It had all three elements of a quality establishment: good flavor, generous portions, and friendly service. Mediterranean food done well is refreshing and uniquely diverse, and Zaytoon's delivered on this front. I had a good conversation with the two guys working as we paid for our food. You can choose to make your selections into a bowl or wrap them in a pita, and they were NOT kidding when they told me I'd get MORE with a bowl... I had about 1/3 of my tasty Mediterranean mix that night, with leftovers for two more light meals/sides. Go for all the add-ins, they're ALL delicious, esp. the stuffed grape leave, spicy feta and falafel, but take note that some of those tasty options will add on to your price. NBD, but my "little bit of everything" bowl would up over $15.00 rather than the $10.95 starting price. Went to the location on 4th street in the Budd Dairy food hall. customer service was fantastic and the food was so delicious.I loved my lamb and chicken wrap as well As a small order of loaded fries. Guy gave me a sample of some fresh juice & my husband purchased that as well. My next month trip I'll try the salmon or shrimp dish with rice. I went here to try the hummus because I had heard it was the best in the city. I'm a big fan of Lavash's hummus in Clintonville. The restaurant is a Chipotle style Mediterranean restaurant. I made a bowl with a base of hummus, lamb, vegetables and tzatziki. It was really delicious with homemade ingredients, fresh and filling. The price was also right at $11.50. I'm sure I'll be back. Truth: best fries ever and legit the most tender gyro meat I've ever had. The rice was cooked perfectly and everything was seasoned well and delicious. Husband chose hummus bowl with falafel, Greek fries, and a side of spicy feta. Everything was great and no complaints (unless "this is a lot of hummus" is a complaint! Generous portions all around. OMG this place is outstandingly delicious. A heavenly addition to the cultural food scene in Columbus! I just had my first bowl here last night and I'm already craving more. If I had to pick one fast food place to eat for the rest of my life, then this would be it! I hope that says how much I love it here. The staff is so patient and friendly, thus making this place feel very wholesome. There is plenty of seating inside and it's so clean and well maintained. I would definitely feel comfortable/safe eating here alone after a late night work shift! Located right off Hilliard Rome rd.
