Leaning towards 3/3.5 stars based on my meal (fish tacos) but those I was with enjoyed their dishes. Amazing, out-of-this world flavor. The custom sauces are beyond the pale - red, green, chipotle, and pineapple habanero. Fish tacos and shrimp quesadillas are the best we've ever eaten. Holy moly! This place from the outside doesn't look like much but the food is so good. I was sent here by some of my Bingo friends. I wanted a really good breakfast burrito. I ordered the eggs, Chorizo and potatoes burrito. Umm it was a size of a BIG super burrito. It was enough for me to eat on for 3 days. I ate 1/4 of it and saved the rest. Was not disappointed at all. I got some salsa on the side wit their fresh made chips. I actually used the drive through and it was to me with in a few minutes. They have a great menu and breakfast served all day. Tried this place based on the Yelp reviews and was pleasantly surprised. It's a hole in the wall with delicious food. Pictured is the street taco plate and 2 of the salsas from the salsa bar. We tried the carnitas, barbacoa, and picadillo tacos. All were good, as was the salsa, rice and beans. Our kiddo's chicken strips came out undercooked but they fixed it. Had the breakfast tacos this morning and was very pleased. The eggs, unlike most other breakfast tacos out there, aren't overcooked. They are making chorizo in-house now, and are doing a pretty good job. Not nearly as greasy as the stuff you'd normally find. And you get a lot for your money. Once was a must go to place in longview to eat. Now it's run down needs to be remodeled never any soft drinks in the dispenser. Broken tables debris and disarray outside the door. The owner needs to remodel paint or add two hundred dollars worth of his time just to freshen it up. I know the supply chain is hard to get food for the business. But when potatoes and things are consistently not they are not there. I am In town for work and bumped into a few of the locals looking for breakfast tacos. The only place anyone could think of was Mi Casita, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The servings were large. The ingredients were cooking perfectly. None of the meats were dry. I was very impressed. I spent less than $10 and walked out more full than you could leaving a buffet. Service was good enough, it is not a full service restaurant. You order at the cashier then seat yourself. They will bring your order out. One of my tacos was missing an item I ordered. I don't know whether they charged me for it or not but the nice lady helping me didn't even bat an eye and immediately brought out 2 strips of bacon. Apparently the taco I ordered only comes with one. I like that a business and its employees accept when they make a mistake and just fixes it. Kudos! Best breakfast burrito I've had for a long time! You don't get this kind of quality on the east coast. The burrito was well made and huge! I ordered the chorizo, which came with eggs, beans, and potatoes. All of it was cooked well and the flavor was amazing. Of special note about this place is their selection of salsas. I deliver from this place all the time, and the people who run this place are insanely nice and it always smells so great when I go in. So, I decided to give it a shot while my parents were in town and my dad desperately needed his breakfast burrito craving satiated. I have to say...I was NOT disappointed. I always used to go to Stripes in Houston for my breakfast tacos because YUM. This place, though....they put Stripes to shame. The only thing I'd change about it is I would add some of that green hot sauce that makes you dream about wasabi because there is a similar heat to it. Otherwise, omg....the potatoes were cooked perfectly, the chorizo was so finely chopped and not overly greasy with a wonderful flavor, and they put just the right amount of beans. Plus, they load those breakfast tacos up! Seriously...they were not shy with the stuffing. All I can say is are used to love mi casita!!!!! But I don't know I've heard it a few times OK may be more than a few I just kept thinking bad day maybe I came up on a bad day. But it just seems like every time I go my pork tacos are full of nothing but grease. And I understand pork is greasy and it taste good with the little grease. But sometimes they're just so super more greasy or fattier than what they used to be and it's like the price has gotten up there little up there and the food hasn't gotten bigger.
