Order was not as described. Ordered a combo meal that was described as having noodles included, and instead was some gross congealed cabbage and undercooked chicken in it. When I called in the staff refused to resolve the issue or issue me a refund. The person on the phone just kept saying "I dont know..." and insisting that the order was correct. When I said that the menu item was described as having noodles, they tried to tell me that they didn't post the menu on their website. As if I'm stupid enough to belief that load of crap. Usually a pleasant experience. Last few times we ordered delivery. Food was a little lackluster not very hot. Only 3 miles away so.... Today I attempted to place order and they asked for phone number and I complied. The woman stated my address as I was in their system from prior orders. She said it's too far away and they wouldn't deliver? I was shocked at the response and very unhappy as we are LONG time customers both sit down and delivery. 3.6 miles 11 minutes hardly seems unreasonable. General Tso's Chicken was awesome. The size of the meal was perfect. It's the best place in the area.

I ordered from there and it was awful. All of the food was cold and my chicken literally had only about a tablespoon of mariner sauce. It had two small broccoli florets and about 7 small pieces of chicken. It looked like someone ate half of my dish. They gave a tiny bit of rice for $20 worth of food. That doesn't sound like a lot of food, and it's not, but if you look at the pic of the rice you will understand. If the food was good I may not have minded as much. The meat was oddly discolored & after a few bites I knew it did not taste right and smelled awful. I then smelled it and it was terrible. When they first opened I thought the food here was really good. Not anymore. Got the Three Flavors with brown rice. Pretty tasteless for something described with the word flavors. I picked it because it had shrimp, chicken and beef. The actual meal was mostly vegetables with chicken. Only two small piece of shrimp. I usually don't give 1 star reviews, but what multiplied the bad experience, they have a toddler loudly playing in the middle of the restaurant. The place was empty because I think they no longer have customers willing to sit and eat a meal with a child loudly running around. This is yet another place we tried via grubhub.com because our local Chinese place has regressed to the point that I'm starting to think that those jokes about cats and rodents being the main ingredients of this cuisine type might have some truth to them. We stuck with very basic Americanized choices of Crab Rangoon, General Tso, Sweet & Sour Chicken and Garlic Chicken. The Rangoon came in the shape of large triangles and they were fried hard. I'm talking crispy to the point of being an oral surgeon's dream. The filling flavor was good but the question was more could you get to it and still have all your molars when you were done trying? The S&S and the General Tso were both standard fare that were neither bad but nor were they noteworthy either. The Garlic Chicken was bizarre in that the chicken came cut in thin-ish strips that were fried hard plus they seemed very greasy/oily to the point of being almost inedible. The biggest issue here was the delivery time. Grubhub gives you a loose estimate and most times that I have ordered via their site the delivery window has been an accurate guideline but not this time. This time the delivery window was 45-55 minutes. The food showed up just shy of eighty minutes without explanation or apology which to me certainly puts the kybosh on every doing delivery from here again if not ordering all together since there so many other places close by all peddling the same stuff. read more

Solid Chinese food Restaurant. I order from there two weeks in a row once they reopened from Covid-19. They had a solid way to keep social distancing and getting your to-go orders. It's modernish and colorful design is a nice change from some of the older/buffet places in town. The food is good, too! We tried the Buddhist Feast (they were happy to add bok choy- mmm), hot and sour soup, broccoli in garlic sauce, and veg eggroll. AND they have brown rice! The prices are fantastic- all of the above was $12 and it was ready in ten minutes for pickup. They do deliver, but I'm not much for giving the credit card numbers over the phone. Best takeout chinese in this area! I have lived less than a mile away from this place for nearly 3 years, and never knew it existed until reading other Yelp reviews. So a great big thanks to all of you prior reviewers, because I am kicking myself for not finding it sooner, but so thankful I have now. This place is great! They have your standard chinese takeout foods, but they are absolutely fresh and a much higher quality than others. The broccoli in my food was good and steamed perfectly with an incredible sauce - at other places, you are lucky if you get a few stray wilted, soggy pieces. I never thought it would be so hard for a place to cook vegetables right, but this place is a cut above the rest. I'm vegetarian and the menu was a good selection, and everything was affordable. They also give generous portions. Let me also add that I am so used to chinese food being "takeout only", as the typical florescent lights and cracked linoleum floor are less than appealing. But this place has interior design that is lovely in its use of color, modern and simple design, and calm lighting. I don't think I ever see people actually sitting and eating their food at chinese places (that aren't buffets), but there were several people relaxing at the clean booths and tables. The food took only slightly longer than I am used to, but everything was obviously made fresh as soon as the order was placed, so the extra 5 minutes was easily worth it. If you are anywhere near Shoenersville road, throw away the rest of your chinese menus because this will be your new go-to place. Staying at the Sheraton Four Points Airport hotel does not leave you with many options for food. I made my order online and didn't have to speak to anyone of the sorts. It was very clear and to the point and it made the whole process that much easier (since sometimes the language barrier creates a bit of rush for me anyways) Tonights menu consisted of Chicken and Broccoli accompanied with egg drop soup and brown rice. The chicken was very full flavored and they didn't skimp out on it and load it with sauce like most places tend to do. The Broccoli was fresh and crisp and flavorful. The brown rice was nice and fresh and sticky and the egg drop soup was think and tasty. It took about 30 min from order to delivery and everything was worth the time. Mi Chongs has surpassed my expectations by offering online ordering. Yeah! Now you can order directly from their website. Or, like me, you just know what you want, live nearby, and call or drop in to get the usual. This is one of the best places for Chinese take-out in the Bethlehem area. Their prices are reasonable, it's very clean, and they're quite friendly. The interior is unique for a take-out joint. Usually you're expecting a very gaudy menu with light-up tacky photos of food dishes at take-out joints. Not here. It's very modern and bright with several booths to eat in. That sold me the first time I went here. Also, the food isn't overly sauced, the vegetables are fresh, and if they don't think their vegetable inventory is fresh, they'll tell you up front a menu option isn't available. I'd much rather have something not be available than get a questionable meal when I return home. So, thumbs up to Mi Chong's. It rocks! read more

I'll agree with the other reviews that this is the best Chinese takeout in the Allentown area. What makes this the best? The food for starters. I think they have the freshest and highest quality ingredients, especially their vegetables. They also don't drench everything in layers and layers of sauce. Both of these combine to give their dishes a better overall taste. Beyond the food, what separates them from the rest of the pack is their decor and seating area. This is more of a fast food Chinese restaurant than a takeout place. The other places in the area really cater to the takeout crowd so they have very Spartan dining areas that look right into the kitchen. That can make the place hotter plus it leaves your clothes smelling like Chinese food. Mi Chong is designed with a traditional enclosed kitchen so the smells are better contained. I've sat down and eaten at Mi Chong a couple times now and when I left I didn't have that lingering smell. I can't say that for the other places in the area where you can pick up the smell just waiting for your food to be cooked. I can't rate this higher, though, because it is missing some of my favorite dishes. read more

I was very surprised to see dishes like Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, haven't seen that in a strip mall Chinese joint before! Hot and sour soup wasn't too flavorful. My coworker loved the wonton soup. Service is very minimal - order and pay at the counter, food is brought to you on styrofoam plates and soup is brought in a plastic to-go container. You get your own utensils, sauces, and tea. Had an issue one time with a hair in my food, and whoever was on the phone yelled at me and said they didn't need my business...
