I've seen a lot of the reviews for this restaurant and I thought I would chime in. I will say from the outset that I'm concerned that I've never seen another customer inside when I've gone. I've ordered from here 3-4 times now and I've come to some conclusions. Initially, let me note that the food GENERALLY, is just ok. Not great, not terrible. **HOWEVER** The Hot and Sour soup, which is something I get 100% of the time I get Chinese food, is THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD! Seriously. It's obviously hand-crafted and contains fresh mushrooms and crunchy bits of celery adding great texture and it has a healthy serving of cilantro giving it tremendous flavor. I'm 51 and have been a Hot and Sour fan for 35 years or so and this one is just the best. There, I said it, I hope they keep making it many years into the future. read more

This was the absolute worse Chinese food experience I ever had! First, their web site for ordering pickup is terrible. Once I was able to finalize an order (about 1/2 hour later), my food was ordered. When I arrived to pick it up, the counter person went in the kitchen and returned to tell me that "they were out of chicken for my wife's sesame chicken, but she could have beef for the same price." I went to the car and asked and my wife agreed. I ordered at 6:40 PM and received the food at 7:40 PM. When we got home, her beef dish was chicken, but not sesame chicken. The food was cold and tasteless. I have had issues with this place a few years ago when ordering for delivery. Also, in the 40 minutes I waited at the restaurant for the food there was absolutely nobody eating inside and only one very small takeout order. They have seen my last penny and I am certainly not one to just say negative things about a business. This business deserved this review!. read more

This is my favorite Chinese place in the valley. Lots of flavor. Doesn't taste like typical lazy mass produced stuff. The owners are genuinely sweet people and the portions are great even for the lunch combo. I had lunch with my wife yesterday and paid less than we would have to go to McDonalds. It's so close to where I work so it's very convenient. There's something about their steamed dumplings . The portions are generous and they were delicious . I recently ordered the moo goo gai pan. It had a lot of mushrooms and other vegetables with white sauce sauteed with chicken. It was very good as well. Eva at the desk is pleasant and has great suggestions. She is also the one that cooks the food so she's a multitasker. read more

So the dumplings were good. The dinners were really awful. I got Sesame Beef and at most there was an ounce of beef Most pieces were just breading. My husband General Tso's Chicken and we said it looked like Sesame Chicken but serever said both of those look the same!! Propriet's were very nice but we won't be back. read more

This is yet another place we tried via grubhub.com because our local Chinese place has regressed to the point that I'm starting to think that chugging the used grease from the deep fryer might be the best thing that they could put on the menu. We've mostly stuck with safe choices so far at Reunion meaning the usual staples like Crab Rangoon, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Beef with Broccoli, Egg Rolls, Fried Rice, etc. Like most Chinese places around here the flavor is not the greatest but the meat quality was surprisingly good and non-grizzly and the items that were fried did not look like they were fried in the fires of hell so Holla! on that point as well. The delivery times have actually been......great! The grubhub guesstimate was 45-55 minutes and each time the food showed up in around 35 minutes. Overall Reunion is not going to blow anybody away with what they're peddling but at the same time the food was solid and the delivery time has been awesome so for now, this is our spot when we're short of our daily quota of dietary MSG. read more

I have yet to find another place that can top their general tso. I also love the fried noodles and have stopped by in the past to just pick up a bag for $1!. I plan on going again soon. My wife and I tried a few local Chinese places, some good, some not so good. Usually one thing is lacking, like the chicken is dry, or the rice was underdone. Our first experience at reunion was pretty positive, I order chicken in garlic sauce combo, my wife had sweet and sour chicken with white rice First, they let you control spice level of your food. First for me, I don't like extreme spice, so I tried mild and it was perfect. I actually wish there was a little more sauce. The veggies and chicken were cooked perfect. The fried rices was delicious, slightly Aldentale. Which I prefer. There was a TON of food. My wife's sweet and sour chicken was delicious as well, some smaller pieces were slightly over done. That's normal. She said it didn't have a heavy greasy flavor, she did say that the white rice was slightly underdone, but not enough to spoil the meal. All and all good Chinese food, I don't have the food comma I normally get from my meal. Price wise, they are slightly more expensive, but you get what you pay for. They most likely be our new Chinese restaurant of choice. read more

I stopped here to pick up some takeout. I ordered lo mein and the kung pow chicken. The kung pow chicken lacked flavor and spice. The worst part about this meal is that my family that ate the lo mein became violently ill shortly after eating it and were bed ridden the entire day puking and sipping Gatorade. This is one of our "go to" take out/delivery places. They run this $25 special, which could feed hundreds. Actually we eat three times out of it for our family of three, making it a super economical meal. Is the food good? Sure. Is it fantastic? Nah, but at that price who's complaining? I drove by the place many times and decided to stop in and try on Fri 10-12-18 I ordered the egg foo yong and shrimp, shrimp fried rice and egg drop soup. The lady who took my order was pleasant she said it would take 15-20 min it seemed more like 40 min. The lady finally brought my order and apologized for the delay said there was an issue in the kitchen. ( I was puzzled by that response) but I took my heavy bag of food and left. Upon arriving home and opening the bag I noticed the egg foo yong was dark brown and almost burnt the gravy was beige was not good, the shrimp fried rice was ok and the egg drop soup was bland no flavor at all. Super disappointed. Ordered lobster fried rice, it was actually crawfish. And only about 5 pcs in a small order. When we called they said they considered that to be lobster.... Guess what? It's not "lobster" ppl . The flavor tasted of that from a TV dinner or an American buffet. Not the traditional brown soy, great flavored Chinese fried rice you get from an authentic place. Food what you would expect from this type of restaurant.but if you order more than 1-2 meals expect a long wait time. Was told would be an hour but took two. And when called to check got run around and rude response. If I had known it would have taken two hours + I'd have gone somewhere else. Instead I was told on way but that was a lie. If you can't handle more than 3 meals per order just say so. Respect is earned by your word. And on top of that they shorted us an order. I ordered the most simple thing from a Chinese restaurant chicken wings and fries, it took 45 mins so there was no excuse for my wings being uncooked, bloody chicken wings was horrible also the fries was soggy, I called they wanted to pick up the old order and give me a new one but I wasn't interested.
