I ordered a burrito, and while it was really good and had plenty of flavor, I thought it was a little on the smaller side compared to what I was expecting. That was probably my only real complaint. The food itself was tasty and everything we had was enjoyable. Overall, Cancun Mexican Bar & Grill is a fun spot if you're looking for good Mexican food in a casual, upbeat atmosphere. We had a great time, enjoyed the food, and left happy with the experience. I'd definitely come back and try some of the other things on the menu next time!

The wait was going to be too long, though, so we opted for an inside table with a view -- which ended up being better anyway so that we could avoid the heat. Cancun boasts a large menu, and everyone got something different. I got the birria quesadilla, which was good. My only complaint is that the paper that's served under the quesadilla on the plate is very thin, and easily tore whenever I cut into the quesadilla. So I had to inspect each bite to make sure I wasn't eating paper. The flavors were great though! I'd get this again. My son also very much approved of the chicken tender plate. The margarita hit the spot, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely come back!

The staff were friendly, attentive, and service was fast. The restaurant itself is roomy and has TVs everywhere. I was able to catch a bit of a game during dinner (very appreciated). Now the most important part of the review: the food! I ordered a favorite of mine when I go Mexican. It was prepared and presented well. No negatives to report. Los Patros is now on my list for future visits.

For example, today I ordered two chicken soft tacos with extremely fresh garnishes. It was $2 Taco Tuesday so I got out the door for under $5 including a modest tip. Chipotle can't match that. The service was super friendly and very prompt. The only problem is that, at least for now, this is the only U.S. location -- it's an Australian chain that is just making inroads in the states. When we walked in, the space was bright, clean, and refreshing. They have a decent amount of seating indoors or you can get your food to go. Service was great! Super friendly and a pleasant interaction. This place functions similar to Chipotle, you pick your choices and build either a bowl, burrito, quesadilla, taco, or nachos. Let's just get this clear -- this place could easily beat a Chipotle bowl. I eat Chipotle often due to its close proximity to my house, but that might change now. Their meats are kept warm in a Dutch oven style pot and they offer a number of toppings for your entree along with several signature sauces (chipotle sauce is so good). I got a barbacoa beef bowl with white rice, black beans, sour cream, cheese, corn, and chipotle sauce. (As pictured) this bowl HIT it was so delicious I quickly devoured the whole thing. The corn had red cabbage instead of onions (they have a separate onion/cilantro topping) and that was life changing. The combination of the flavors was immaculate. The star of the show was the meat. It literally melts in your mouth: so soft and full of flavor. You can also add a side of chips and salsa/queso for a nice price with your meal. They also offer cookies and other sweets as an additional add on. Their fountain drinks were great - not watered down like some places. I recommend this place HIGHLY. I was honestly not expecting the experience I had but I was going into it blindly not knowing what to expect. We will definitely have this in our regular rotation.

No apologies. Went to my car to make a quick call because the music was loud even outside. The 2nd order was there when I got back. After eating about two bites, I realized there was a bone in the chimi - about 2-1/2" long and I became upset. We asked for the waiter, he finally came but went to check us out 1st. When I asked politely to see the manager, he walked away and came back said "he's gone..." I pointed the bone on the plate to him and I said that "it could have punctured my throat", he said "I could write it off" and I asked if there's anything else. He said "I'll take it off the bill" No apologies. Then he blamed it on the kitchen. After that, I told my son I was gonna wait in the car. Later the waiter pointed on menu to my son that "small chicken bone or pieces...might be present." He told him "It was a big bone!" This was my favorite restaurant and ate there often.
