God has allowed mankind to continue because of restaurants like this. When the Lord returns I wouldn't be surprised if he stopped here and got some enchiladas. The sun will never set on the joy this restaurant has generated in my heart. This food saved my marriage and my son told be he loved me for the first time since Christmas of '04. My family came in as a large party and allowed us to have a patio reservation, something most restaurants do not do but was much appreciated. Our server, Jesica, was the single greatest server I have ever had in my life. There is treasure laid up in heaven for that woman. She was so kind and AMAZING at her job. As it goes with a large party, we had multiple checks, dietary restrictions, and the whole rigamarole. She handled the whole thing not just with professionalism, but excellence. This might be the only Mexican restaurant in Priest River, but it's worth traveling up here (we came from Spokane) to eat at Mi Pueblo. The restaurant has booth and regular tables. The booth is a little tight, so we went for the table. They're nice and warm. The server was really nice and friendly too! She came in with chips and salsa, boy that was the best salsa I've ever had! We got queso dip too, and that was tasty. Warm cheese dip? Who can say no to that?! I ordered large combination of chimichanga and enchilada with shredded beef, my husband ordered the same thing with ground beef. I personally don't like ground beef because it's grounded too fine for me (no texture=boring) but the shredded beef was tender, rich, and amazing. The chimichanga and enchilada was STUFFED with beef, it was so good!!! I love the rice and beans too.. Excellent service and good food. I wouldn't really call it "authentic" but it was well done and I would revisit. Decor is typical, Americanized, and well-weathered bright colors and the location is convenient. Raised booths are a little awkward and the tables and benches are a big close to slip into comfortably at first. Beware the women's tap is reverse plumbed, but they added a temperature indicator light on the aerator, which clues you in that the right side is Hot when the water flows. read more

Not sure what happened to this place. We ate there May 20, 2025 for dinner and I actually had to tell them to take the food back. I have never done that. The waitress was rude, and the food was awful. My husband choked his down, but now has a bad taste for Mexican food. I had a Chili relleno which was like 3 layers of egg, almost like a 3 layer omelette. I didn't dig into the middle to even see if there was a chili in it. I also had a Tamale that was all dough, id say at least an inch and an half around. The waitress just said that's the way we cook them. Their cook and this waitress is going to ruin their business. First timer. The menu is expansive. Mild salsa is great, not soupy, but more minced. Margarita's are also good. I'd prefer they were served in traditional margarita glasses, as you don't get as much salt on a daiquiri rim, but they are good just the same. I liked that they paired the chimichanga with another item. That's what I had, chimmy and an enchilada. It was a very good meal. Will definitely be back to try other menu items. read more

The beef burrito I got had a weird sauce on it that made it taste like if a tomato threw up in my mouth. When I ordered a burrito, I didn't expect it to be sweet. Also, the flan, just don't even bother getting it. It's a gross texture that flan should not feel like and they ruin it by putting a bunch of other stuff on top of it like whipped cream and strawberry sauce and chocolate sauce. My first time at this place was pretty Good. The Pollo a la Chipotle was wonderful and the service was really fast. However we recommend a change to the menu and coming from a family of chefs I was disappointed to taste the taco meat. It was closer to a sloppy Joe type of meat. We love Mi Pueblo. Staff is very nice and customer service is great. Chips and salsa served immediately along with their pico de gayo that is different from what I'm used to but am a huge fan! We have enjoyed everything we've ordered on the menu however I do remember the Mexican pizza being a bit too cheesy for our taste. But the flavor was there. Can't go wrong with Alex burrito. Chili verde was good. My wife likes the shrimp dish (shrimp, onion, cheese with rice and tortillas. We still have a lot of menu exploring to do. For a smaller restaurant, the depth of the menu is incredible. Pretty much everything is available "al a cart" or as complete meals. Extensive menus mean little unless the food is good - and everything I've tried has been good. To be fair, I have to admit that my review is some colored as I enjoy dining at both the Priest River as well as the Spirit Lake location. The layout of the menu makes Mi Pueblo an easy choice whether you want a complete sit-down meal or a quick al a carte carry-out. The Pacific Northwest is somewhat lacking in the way of good Mexican food, and Mi Pueblo delivers when it comes to good food. Give them a try! read more

We were on a road trip driving from Moses Lake WA to Priest Lake and decided to stop here for lunch. They had a little outside patio and we really wanted to sit in the sun. The patio was in the middle of being repaired / painted so it wasn't the greatest setting. Food was average Mexican food. Prices seemed a little high for the ambiance and location, but it was a good portion size for the money. I started with a Margarita and it was too sweet for my taste. Chips and salsa were brought to the table and was very good, actually the highlight of the meal I would say. We then had fajitas, just average. Service was good. Overall just a so so stop. read more

I am only give this 4 stars instead of 5 because of how long we had to wait and that they kept forgetting to bring what we asked for ie; beer, salsa, doggie bag. They were packed but they need more servers. First I want to say the Corona they brought me was icy cold and they also bring an icy mug. It is so cold it freezes the foam. This is top notch for me. I love a cold cold beer! I had the chili verde burrito.. I have had it many times before. It is delicious. Tonight the pork was not too dry. Their verde sauce is tangy and delicious. My husband had a beef burrito plate. The beef was tender and all was delicious. He prefers the chili's verde burrito though. I keep talking about whether the meat is tender or not because every time I come here the chicken is wayyy to overcooked. I have just decided to stay away from chicken here. They begin the meal with free chips and a delicious coleslaw salsa. They end the meal with a free deep fried tortilla with cool whip and strawberry sauce. read more
