Nice little place on Francis. I grew up working in a Mexican restaurant so I'm kind of a snob when it comes to tacos. That being said, this place was "almost" perfect! I ordered three tacos de adobada - the adobo wasn't quite hitting the mark for me but I could tell this was made with love and with experience. I think the adobo sauce it was cooked in needed more cloves, salt and a little more chile guajillo (or California chiles). The cilantro and onions were chopped by hand, and you could tell they were fresh. The pork was very tender and you could tell it wasn't sitting in a pan all day. The salsa verde was ok, maybe blended too long but it was also very yummy. The tacos also came out less than five minutes after I ordered - so fast! Asked them if their horchata was homemade or powder, the owner said powder so I skipped it. If they make it homemade in the future I'll definitely be trying it. Overall a fantastic experience.

This was my first time at Fiesta Brava and I was not disappointed! I got the Steak Tacos and they were absolutely delicious. Also pictured is the California Burrito which is also amazing! Owners made me feel right at home like I had been here a thousand times already, just great service all around. Perfect place for a quick lunch or dinner.

Great tacos! Hardworking service! Just a great place to grab a dinner. I just breezed through on a work trip, but it is probably one of my favorites in Washington.

As an LA native born to a Mexican mother.... I've got high standards for Mexican food and had trouble finding anything decent, until fiesta brava! I ordered a burrito and it was fantastic. The flavor of the meat was on point as well as all the toppings I got in it. The menu itself boasted all kinds of traditional Mexican goodies like enchiladas, mole, menudo, pozole etc. They also had a bar selling margaritas and what not. The interior is humble and feels more like a quick eatery than a restaurant but that didn't take away from the experience. I'll def be returning to try out the rest of the menu!

Oh daddy, please! Taco me more! Come here for tacos and leave dreaming of more tacos. You can taste the love. We loaded up on street tacos - al pastor, barbacoa, cabeza, buche, and chorizo. Tortillas are fresh, and the tacos really didn't require any additional salsa or hot sauce because they're so flavorful (I added anyway because I love salsa). The al pastor and chorizo are especially amazing. We were recently in Texas, where tacos rule the world. These tacos would hold their own in such a world, and they most certainly rule the known taco universe in Spokane. If you're in Spokane and haven't made your way to E. Francis for some of this, you're just not in the food game.

A former drinking buddy once took time from her shitty life to tell me on Facebook how I'm going to "turn into a taco". Well, ever since that day, every time I visit a Taqueria I make it a point to tag them in my taco pics. I had just landed in Spokane and was starving' Marvin! I told my wife I wanted tacos and Taqueria Fiesta Brava was a 4.5 and holding. Obviously I had to stop in! These tacos were dead ass perfect. Two corn tortillas, meat, onion, and topped with delicious cilantro! Lime wedges on standby, shiiiiiiit, perfection. I had two barbacoa and two cabeza and the wife went nuts and ordered this absolute unit of a burrito smothered in cheese and sauce. She only made it through half of it! To this day I'm not sure whatever became of the second half. We had two hours of traveling to do so Taqueria Fiesta Brava was a much welcome pit stop. Great work!

Swing in for taco Tuesday, got eight tacos, chips and salsa, and tried out their spicy habanero salsa. The tacos were full of meat and the extra falling out was just scooped up with the tortilla chips that came with the meal. Habanero salsa packed some delicious heat and all of it for just over $12 and tax. I've been here a few times but not in the past couple years but it's just as great as I remember, I'll definitely be back sooner than later.

How wrong I was!!! We found this place on Yelp and it looked like a winner...4.7stars and right next to our hotel. We dined on a Saturday night and the place was packed...we got the last open table. I really loved the decorations inside- colorful, festive, and some really neat Dia De Los Muertos styled paintings. Our server was great and went through the menu...lots of selections. I wasn't super hungry so I got 3 street tacos (1 al pastor, 1 carnitas and 1 tinga). My son got an al pastor quesadilla and my wife got pollo tacos. The chips and salsa were good and held us over until the food came. When the food came they also brought out 3 more salsas in squeeze bottles and all of these were great too. All 3 of my street were very flavorful and all incredibly tender. Sometimes chicken and carnitas can be pretty bland but not here...these were exactly what I was looking for. My family loved their food as well and we left wishing we had a Los Habaneros Taqueria back in AZ! When I was paying for our meal at the cashier several people were picking up to go meals and heard we were from AZ visiting and both parties said we found the best spot in Spokane for Mexican food. I don't doubt them for a minute...this was dynamite.

I got the fried chicken taco wjth a hazelnut matcha butter and Gorgonzola. Which was very yummy, then I got the pork belly with an asparagus salsa. Lastly I got two of the birria tacos. Overall the two street tacos were very good, perhaps both an 8/10 but the birria tacos were a little disappointing because their dipping sauce was basically flavorless. And the whole thing desperately needed salt. I ended up ditching the sauce and just using a bottled green sauce which was very yummy. Both my coworkers who also got the birria agreed it was not very good. They stuffed the tacos full of beef tho. The service was a little funky, we came in a big group and she insisted on taking all of our order at the same time and then had us pay separately after we all ordered, that required quite a bit of shuffling around among us 7, a bit confusing. Also, I ordered a soft drink and the bartender handed me a cup that was not full. Very strange. So I asked him to top it off, and his response was "sure, but just so you know, you get free refills" like okay? So because I get free refills you don't fill the cup up? Little strange, my coworker who witnessed it also thought it was weird. Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely come back. Food 4/5 Service 4/5 Atmosphere 5/5

The food was amazing, the people were great, and I was excited to come back. Yesterday, my girlfriend and I planned a date night and decided to order from here again. Since we have kids, we did pickup. We drove about 25 minutes, then waited another 25 minutes because the line was packed which I didn't mind because the food was that good the first time. But this time? Completely different experience. I ordered a bean burrito with cheese... and it had no beans. Just rice and cheese in a tortilla. Then the nachos, honestly, for $27, this was unacceptable. Dry chips, unmelted cheese, some tomatoes thrown on top, no meat, no beans just thrown together with no care. It looked and tasted like an afterthought. What made it worse is the lack of accountability. I tried calling multiple times last night and again this morning no answer. Calls just ring or don't go through. I even tried calling from different numbers. Nothing. At this point, it's not even about the money it's the principle. Mistakes happen, but not being able to reach anyone or have them make it right is frustrating. I really wanted to keep supporting this place because the first experience was great, but this completely missed the mark. If you go, just be aware the quality and consistency might not be what you expect.
