This is usually our go-to for Mexican food, coming from Magalia, since it's close and convenient. But that's not reason enough - we wouldn't keep going if the food wasn't also delicious. And it definitely IS delicious. Their chile relleno is so fantastic. The mole is to die for. Tacos, burritos, and nachos are all great. I've enjoyed everything I've tried. Plus the service is great. Overall not the best. The enchiladas were not bad but the carne asada fries were terrible. Overcooked steak, not enough cheese, fries had no flavor, and the fish tacos were extremely "fishy" and smelly. We tried to top the food with pico but the pico has no taste sadly. Service was just fine and the staff was kind. But food needs a lot or work. read more

What a lovely little restaurant! We were visiting Paradise and Magalia for the day and found this great place. Daughter ordered Carnitas and I had the shrimp cocktail. The meal started with warm and crisp tortilla chips and fresh salsa - very good! The carnitas were flavorful and a very generous serving along with rice, beans and fresh pico. The shrimp cocktail was filled with good sized shrimp, chunks of avocado and cucumber along with a lovely salsa blend. Spicy and delicious!!! Service was quick and friendly. Service was prompt and ambiance was a full restaurant but not a single Mexican person eating in the restaurant. My wife ordered two taco plate.. the rice and beans were good.. the taco shells were like Taco Bell.. there was no cilantro and no onion and no pico de gallo. Very very greasy. She didn't finish the second taco and didn't want a to go box..... I ordered Chile Colorado plate .....as I do at most first time restaurants... ten little pieces of meat... lol laughable...my Modelo was good and my Don Julio Tequila was good but they didn't have the 1942.... We are tough critics of Authentic Mexican food... this restaurant is making Glorified Taco Bell... we had to stop in at Meehos Mexican restaurant to wash our mouths of such mediocre food. When I expressed my criticisms... the lady server... asked us to please don't come back... lol We definitely won't.... Lol read more

So glad to have a good sit down Mexican restaurant up here, I would gladly change my rating to 5 stars once they get dialed in. Service was pleasant but a little unorganized. My wife got the steak and chicken fajitas and I ordered the chili verde, my wife's plate was packed full and very tasty, my plate seemed more like a lunch special not the amount I'm use to getting at most restaurants, don't get me wrong the chili verde was very good and I was full but I finished the whole plate. I highly recommend this place for sure, and to the owners signage is your best friend and maybe more decor inside to make it feel a little more homey. read more

Good to have a restaurant opening in our town. Love Mexican food anyway. Saw people talking about this place on social media. All thought the food was great. Someone thought it was odd that they close from 2 to 4. Found out it was to take care of family. I absolutely loved that they do that. We decided to give it a try for future reference, must say, not impressed. The food was ok, kinda bland and basic. Customer service was ok as well. Has a weird conservative vibe to it. The cashiers ( latina) gave off a weird vibe when she heard me speak to her in Spanish. Can't say we we'll return. read more

Delicious! Go check these guys out, they don't have a lot of signage yet but they are open for business! We went for breakfast today because it's my birthday. My Dad ordered the breakfast chimichanga with chorizo and red sauce and I ordered the breakfast burritos de mi Rancho with bacon. The burrito came with Rancho potatoes and the chimichanga came rice and beans and pico de gallo. The service was good and both dishes were yummy. They gave me a flan and balloon for my birthday too. This is the same couple who used to run El Rancho restaurant (where the Comeback Diner used to be on Clark Road) before the fire. read more
