I decided on the tacos del mar with shrimp. What a treat, this is where the south meets Mexican cuisine. The shrimp was prepared in a roux that went with the traditional cabbage and cotija cheese. While I skipped the rice (not my thing), I devoured everything else on that plate. The veggies were fresh, the chicken well seasoned, the cheese was tasty, and the beans were very good. It was one of the best meals I had had from a Mexican restaurant in a long time. The second visit I ordered three street tacos, one carnitas, one al pastor, and one chicken. The chicken and carnitas were good, but the al pastor was to die for. So juicy, fresh, and hearty, next time I will be getting three of those. The corn tortillas you could tell were also homemade and it was just a great meal. Both visits I got margaritas, which for me were very good and reasonably priced. I will give a little ding here, on the French fries with the steak, the jalapeño peppers were obviously jarred. I would have preferred freshly sliced and hit on the flat grill for a moment. Another, their sauces came in packets. Again, this place is amazing, but fixing those two small items would have made here amazing squared. Again, it is a food truck, so there was no seating.
