My Daughter purchased a dress from Mia Bella The Label last year for her junior prom so she decided to return this year to find her senior year prom dress so on 4/1/2025 The employee (who was very kind) brought a few dresses to the fitting room but the who I'm assuming is owner or manager very clearly asked employee to remove dresses from fitting room because my niece would stretch out the dresses and was not aloud to try them on. My heart is hurting for my niece, this lady in pink turned what was en exciting day for her into a traumatic experience for her by body shaming her, she's only 17. Buyer beware. We ordered a $650 dress in January. They did not ship it until February 24th. It arrived with a stuck/faulty zipper. We returned it and they will not issue a credit stating it was worn. I LOVED my experience at this shop. I've been hunting for my wedding dress for a month now and tried on countless gowns. I was going to come last Sunday, and the owner Debbie even offered to come in on their day off but I told her no no please I can come in on a Saturday (today!) I came in with my mother and grandma in law and we got to work in scoping out the websites and their own recommendations. There was a private area just for myself and our party to watch me come out of the dressing room, ring light and mirrors to see the gowns from every angle! Debbie was so attentive, supportive and provided everything I needed going through this process. They were blasting Taylor swift throughout the store and as a swiftie myself, let me tell you that this added to the experience. Despite receiving an email on May 3, 2024, stating that the order was on its way with a shipping label created, subsequent attempts to obtain updates proved futile. Despite my daughter's inquiries, including an offer to physically collect the dress due to the imminent prom date, the situation remained unresolved. Ultimately, on May 10, 2024, the order was inexplicably canceled, with the explanation that the dress was "out of stock." This sequence of events is deeply disappointing and falls far short of acceptable standards of customer service. Furthermore, our visit to your physical location at 1728 W Bullard Ave, Fresno CA 93711 was equally disheartening. The ambiance of the store, coupled with the apparent apathy of the staff, was utterly unacceptable. It is profoundly disappointing that a milestone event such as my daughter's senior prom was marred by such incompetence and indifference on the part of your establishment. The lack of communication and professionalism displayed throughout this ordeal is unacceptable. This has been the worst company to buy from! I purchased 2 dresses and 2 accessories. The accessories came timely but one was broken. The dresses both arrived way later than promised on their website. I ordered them in March and they arrived in May and could no longer be used for the event I needed them for. The company said accessories were not refundable, but I received it broken and immediately sent pictures. It was a bow that was not slightly broken, it was in two pieces and couldn't be clipped in at all. Then they refused to refund the dresses and offered store credit. After going back and forth, they agreed to return the dresses as they were delivered very late. I followed the instructions provided, they sent two shipping labels but the dresses were purchased together as one purchase and shipped together. I sent the dresses back in the original packaging and included all the paperwork for both dresses that I was provided with. The package was delivered and they only refunded one dress and stated that they don't have the other dress since I didn't ship them separately. Wow! So happy I found Mia Bella for my wedding dress- I was getting disappointed with the choices in Fresno ( def. not the fashion capital of the state) ... and needed a dress in 4 months. As soon as I walked in (had an appointment) I was greeted and was lucky enough to meet and work with the owner Debbie- she is AMAZING! She literally made the experience so easy- as I was all alone -no mom or friends to experience this with . She knows her stuff and is an industry pro and won't sell you to sell you. What a horrific experience. My daughter, niece and I went to this establishment on August 5,2023. My daughter was looking for an engagement party dress for September 23, 2023. The dress that she found cost close to $400.00. I SPECIFICALLY asked a person named "Debbie " if the dress would arrive on time. I was met with a very smug response. Red Flag. We were told the dress would ship from New York, and arrive within two weeks. After two weeks, with no update or dress, my daughter called. She was told a myriad of stories. The dress is shipping from China. The designers mother had surgery.... And no dress from New York. Debbie made Zero calls. All came from my daughter. After 2 successful purchases online, we drove 2 hrs to purchase one last dress for my daughter's senior year. As the previous reviews stated, we were not welcomed and we were not acknowledged. My 7 yr old son needed to use the restroom and they refused to allow him to do so. We then had a Selena/Pretty Woman moment when my daughter wanted to try on a dress and we were told "Before I take it down I just want to let you know it's over $1000 dollars ". The white mothers and daughter's were treated with care and given great customer service. I will look further into pursuing what I can in terms of their discriminatory practices. They definitely chose the right one. The owner wasn't apologetic and actually co signed the behavior of her staff. She showed no emotion, though her face didn't move so I could be mistaken. Take your business elsewhere, and I encourage those with the same experience to continue speaking up. I wish I could give negative stars. My daughter ordered a prom dress from Mia Bella. She called to verify that the dress was in store and that if she ordered it she would get the in-store dress. We ordered the dress and paid for expedited delivery. When a week passed without any delivery and no communication, she reached out and was told that they gave the in-store dress to someone else and Mia Bella ordered a new dress that was being shipped in from somewhere else. We called and emailed, no responses. Of course that dress did not make it in time. To make things worse, I called to cancel the order and ask for a refund AND then they decided to send the dress AFTER! I did a claim reversal and THEN I finally got an email communication. They asked me to remove the claim and they would refund me in full. Total scam. They told the bank that the dress was delivered and my bank reversed the claim. When I called Mia Bella, I was told that it would take up to 75 days to process a refund for the dress! This is such poor customer service. Why am I waiting two and a half months for a refund on a dress I never received? I wish I could post pictures on here of the email Mia Bella sent asking me to reverse the claim so they could give me a full refund. This store is deceptive. I was told in the store that they didn't have the dress in the store and I had to go online to order it; I was also told if it's in stock it would receive within 2 days. A week went by and I asked customer service for the status of the dress I was told it would be shipped on Tuesday. A week went by and I asked customer service when would I receive it and they said Tuesday, on Wednesday I went to the store to pick it up and they said it's not there to come back tomorrow, on Thursday they advise me the order was not shipped. This whole experience was a mess. I originally thought from the time it would be shipped, it was only going to take two days to reach the store. I had to order the dress myself, there's no communication between customer service and the customer except by email, and the store does not answer the phone. Overall I had a terrible experience, and because they only communicate via email (they responded the next business day) and not by phone and it's not convenient for me to drive to the store I would not come back. I wish I could do 3 different reviews for store, staff and alterations because Mia Bella and the team there hits it out of the park all categories - 5 stars all around! Debbie, Rose and Caroline are amazing, friendly and so helpful in finding the right dress for your body type. My sister's wedding was in September and I must've ordered 8 different dresses from Neiman Marcus, made several trips to SF and LA and I still wasn't sold on the 2 dresses I was settling on from my NM order. It isn't the easiest finding great dresses I larger sizes, so I wasn't really looking forward to trying on more dresses, but I'm so happy I let my mom 'twist my arm' because I ended up with 2 amazing dresses from Mia Bella with less than a month's time from the wedding. Debbie showed me a Jovani dress I fell in love with and my mom found another Jovani dress Debbie ordered. Even though my second dress was a size bigger than I wanted, Rose (the alteration queen ) worked her magic and made the dress fit like a glove. I LOVE MIA BELLA and everyone there. I have been going to Mia Bella since 2016. The selection in-store isn't as big as other gown shops, but they are able to order pretty much anything for you, and have it in the store in less than 2 weeks. The first gown I bought from there was a white, strapless Jovani gown with an over skirt - it was the first out of 10 gowns I tried and I was set on it from the first time I put it on. This was in 2016, and I believe it was Shelby who helped me! She was very patient and provided honest input to make sure I picked the right gown. The second time I bought a gown from here was 2018. The customer service experience was dramatically different. Was not greeted instantly, and the woman (slightly order, forgot her name) just pulled a couple gowns and went away because she "had a project to work on". Didn't feel the same amount of care as the first time I was here, and I felt like she was just trying to sell a gown - not considering the entire experience. Also, I fell in love with a magenta Jessica Angel gown and the display fit me perfectly. But since I lived in San Jose and visiting Fresno was unpredictable, I didn't want to risk ordering it and not being able to make the trip to pick it up (especially with about a month away until my pageant) So, I asked if I could buy the display for a discounted price. I would've taken even $20 off! But the lady said no. The facility itself is very clean and the gowns are organized by color. I'll still refer to them in the future, but after visiting shops like Noell and the official Jovani store in Southern California, I'd probably make the trip there instead. read more

Horrible experience. sign for pkg snd you gave 48 hours to request petmission to return item. then 5 business days to get it to Mia Bella The Labrl. ( normally a few weeks & no permission. needed on a short period of time) then they take 10% "restocking fee"!! once you pass the 48 hrs and don't request a Return #, you are out of luck. The dresses they carry are also on many other online sites. I ordered since they were $15 less but didn't read their policy and the restocking fee would have been $47! Not sure why this store has such low reviews. I was in a tight jam, I have to attend an event in 2 weeks and every dress I wanted turned out to be unavailable at other stores. I looked at stores online, designer websites and chatted with several boutiques. Sadly, it looked like I was going to go to this event without a new dress. I almost lost hope. I reached out to MIA BELLA the Label an hour after the store closed, chatted with Candace. I told her my situation and my dire need to have a dress asap. Candace chatted with me for a few hours, making sure I get the exact size I needed and that I would be able to get it in time. Candace was very patient and extremely helpful. She told me that she would get the dress to me Friday no later than Monday. The following day, she did inform me there could be a delay, so I may get it Monday or Tuesday. However, she really hoped to get the dress to me on Friday, but she wanted to be transparent with me about the situation. Well, everything worked in my favor, Candace informed me right away that she got the dress on Thursday. She proceeded to tell me that she would be mailing it out the same day and that I would get it on Friday. True to her word, I got the dress the following day, aka today. I feel so relieved knowing that I have a dress for this event. I just hope it fits properly because I am very worried about the sizing issues, but I will be seeing a seamstress soon to make sure adjustments can be made. Thank you again Candace for your help. I scheduled a bridal appointment here and it was absolutely terrible. The sales girl didn't help me into or out of any of the dresses. She didn't even try to suggest dresses to me. I made contact with an associate of Mia Bella The Label on 3/12/22 and placed an order for my daughter's Sweet 16 dress. I called on 3/28 because the dress had not arrived and no updates were received. When I called a lady-I misplaced her name answered. I inquired about the dress and she said "I canceled that order". I questioned why and she said because I don't have an x-small. I then ask for a small. She said I have another dress here in small but it's accounted for. I will just help you look for a different dress. When questioned if anyone called, sent an e-mail or text to inform me? Her exact words were "I sent a refund don't you look at your bank statement!"
