Someone could certainly get a killing of FTRs by adding and reviewing the 21 stations. The Metromover is a free transportation network and the Tenth Street/Promenade Station is on the Brickell Loop. The preceding station is Brickell (towards the Financial District) and the next station is Brickell City Centre (towards Downtown). Nearby this station are Brickell City Centre and the 1101 Brickell Building and 1010 Brickell and the Brickell Federal Building. The station is handicapped accessible with stairs and an elevator from street level to the elevated platform. The platform is an island with two tracks, so the doors will open on the left. The escalators and elevators at various train stations often do not work either. Do not count on Metrorail to be operable and have a backup plan (Uber) at all times. I would give Metrorail zero stars if that were an option.

But it is very similar to what other cities call Subway. I guess since Miami can not run much underground construction, the MetroRail is all above ground. The one way ticket is $2.25, but you can get a full day pass for $5.65, which allows for unlimited transfers between metrorail and buses for one full day...if you get a $2.25 ticket, you will have to pay another $2.25 when you transfer. We loved how clean the trains were, the AC was working very well when we got on. We were even a bit cold inside the train. The signage on approaching stations is very good and the maps and routes printed on the inside of the trains are very useful. The Metrorail offers one easy ride to get you where you need to go. Be from Downtown Miami and Brickell to Coconut Grove and South Miami as well as a quick trip to the airport. There are two distinct rail lines that depart from the Dadeland South station on US1. The Orange line ends at Miami International Airport and back. The Green line runs further up north with connections to the Tri-rail and Virgin MiamiCentral. There are stops along each route at many of Miami's top attractions such as Coconut Grove, Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, Brickell, the Lyric Theater, Hialeah and more. Metrorail opened in 1984 and it is Florida's only rapid transit metro system. It is composed of two lines of 23 stations on 24.4 miles of track. Metrorail serves the urban core of Miami, connecting Miami International Airport, the Health District, Downtown Miami, and Brickell with the northern developed neighborhoods of Hialeah and Medley to the northwest, and to suburban The Roads, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, and South Miami, ending at urban Dadeland in Kendall. Expect to wait 10+ minutes on a packed platform just for a single car to roll by.Useless Tech: The digital arrival screens are completely inaccurate. They will say a train is 1 minute away for 15 minutes straight.Constant Outages: It feels like the entire loop is constantly out of service or suffering from technical glitches. The frequent weekend and morning closures for system upgrades have made it entirely dependable on failing.It's an embarrassment to Miami-Dade transit. Skip it unless you have hours of free time to waste standing around a station.

We came to support one of my friends who recently got into stand up comedy (shoutout to Dao N!) and had a feature in the comedy show for the first day of this event. We came in the afternoon on a Friday of the festival (the first day) and it wasn't terribly busy. The area that the convention center is in an area that's a little crowded (what area of Miami isn't, let's be real) and is formatted a bit odd. The entrance was easy to find and I drove to the gate where the signs were pointing to. When we got to the gate, there was a flat fee for parking and we were told to go around the building and we wouldn't miss the entrance. Driving around the building was ... interesting, there were cars parked all which ways but overall pretty easy to find where we were going. We were able to park in the main lot and there were tons of parking spaces! The festival was easy to find and we went inside with ease. Overall, the space for the convention was great! They had a room for vendors and another room specifically for local artist vendors. Upstairs was were they held most of their events. It didn't feel too overcrowded and the staff was pretty friendly and helpful. Overall, a great space for this pretty large convention.

The convention has a parking lot. It is $7 cash for parking. If you want close parking I recommend to come twenty minutes early before it starts. It he's crazy busy. I got my ticket online. I suggest to get here early. The lines are long to get in. They check your bags and use metal detectors. This is a casual event. I did noticed some of the attendees dressed pretty sexy and getting into character. A good place to take pictures, they pose. Inside this is what you can expect No judging, webcams, vendors, shows, pops, food, classes, stars, performers, lingerie, toys and the dungeon room. It is an experience to be here. What is cool about this place is that a chance to learn new things from professionals that will explain it in a professional and respectful way. If you have a question about a product it is answered in a professional way. For me that was important . I felt completely comfortable. I am not a person who frequence adult stores and this is my second year attending this conference.

The driving directions and street signage were confusing, and we ended up making a wrong turn that took us to the opposite side of the port. I definitely recommend giving yourself extra time to navigate traffic, parking, and any unexpected detours--Miami traffic and road layouts can be a little chaotic! Once we arrived at the correct terminal, everything went smoothly. The port is large, and the parking garage appears to be fairly new with plenty of covered parking spaces. At $35 per day, it's more expensive than some nearby parking options, but for the convenience and proximity to the terminal, I thought it was well worth it. Check-in was quick, organized, and surprisingly easy. The waiting area was spacious and very clean. I didn't notice any charging stations or wall outlets for electronic devices, but fortunately, we didn't have to wait long before boarding. Overall, despite the confusing drive into the port, the actual check-in and boarding process was excellent. We'd definitely cruise from PortMiami again, just with a little extra time built into our arrival!

One of Miami-Dade County's general avaition airports, as well as the US Coast Guard's Air Station,…read moreI was at Opa Locka Airport this past Saturday for the MIA Runway 5K / 10K series along with a few friends from the gym & a running group I'm in. The airport itself is geared towards business & military. Besides the Coast Guard Air Station, there are at least 3 private aviation terminals - the FBO's Drake refers to in his magnum opus "Sicko Mode" (translation: terminals for private jets.) I also vaguely remember having been to an air show here back in 1988 when I was yay tall. Back to the present day, the Miami Dade Aviation Department hosted one of their "Runway 5K / 10K races " on one of the runways. I ran the 10K, keeping a 10:20 minute/mile pace. The race was run on the concrete runways and taxiways (the two loops). This was a perfectly smooth surface to run. There were various water stations along the course. A few things could have been improved. I saw pictures of last year's race and they had a few displays that let people get closer to the planes for photo opps. That would have been fun! Likewise, the post-race snack area was broken down between 5K and 10K. Even at the the 10K area, we were limited to just two items and they didn't have bananas (great for recovery.)

I still think a bad review is warranted because Miami International Airport is the worst designed airport in the country and certainly the worst I have ever been to. To even get to the MIA mover you have to walk ALOT. What would make it better would be if the moving walkways... would work... but of course they were not. So I walked a heck of a lot, to then be transported by this shuttle, and then walk even more till I got to the rent a car place. My mother is elderly and needs wheelchair assistance to get from one part of the airport to another. Unfortunately, wheelchair assistance will not take her in through here. We had to leave her with some of the bags as we navigated our way to the rental car place, so that we can then drive to pick her up and the bags. I swear I had a headache by the end of this experience... which only got worse when I got to the rental car center. Seriously? Who thought this was a good idea? Who designed this airport? What fool thought this was a good idea!?!?! At the very least the train was working, I cannot imagine how pissed off someone would be if they walked all the way to the mover only to find it was not in operation.

Look for signs that will guide and direct you to the Mia Mover Shuttle The Mia Mover is only one stop away from the airport. It's a nice short ride and the view is picturesque. Every one needs to get off and then figure which terminal and proceed from there.
