The main criticism is that the trains don't come frequently enough! As to the actual station, as usual for a Tri-Rail station there's not enough benches... or trash cans. The Metro-side's construction often takes too long and I'm seriously concerned about the accessibility as a result. In addition, there's also so much anxiety if the train is coming and the trains don't run late enough. But it's such a net positive to have rail options (with signage and audio message in three (3!) languages) in this urban-surburban-car-dominated-megaopolis - and I support it fully and want MORE investment in stations like this to make it better - and have two lines cross like this is superb.

Use Uber ? The choice that you make can save you big Bucks! My wife happen to read reviews of the orange line on Miami Metro Line. You can catch the orange line right at Miami International airport. The orange line stops just a few blocks away from our hotel. And guess what ? A one way ticket is only $2.25 . There were security officers at the ticket machine to help anyone who needed help. So the two of us to get to the hotel only cost us $4.50 total. I have to say that the Metro Line wasn't new by any means, nor the fastest, but it was clean ! For the price of &4.50 for two it cant be beat! There was plenty of security at the airport as well as all along the ride to the hotel. So the next time you fly into Miami International airport, keep a open mind and consider Miami's Metro Line for your transportation needs. I'm glad we did!

Once we arrived at the correct terminal, everything went smoothly. The port is large, and the parking garage appears to be fairly new with plenty of covered parking spaces. At $35 per day, it's more expensive than some nearby parking options, but for the convenience and proximity to the terminal, I thought it was well worth it. Check-in was quick, organized, and surprisingly easy. The waiting area was spacious and very clean. I didn't notice any charging stations or wall outlets for electronic devices, but fortunately, we didn't have to wait long before boarding. Overall, despite the confusing drive into the port, the actual check-in and boarding process was excellent. We'd definitely cruise from PortMiami again, just with a little extra time built into our arrival!

This route circles the entire South Beach area and it has been one of the best services that you can find in the beach. It is so convenient! If you are ever on one end of the beach and want to get to the other the best way to get there is to just hop on the Local. No need to walk in our 90+ degree weather or move your car if it really is in a great parking spot. Cons -What keeps it from being a 5 star rating? Although most buses are in good shape, there are a couple that are dirty..graffiti, wear and tear and I know I have seen a couple of roaches in the back of one bus. ick. Sometimes the buses don't run 10-15 minutes apart, they are back to back, so you have to wait ages for the next one to pass by. But that is the exception not the norm. Pros - It is only 25 cents. It goes down West Ave from Publix and then down Alton and up Washington and through Dade Blvd. Depending on the time of day it runs every 10-15 minutes. It has a/c. For those who ride a bike, they do have a bike rack in the front of the bus. Great for going to the beach if you live on the west end. It normally is not very packed and all sorts of people use it. Not like the the metromover in downtown/brickell which serves as housing for our homeless population at times. All in all very good service for a very important local convenience. Check it out.

Located on the east bound side of I-75 (headed towards Miami), the rest stop can be accessed from both directions from I-75. Whether you are driving through, pass, or stopping in, this overall area is special in that you find yourself in the Florida Everglades. You will be able to see the intricate tributaries that stretch across the glades/swamp land as you're driving into the rest stop. Fishermen can be spotted fishing along the on/off ramps of the rest stop reflecting the coveted local fishery. While you won't find convenient stores or restaurants at this rest stop, it makes up for in the educational displays and 40-foot tower and multi-level boardwalk complex that stretches across a quarter mile. This site serves as an arboretum and outdoor wetland exhibit through which the boardwalk offers improved walking trails through. As you walk through the area, you will be able to observe and spot the native flora and fauna. It's definitely a great way to stretch your legs, while the multi-level boardwalk is ADA/wheelchair/stroller friendly and accessible. You can also bring your leashed pets through this area. Of course there are restrooms and light vending machines available, but that is not the key feature to this rest stop. Don't miss the chance to check out this unique rest stop and get a peak into the natural beauty of the glades! Highly recommend making this once-in-a-lifetime stop if you're travelling along this route.

Cruise Virgin if you do not want to hear or see children! Was supposed to cruise Meraviglia for my son's 21st bday but the pandemic hit. Took us 2 years to get our money back from that crazy! Then I booked the family all rooms in the Yacht Club for Xmas one year. Was told by my concierge at the time (who unbeknownst to me was quitting his job) and he told me 120 days out or more was a refundable cancellation. Well guess what ppl-it's not! I didn't read my papers b cuz I trusted his word-so I got screwed out of $1200 in deposits b cuz we had to cancel. I still cruised MSC. Still said I'd take my son on MSC. Decided to go Yacht Club this time. WORLD AMERICA! Ship is beautiful. Staff is friendly-our butler was overworked. He had 3 jobs and was never available to help us when we called. Twice we actually reached him and he said call the concierge. My yacht club bedding had a hole in it and had a yellow color to it in spots. For $11k I do not think you should see that kind of linen. I couldn't charge my wheelchair b cuz u need an adapter to go to a US plug. That wasn't on my paperwork. That became a "thing". Day 2 I saw a $140 charge for 2 of the 3 of us. The 3rd day all 3 of us had it. So that ruined day 3 for me b cuz I also didn't see that on my paperwork. $420 a day for gratuities and we can't get any service! ????Found out that was an error. It's only one time and no option to opt out of that. Couldn't use the pool cuz there were kids jumping in it. Which also is not Ada friendly without the use of the lift! No walk in steps-just 2 ladders which u can barely hold onto with wet hands! That pool is also like swimming in a metal rectangle pan from a heated prep line! Very small - especially with kids jumping in it! My son was denied service at lunch dressed in his white outfit b cuz he had no sleeves by day. But lots of young boys running around in speedos. Girls of all ages with bikinis that barely cover their parts and a netted something over it. But my son's sleeveless white shirt and white linen pants are not acceptable for lunch!???! Did I mention, LOTS OF KIDS IN THE YACHT CLUB ALSO! (That wasn't on my paperwork either)! But there is! Must fall under the whole kids sale free thing! That should not occur! There's also teen kids that discover the pool door opens and lets them in and they can use the stairs to go between floors of the Yacht Club! Saw them order drinks and snacks never showing a card and then they went and chilled on the pool deck. I did say - Never showing a card, right!? We wanted to eat lunch in air conditioning so we ate in the lounge one day. The next time, we were asked to sit in a corner and asked to move to said corner to eat. A tribe of children came in and sat out by the window where we were and they were allowed to EAT, climb all over the furniture, put their hands all over the windows and mess with the lights while their parents slept on a sofa! Guess we are the wrong nationality!? Our eating was more disruptive than that?! Still trying to understand these things. Only American music was heard on 70-80's night. When u ask the DJ to play some American music - he says "like what"?!!!? Food is still just as tasteless as the others and getting food or drink to your room is inconsistent. But omg! They nail pizza! By inconsistent I mean, from where or when, etc when ordering. If you are lucky your drinks won't take an hour to arrive and will still have ice in them. I did not check out the casino b cuz it looked small and my hubby said "no new games"! It's a new ship! Y are there no new games!?????! We managed to get the only uncovered balcony on the row! Day 2 I was sitting on the balcony to have cleaning water from above brushed overboard onto my head! The next morning I woke to see a card under my door about balcony cleaning that day. Lolol! Like I didn't know that was coming! The next day we don't take off until 6:30 pm from our room. At 9:40 pm we return to find an invitation to a bourbon and chocolate tasting at 8 pm-that evening, which obviously had already occurred. The Metrorail comes in here but over the last thirty years as the City of Miami has evolved so has their central station. Years ago it was Government Center and I would connect to the metro mover. Now as Downtown has changed this truly is the main station. I come into here from Miami Airport to get to Downtown. Also it backs up into Brightline which is around the corner literally steps away. Lastly all the City buses come through here around the building there is a place a block up for the buses that go 595, in front of the building is buses going every ten minutes or so to the Golden Glades than a few steps from that at the side entrance to Metrorail is the 95 express buses. This place is literally a pu pu platter for all your transportation needs in and out of the City of Miami. I highly recommend it as parking is getting increasingly harder to find as well as expensive. You can get monthly passes which make it even more affordable if you come here daily as I do. Also across the way is a brand new Einstein's for a quick morning bite. It is very well lite in the area so don't let the name Overtown fool you it seems very safe. So far so good.
