We chartered three (3) buses from USA Caribbean Tours Corp to take our students to Universal…read moreStudios for Grad Night on May 1, 2026--and what followed was an absolute disaster. The buses showed up late, and literally as soon as we left the school, one of them broke down. All three buses had to pull over and wait. That should've been our first warning sign. Eventually, we were told it was "fixed" and got back on the road. Keep in mind--we had to be at Universal by 4:00 PM, it was already 1:00 PM, and it's about a 4-hour drive. Do the math. About an hour later, the SAME bus breaks down again. This time we're stuck at a rest stop, where we're told that ALL THREE buses have no air conditioning. Yes--no A/C, in Florida, in 90-degree weather. A bus full of students and chaperones just sitting there sweating. Totally acceptable, right? After waiting around 45 minutes for a "mobile mechanic" to change a filter, we're back on the road... briefly. Not long after, the bus starts failing AGAIN and can barely go 15 mph on the Turnpike. Now we're not just uncomfortable--we're a safety hazard, backing up traffic so badly that a Florida Highway Patrol trooper has to escort us off the road. At the next stop, we're told the bus is done. The other two buses leave, and we're stuck waiting for a replacement. The driver casually mentions it's his FIRST time driving a double-decker bus and that he's nervous. That definitely made everyone feel better. (Sarcasm.) We're told the backup bus is over an hour away. Time passes. It finally shows up around 7:30 PM--and here's the best part: the replacement bus arrives DAMAGED...CRASHED!!! The driver had gotten into an accident on the way to us and was missing a headlight and part of the front of the bus. You honestly can't make this up. At that point, the trip is a lost cause. The kids completely miss Grad Night, and the decision is made to head back to Miami... on that same damaged bus, at night, with no headlight. Completely safe, right? We finally got back around 10:00 PM after nearly 10 hours of this chaos. The entire event was ruined. And if you think the experience couldn't get worse--the company's response was completely nonchalant. Parents tried calling the number listed online (305-323-6939) and got a disconnected line. When I finally reached a manager ("Dani"), she downplayed everything, claimed she only knew about "intermittent A/C issues," and acted surprised about the breakdowns and the crashed replacement bus--then asked me to send photos because she didn't believe it. So here you go--photos included. Sending it here so EVERYONE CAN SEE!!!!!! Bottom line: this company clearly does not maintain their buses, their A/C doesn't work, their drivers are inexperienced, and apparently accidents don't even get reported. Worst of all, they don't seem to care. There are plenty of other charter companies in Miami. Do yourself a favor and use literally any of them instead. This is their USDOT Number: 3650940 and MC-1452531

A man named Jose (last 4 digits of his number: 2915) approached us on the boat claiming two people had won a raffle. We weren't the winners at first, but then he pulled us aside and said we actually won, only they "couldn't pronounce our names properly." Later, I found out they do this same trick with multiple people--it's all a setup. Jose told us the prize was a free 7-day, 8-night trip and that we only had to attend a short 90-minute presentation. The next day at the hotel, everything changed. The "free trip" suddenly had hidden fees, deposits, and conditions. The presentation dragged on for over 150 minutes, not 90, and the staff there treated us rudely when we refused their membership. This isn't a raffle. It's a bait-and-switch scheme to lure tourists. The boat staff know exactly what they are doing and are complicit in pushing people toward this scam. Don't fall for it--you will waste your vacation time, your energy, and be left feeling lied to.

He made a few calls and came back with this company. I think Sun Island is the parent of See Miami Tours. Whatever the name, we had a great time! The driver, Andrew, picked us (me, wife, son, and daughter) up at our hotel in a large modern, comfortable van. Andrew was very friendly and he knew his stuff. It's one thing to be informed on Miami history, culture, and trends. If you ever needed to build a trivia team but lacking on Southern Florida expertise, Andrew would be your guy. While being informative is helpful, what made our experience enjoyable was Andrew's hospitality. He was extremely kind and courteous in making sure we were satisfied. He answered all my questions of curiosity. He gave insights that not many could have given. After being picked up in Ft Lauderdale, he drove us to Coconut Grove and then to Little Havana (where we had a chance to get out and be among the Cuban influence). We then went through downtown Miami and were given an option to be dropped off by the harbor or on South Beach. It was a no-brainer for us as we wanted to see South Beach. So we were given about six hours on our own at South Beach. The timing worked perfectly for us as we ate lunch (great Cuban place - Puerto Sagua), walked all around South Beach, squeezed in a dinner, before being picked up and driven back to FtL. We enjoyed this experience very much. I highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Miami or nearby. In particular, if you have a chance to tour with Andrew as your guide, I would seize that opportunity. We squeezed in many sights during our tour, but it was done at the right pace and with superb guidance. Thank you!

The gentleman picked up my family 6 adults from Miami airport on time and drove us to The Elser Hotel. The next day your service drove us to the cruise port. Great service! One week later we return from the cruise I call to let them know we are waiting I'm told 7-10 minutes and the driver not only was an hour late but he has other passengers in the vehicle. I didn't complain about his tardiness or that my ride should have been private. When he dropped us back at The Elser I called VIP to arrange for an earlier pickup the next day afraid that the driver would be late again. I asked for a 5:00pm pickup and once again the car was late. He finally showed up at 5:15 or so and once again more passengers are in our private car. I proceeded to ask for his name and he refused 3 times before saying his name was Carlos. I really don't believe that was his name. I can say that he was rude, unprofessional and a wreak-less driver. I also would like to add that on both days the father figure of the others in the car proceeded to help him put our luggage in and out of the vehicle which I find strange unless of course he was transporting them without VIP knowing. "Carlos" might have a side job going that VIP is unaware of. In my opinion this man should not be working for any reputable car service.

It was funny because the driver was really friendly and handed his cards out to the group, asking for a review. I'm sorry but if you don't keep the bus clean, are rude, and have us wait for over an hour before departure from the port when there is another empty coach available to take passengers to the very same airport the only tip you're getting from me is how to handle customer service better. The transfers cost $30/pp which was $10 cheaper than the limo service we took down to the port in the first place. I'm happy to have saved $20, BUT would have gladly spent the extra for a more pleasant and prompt ride.
