It's been a while since I've ice skated but it wasn't hard to pick up again…read more For Miami Beach residents, it's only $5.00 for 2 hours on a Sunday afternoon between 3-5pm. if you're able to use hockey skates, they have those too which is what I prefer. They have other public skate days so check out their schedule to learn what they are. Bring gloves as it can be a bit on the chilly side, and you definitely don't want to freeze your butt off for those 2 hours. Plus if you happen to slip and fall, your hands will stay warm. Also, come with a jacket and maybe a couple layers; no one has fun while shivering. When I arrived at 4pm, there was only an hour left to skate and the condition of the ice was already hacked. I think they should resurface the ice between the 2 hours as it would make the experience much more enjoyable; it wouldn't take more than 10 mins or so...at least the outer edge where most people skate around and not the center area. Sure it's much slicker, but the way the ice was...you would be tripping over holes that would catch your skates out of no where. Most of the skaters were from young children 3 years told to men in their 50s or so who can really skate. Kinda how I-95 is with so many different drivers with so many different skills; it could be a formula for a head on.

Everyone was so friendly and patient with this novice. But I'm so excited to go back and check out the ice rink and other amenities.

And they are working on getting snacks up and running. Interested in playing? Sure you are. Well then don't show up before 6pm but know that you might be able to stay until 6am. Midnight Soccer anyone? There are currently no leagues but there is a plan in the works to add one. Inside is very spacious and has 4 large fields which are available to rent. Each one is separate and they even had another room for what looks like pickle ball. All the areas are fully enclosed so no worrying about balls or other items flying into other areas. There is food and beverages being offered but I will say go at your own risk. Didn't look like food was their focus as it shouldn't be but since it being offered then standards should at least be met. I wasn't impressed but your miles may vary. But food aside the location is a great option to bring your kids, soccer team, or even host a birthday party. There should definitely be more indoor soccer places like this around.
