not worth the $18 entrance fee. the pool was dirty and not well maintained. I expected better from a pool where the fee is SIX times higher than that of Ft Lauderdale's International hall of fame pool. unless you are local, so not go to this pool. read more

Wanna get balled up ? Slide at 6pm, plenty of games getting run. Just dont play with a nikka named anfernee, he fouls the shit outta you. First 2 courts are for good players dont call downs if your cheeks. Middle courts are chill, occasionally get a good game. Courts by the grass, dont bother. Unless you wanna spark up. Good spot. Another tip, everything is a foul unless you call it. Dont even think of calling a travel, it will lead to a 10 minute argument. Enjoy and be ready to square up. read more

I couldn't get over how clean and well maintained this facility was! The water was super clean and the perfect temperature. They have a great little snack bar with drinks and ice cream. The kiddie pool area is great with water falling and spraying all around! The lap pool, although only a few lanes, did the job nicely. They offer water aerobics and swim lessons. Entrance is free to Miami Beach residents...lucky ducks!!! read more

5:30-8pm is prime time if you want to play pickup basketball. Waiting around for games is fairly quick considering there are 6 hoops to shoot on. If you're looking for some competitive basketball, I personally rate this location as a 7.3/10. The location is great and you get some crazy sunset backdrops while you play, which is pretty cool. The only downside is the lights turn off at 8:45, really wish it could close at least 9:30pm, maybe even 9pm. read more

This place open and close as they please. If there is a drop of rain in the forecast they just close it down. Bottom line, the facility is great, the people working here, especially the management, are lazy as f**k. Any excuse not to work, they'll take it. Rude I general and the typical local government run facility. No service-mind what. so. ever. Nice spot run by the worst people. Update. Look out for holiday hours. They will just be closed when the public most needs it. Kids Camps take it over. I live that kids get access to the pool and play/swim but WHY can't anybody else's share the pool during main hours in summer? Also note as government run places they will shut the pace down middday 12.30-1pm for maintenance. They can't do this on any other hours but pick the most inconvenient time for the people that wants to access the pool, including weekends. Unreal. read more

This place is really convenient, want to play basketball, soccer, football, swimming, just want the kids to hang out at the park? Well this is the spot. If you live close by is convenient. Also you can have parties (call Miami Beach parks to book that), they have a nice covered area for that with space for a bounce house. The location is always clean. The most interaction you have with staff is if you go to the pool. I believe that you need to proof in the area to go to the pool or for a discounted price. I take my kids here all the time for basketball and just go monkey around in the park and they love it. The maximum age for kids at the playground is 4-12... always with parent supervision. For adults, you can have a nice soccer game in the soccer field and a basketball game in the basketball courts. There are about 3-4 full courts. There is also a space area for football game. read more

I am very glad that my new neighborhood has a community pool. Even though I only went once, I had a great time. Is good to know that I have options. Besides the beach I can do some laps here or even take swimming lessons. read more

We attended a birthday party today and the park part was great! Then we headed over toward the pool area and my daughter started over by the "kiddie" area, then asked me if she could go into the pool and went into it for about 5 minutes, then I heard the "life guard" on duty told her "you need to get out" she came over to me and I asked her why did he say that. She did not know, so I asked him why and he said because she is too little, I asked him "what is too little" he just stated at me, so I then asked "why is she too little" he told me "that's a funny question you should ask God!! I said are you kidding me? He then asked can she swim, I said of course she can, she's known since she was 10 months old, I wouldn't just let my child go into a pool alone! He told me I have to go in with her (mind you there were around 4 or 5 other children in the exact area that she was going into. I asked why, I just told you she could swim? He AGAIN said she was too little, she has to be 8 years old. I told him then you're assuming that she is too young, nothing to do with little! How the hell could he know her age?? After losing my cool, I told her it'd be best to go back into the other pool area. Then a little boy kept antagonizing my daughter, pushing out of the way of the "steering wheel" type device that lets water out. I asked everyone whose child he was, then he hit her. I then went and asked the lifeguard if he would handle the obvious misbehavior that was happening since there was no apparent mother, his exact words were "I'm not a babysitter" . Talk about scumbag. I wrote this review in hopes that this place would higher with better standards. A place that welcomes a community with children and birthday parties should not have a rude old man that has zero respect for women and the safety of children. read more

Great facilities. The pool can get a little busy when they have classes. But it's free for residents. And it's Olympic so great for laps. The kid pool is nice, never used it, but I see a lot of people with their kids there. Field next to it is nice, they have classes. The basketball court gets pretty busy. But none of the people are residents, they drive from mainland miami so it's hard to get a court. read more

Pretty. But in the summer really stupid since they have sessions. I understand closing and cleaning jn between summer camps, and lap swimming. But general admission is 2 hours and a half, then they close to "clean" (there was nothing to clean at all, floors were clean). And then open half hour later for other 2 hours and a half! Really? You can't let people in for 6 hours straight and then clean? How dirty can it get in 2 hours and a half? I'm a new resident and I was told that I need to have a peice of mail that says I'm a resident to get in. This worked fine for a couple of days and then suddenly they told me that wasn't the case and I needed a new bill. Well, it's 2016 and I pay all of my bills online. I don't understand why all of a sudden the mail from the US post office that says I changed my address is not good enough and the woman at the desk just chooses to make up a date where that doesn't work anymore. It takes a few weeks to get a new drivers license in the mail during the holidays. Very rude. It's just some woman trying to give us a hard time for no reason. read more

We come here all the time, the park has a big baskball court with 6 whoops, a soccer field, kids playground, 1 shelter(can be rented out) qand a public pool. The playground is ok, does not have any swings. The pool is great, open early so adults can have private swim time but has a kids water playground. You do need an ID showing your a Miami beach resident or get a Miami beach resident card or if your non-resident its $10. You can rent the soccer field, pavilion and pool for parties too. read more

If i could leave a 0 Star review i would. Today my parents went to sign up my son for swimming lessons around 5:30, they were told to register online and come back to finalize they lessons. When i met them to go back at 6:30, we were greeted at the window with no one there. After 5 min of knocking and talking through the window and walking around to open the door we were greeted by an employee hiding in the back who stated i am on break!!! We asked till when she stated till 7, we asked when do you close she said 7!! No attempt to even care for us or help us as today was the last day to register for swim lessons. I am in awe of the disrespect and costumer service. She refused to give me her name or to my mother and father. My poor son was so excited to swim. All i want to say is at this point i will be writing the city manager and mayor about this lack of costumer service even for a CHILD SWIMMING LESSON! If you don't like you job then maybe find one that you do. This is not the first bad encounter i have had at this park or pool. Sad that We own homes and apartments in Miami Beach and get treated like this when we were there at 6:35 and they close at 7.
