I live in Seattle and have no idea what the current studio looks like. Tuesday afternoon I left a voice mail wishing her the best in the new studio location and said I'd try to get another florists on line; I didn't even leave my name. I was not expecting to get a call back within a half hour. Phuong has caller ID and asked if she could help! She may not be able to accept more than a few new floral delivery orders while she is transitioning between locations. I am guessing that given her stellar customer service she would be reluctant to do so if orders would take a few days to process. She asked me to look at the pictures on Yelp and send an e-mail and price point. Given a color range, she picks what flowers look freshest and selects what is best for that day. She asked if a delivery on Friday would be OK. I said that would be great. Our email correspondence was answered promptly. I got a photo of what was delivered (an image showing both in the studio and on the counter of the medical facility) late afternoon Friday. I thought omakase was a new kind of flower, so I looked it up on Wikipedia. It is actually a Japanese phrase meaning, "I'll leave it to you". Phuong was the wedding planner and florist at my cousin's gorgeous wedding in Houston. And I was one of the bridesmaids in that wedding. But those little details are what sets an end product perfect and apart from other ones. She listened to my ideas and looked at my pictures for what I had in mind for the wedding. She helped me to gather my ideas and make it cohesive. I felt cared for when she wanted to know my wedding colors, what the wedding party was wearing, and what my dress looked like to design my bridal bouquet. At Mi Bella Rosa, you're paying top dollar for one of the best florists in town! At the same time, she is looking out for you in quantity, quality, and the look that you're going for with style. I think having flowers, for the sake of flowers is not enough. You'll have to really want the flowers to be at your wedding if you are considering Mi Bella Rosa. They are not just florists, they are floral designers. Hence the name, Mi Bella Rosa Designs. I've been waiting so very patiently to receive my wedding photos so that I can finally express how WONDERFUL of a job Phuong and her team did for my August wedding! Phuong was really the glue that held everything together. Not only did she show genuine excitement for my vision, but she executed such in a way I could never have done on my own. I wanted my day to feel modern with minimal use of florals (mainly due to budget) and Phuong managed to give me exactly that. Her pricing is beyond reasonable for what she does and her communication is perfectly on point. She always called or emailed to say she was running behind for any scheduling we had in place. The one mistake I made for my wedding was NOT hiring a day of coordinator. I ended up hiring Phuong and her team on to execute the design of my ceremony and reception as I didn't fully trust the hotel venue (nor did I think they were willing) to properly meet my expectations on my MASS amount of DIY decor. Phuong was more than happy to work with my personal decor and integrate greenery and florals that worked within my vision. When I had initially requested poppies for my arrangements, she wasn't able to meet my request due to a poor season for the blooms. However, on my wedding day she managed to somehow come through and incorporate poppies after all! Such a surprise! She also brought up design details that completely slipped my mind (ie would leaving the salt and pepper on the tables take away from the centerpieces). As someone in the design field, I am always aware of every little detail but as a bride, I was overwhelmed and a bit aloof. Phuong stepped in and really did what I needed in a design sense. I can't praise her enough for her floral work, but it was really her organization, planning and design sense that won me over. I could go on and on about how amazing she was. My wedding was six months ago and honestly she is the only person I have the desire or energy to write a review for because she exceeded my expectations beyond belief and I want to let other brides know just how wonderful she was to work with. It had truly been my dream to have Mibellarosa design the florals for our wedding. Phuong's work speaks for itself: it is truly art. Every wedding she does feels unique to the couple and ours was no exception. It was as if she had looked into my mind and saw exactly what my dream wedding looked like. The best advice I can give to brides is to trust your vendors: they are professionals and experts at what they do, and trusting Phuong and her team was so easy, I had no doubt that they would create something incredible. Starting with the smaller details: my bouquet, the bridesmaids' bouquets and the boutonnieres. All were phenomenal - my bouquet felt so true to me, it was unbelievable. The bridesmaids all wore different dresses, and Phuong and her team created bouquets that worked with each dress to help tie together their looks into one cohesive vision. I have never really noticed boutonnieres at a wedding before, but the ones this team created were unbelievably beautiful, and like nothing I had ever seen before. Now for the star of the show: the reception. I teared up when I walked in and saw what this team had created. It felt like there were flowers everywhere: from a gorgeous statement installation at the entryway, down to the dinner tables, every bloom was perfection. We had wanted a garden party vibe - elevated but welcoming and inviting for our guests. Phuong and her team delivered on that and more. It felt curated specifically for us, and unique and true to our vision. I am positive that no one else could have created what her and her team did - it was perfection. I cannot tell you how many people commented to us during and after the wedding that the flowers were the best they had ever seen - and it was true.
