I was really in a bind. Unbeknownst to the customer service associate I had 3 deaths in my family this month and had forgotten my only God daughters big 1 8 birthday was coming up. I got on the phone and called everyone in Katy. This sweet lady accepted my order and did an amazing arrangement for sweet girl. My God Daughter face timed me with the biggest smile on her face. The designers here are awesome at what they do and have a lot of years of combined experience. They have created some absolute masterpieces for me! This interaction sums up my experience with these folks: Myself :do you have the orchid I requested over the phone?" Two people behind the counter: "No we lost that message. Go look at the ones we have." Myself: "do you have any that haven't bloomed?" Sales lady "why on earth would you want that? Myself, caught off guard: "excuse me"?" Sales lady:"really bizarre request, why would you want that?" Myself: ...so my girlfriend can watch them open over the week." Saleslady: do you know an orchid works, that would be exhausting. Nobody does that." And I left. Because the customer is always right and it's none of their business why I wanted the flowers in that manner, and it certainly didn't matter as they already were biased against them. Also of note: the layout of the store looks like a poor man's hoarder - filled with junk and cheap looking merchandise. I would have thought their poor attitude would have been enough to fill it but they took it to the next level. read more

This florist was contracted out by ftd.com to fill an order that was being sent to me by someone else to work for Valentine's day. When they did not arrive that day or the day after, I told the sender to just cancel the order since it is a little strange to receive Vday flowers on Feb. 16th! They did arrive on Feb. 16th and I thought that was the end of it. Not quite.... Not only did it arrive two days after Valentine's day but the flower shop found a direct line to my office and left me a voicemail 4 days later asking for their flowers back because someone had called to complain about the order not arriving on Vday and wanting to cancel the order and that they wanted to send a driver to my work to pick up the flowers if they were still here. Appalled by the voicemail, I ignored it and continued about my workday. A few hours later, I am paged that someone is there to see me and has asked for my name specifically and has been waiting for me for 30 min. When I go to greet the person, I do not recognize them and ask what they are there to see me for. The older looking Asian man tells me that he has come to pick up my flowers and wants to know if I still have them in my office. I am shocked and in total dismay that as a recipient of flowers, I am being harassed at work to get them back! The man was not wanting to leave without his flowers but I finally turned around and walked away and he left. I immediately call the flower shop and speak to the manager, Cindy, and ask her what their problem is. She acted like she didn't know that someone had come to pick up the flowers and blamed the whole thing on the owners of which she said was the Asian man that came to my job to pick them up. I explained to her that the flowers were already dead and asked if they really wanted their dead flowers back that bad. She told me that they really just want the vase back! more and more pathetic as I kept hearing her stick her foot in her mouth. She admitted to me that the date the sender put in the order, their printer wasn't working and that there were STILL people waiting for their Vday flowers! This was on Feb 20th!! Needless to say, I was harassed at work and left with a sour taste in my mouth from all the time wasted and inconvenience all because someone sent ME flowers! Ridiculous! read more

I ordered flowers through FTD.com and this flower shop was contracted to do the order and the flowers were never received. When I called FTD to inquire they said they could refund my money or still have the flowers sent with an apology. I said I want all three (that's customer service right?). Unfortunately they would not refund and still send so I cancelled the order. I will never use FTD again and this flower shop is to blame. read more

Run...as fast you can away from this horrible place..... Ordered beautiful sympathy bouquet to be delivered to a co worker at her home.Ordering and delivery were smooth until I viewed them...it honestly look like left over flowers (more on that in a minute) shoved in a 2 dollar vase, not even close to the picture. To be honest I was embarrassed, at more then a 100 including delivery I expected better then what looked liked clearence flowers at kroger.I went back in the same day and spoke with the woman who assited me the day before and she agreed it was indeed not remotely what I ordered. And quickly arranged for a new one to be delivered, and apologized. Next day the new one arrived and once again the same as before but slightly better......And then the driver promptly REQUESTED TO BE GIVEN BACK THE OLD FLOWERS!!!! Can you believe it? Asking a grieving family for the flowers back because the shop screwed up.And justified this by saying they called the recipient ahead and told them they would need the old flowers back!!!!!.I was told this by the owner when I returned again the same day.No words can express my disappointment, embarrassment and frustration. In the future this will be a business I will NEVER recommend and will share it with my family, friends and coworkers. .in the Katy area.I am giving them one star because they did deliver actual flowers. read more

Came here on reviews from yelp. Gotta admit am disappointed with the value for money. Ordering off the website was quite good. Ordered the happy face birthday arrangement deluxe, although what came seemed to be the basic arrangement, not sure what the difference is apart from more money!!!!! Balloons and chocolates were expensive On the positive side they did deliver before the time i requested. Definitely worth questioning what i am getting before ordering from here again read more

We popped into this shop a few days after Mother's Day to get a few thank you bouquets. While the store was picked over from the holiday they had plenty of loose flowers in the cooler and were able to put something together for us quickly. read more

I ordered flowers for Valentines Day and they were not delivered. So $180 was a big waste an unhappy wife. I was informed that I should have had them delivered a day earlier. I'm waiting for a manager to call me back. I would not recommend them unless you want to be disappointed. read more

Okay I have used these florist twice now with widely different results. The first time was in January 2014 and I ordered a dozen roses for my wife's birthday. When they did not arrive at the specified time frame, on her birthday, I called the shop back. They said they thought the order was supposed to be delivered on the following day. I told them NO that I had gone into great detail about it being her birthday and needed them on the 8th. The finally arrived very late in the afternoon BUT they looked gorgeous. It was the most beautiful arrangement I have seen at that price. I decided right then to use them again for Valentine's Day this year. I ordered the flowers a week early. During the ordering process the lady said they would be delivered Valentines Day Thursday the 14th, I said isn't it on Friday? She checked her calender and told me I was right. She then said "I wonder how many orders I have messed up for that date?" That should have been my first clue. I went into great detail about what greenery I wanted and what roses. I even picked out two Mylar balloons to go with the arrangements and had the woman attach each balloon to each order to keep it straight. I had placed two separate orders. The flowers did arrive on schedule but only one with the balloons I had paid for and the arrangements were pathetic. NOTHING like the arrangement I got in January and at a higher price. Just one day latter the roses are already dying. The space greenery is sad the arrangement, if you can call it that, is pathetic. I could have gone to HEB and bought better roses and greenery and put together a better arrangement, as my disappointed wife pointed out I had done in the past. Someone needs to tell them wiring a dying bloom will keep it upright but not keep it from being dead and ugly. Maybe they are okay to use on occasions that are not so busy BUT I will stay away from them on days like Valentine's and Mother's Day. read more

I bought a dozen long stem red roses for Valentines. My girlfriend is a teacher and when she went to the front office to get them, she was so astonished at how opulent they were! She said hers were the biggest and most beautiful in the group of bouquets waiting for the teachers to pick up. I didn't read reviews before ordering or I would have been a little spooked at the mixed reviews. When I order flowers outside my area, I call a local florist directly -- no FTD etc. I spoke to a lovely lady and told her I wanted more flowers rather than a pretty vase and she agreed. I told her to use what she had that was fresh in her cooler rather than specify. I wanted delivery today and my friend got her delivery in an HOUR. She sent me a photo and they were quite lovely, a mix of inexpensive (carnations) and more expensive (roses, lilies). All in all, it was great for about $60 delivered. Maybe there are new owners or managers since 2012/13. read more

The arrangement was considerably smaller than specified on the website. When I called to express my dissatisfaction I was told I got what I paid for. I was embarassed and disappointed with what was delivered, especially for what I paid for... I called to complain and got nothing - no apology, no offer to make it right.
