KM Resorts is amazing. I just want to say the Ponderosa Falls location in Cheney WA is beautiful. Nice gated community. Friendly staff, they check in on you. The facilities are well kept and the park is quiet and clean! My daughters and I stayed in cabin 107 and it is just so dang cute. It has everything you need to cook, and a TV with a DVD player. Nice cute bathroom. You bring your own bedding and towels which I prefer! So that's super easy. Thank you KM Resorts. I will be referring many many people your way! My girls and I loved staying with you and we will definitely be back soon!

    The trees over our spot...#46.

We've stayed here twice now for one day only each time as we were heading through the area. Strange it is next to a housing area but the mature pine trees help make you forget the neighborhood is so close. The office does a lot of fun activities for their guests - from bingo and meals to karaoke and beer tasting. Most of the spots are fine but there are a few that are not level. We had one that was very unlevel but when we called the office they gave us a new spot. The pool and bathrooms looked nice and they had a clean laundry facilities and even a small gym with cardio equipment. I know they had a lot of areas for kids like putt putt golf and playgrounds but we didn't check those out as we didn't travel with little ones. Easy on/off the freeway so great location with a large gas station and restaurant and snack center nearby. Chad in the office, was a great help!

Learned a lot about the area on this trip. Just outside of Spokane, but very easy to get downtown.

This is the first time we used this resort it is quiet and not far off 1- 90. The park is in need of upgrade.

Very cute and campy. Our fellow campers were very helpful. Lots to do. And I love the seclusion.

Wow!! We had an incredible Mother's Day weekend camping at spot number 5 at Ruby's RV Resort. This…read moreplace is a hidden gem twenty minutes from Spokane, situated on a beautiful lake surrounded by big shady willow trees. The campground is spotless, the bathrooms were clean, and trash is promptly collected each morning. We saw fresh water otters, turtles, and lot of fish! Our girls loved riding their bikes all around the property and met lots of new friends. We were not sure what to expect because we read this is under new ownership. But, we quickly saw the hard work and efforts the manager is pouring into this place. We met Hong and he shared with us the best spots to fish and offered free wood for our fire. We enjoyed chatting with Hong each morning! We will definitely return soon. We hope to land an annual spot once they complete their renovations. We cannot wait until we come back this summer to enjoy this stunning campground! A++++++ Thank you, Hong!

The entire lake shore was littered in rundown boats, kayaks, jet skis, buoys and other debris. And I do mean covered, I felt like I was looking at a post apocalyptic resort scene. Of the 12 guests camping while we were there, it was incredibly obvious that 9 were living long term in the campsites, resulting in a trashy rundown atmosphere, as well as the uncomfortable feeling you were encroaching on someone's home, rather than a mutual campsite. The owner was basically MIA and the person who I suspect is managing the property drove around the lot constantly but didn't offer much help or direction. It was obvious that they had recently renovated the public bathrooms, which included showers but when we paid four dollars for a hot shower (as advertised), there was only ice cold water. The general impression and feeling was unsafe, uncomfortable, and incredibly disorganized. Our children kept saying they felt like they were on an episode of Trailer Park Boys, which pretty much sums up the experience.

Coeur d' Alene has been on my list as everyone says how great it is. So, a friend flew to visit over the summer and we spent 2 nights at the resort in their North Wing room. Then another friend came to visit this month, so we returned (with a much better experience). Arrival: Both visits were easy and we self parked. Be aware that there is an elevator from the parking garage to the resort and it is not the same one that will bring you to your room. Easy if you don't have a lot of stuff, but one visit I brought my dog and I could have used a luggage cart. So unload up front and then go park. Check in: Very quick. No wait. On the 2nd stay we were allowed to check in early which was nice. Rooms: North Wing- yikes. It does say on the site it is for the "value minded traveler." It shows. Summer is expensive there and since we were going to be outside the majority of the time it wasn't horrible. However, the room is much like a motel with the window facing a walkway. Ours was right next to the elevator. ugh. The inside was just okay. As others have mentioned, it could use updating. My second stay we stayed in the Lake Tower Room with double beds and fireplace and balcony. It was lovely. Nice room, beds comfortable, but the best was the view. Housekeeping: Unfortunately, both stays no one came to service the room. The Lake Tower even had a button to push when you want it serviced. We were out of the room by late morning and had the button turned on. Oh well. When I called, they did offer to service the room but we were tired and wanted to relax. One minor thing is that there is quite the push for tipping. I believe it came in an email and text. Just thought it was tacky. I've never seen that done before. Amenities: Visited the outdoor Blu pool during the summer. It was busy. My friend and I found an area that was "adults only" (not near the pool) and enjoyed the lake more than the kids in the pool crowd. Restaurants: Dined at Beverly's and Dockside. I will write separate reviews for them. All positive and will be back. The pre fixe dinner (early bird) was a great deal at Beverly's! ***Only policy I would suggest a change on is their charge for pet fee. It's one of the highest I've paid (and I've stayed at 5 star resorts) There is a DAILY $75 fee (someone said they cap at $150). I understand a fee is necessary, but I think that is a bit over the top. Our pup is crated (and prefers it) so does not require that deep level of clean other dogs might need. It might be better to have a standard reasonable fee and then charge the owner if the animal's stay requires additional cleaning.
