This campground is on a main road but is exquisitely clean. All the facilities were well cared for and appeared to be brand new. On this trip a needed to find a local dumpsite and was happy to find this campground. Since I have family in the area I will be coming back.

Horseshoe Pit. Nicest that I have seen at an RV Park.

To begin, we have been Trailer camping for 25 years and have stayed at about 100 different RV parks across the Western US. So I know what I am talking about. Stayed at the North Spokane RV Park from July 1st to July 7th. The RV Park is VERY clean and overall pretty quiet. Was a bit confused because when you sign in, I remember signing a form stating that I will not be a Full Timer at the RV Park, but there are obviously Full Timers staying there. Saw several units that were "dug in" for a while. Some leaking oil spots on the concrete and some units with lumber and materials stacked under or around the trailer. Pretty obvious that these were not vacationers for a week or two visit. But, even with that, the spaces still all looked overall pretty good. It was not a gross eyesore like we have all seen at other places. All of the spots are pretty roomy with more than ample space for multiple slides with plenty of room to walk around and setup chairs. Utilities were a bit questionable. I hooked up to 50A with my 5th wheel, but my A/C would not always work. I have my doubts about the Electrical. They stated that it comes with cable, but got nothing off the cable when plugged in, so we used the antenna on my 5th Wheel. Not a really big deal for us. We probably could have checked on these issues, but I did not see it as a big deal, so we opted not to complain and check it out with Maintenance. Overall, a nice clean RV park. Lawns are well kept and no trash thrown around. Pool looked nice and horseshoe pit looked really nice too. One of the better pits I have seen at an RV park. Very convenient to the Starbucks and Franks Diner right across the street. Only 2-3 minutes to the Costco just north of the park too. And as a bonus, if you happen to have RV problems and need parts, there is an RV dealership and parts house right around the corner. We will definitely stay here when we visit Spokane again.

Upon check in I was greeted by a very professional and friendly staff. The park is meticulously taken care of and the spaces are level and every space has a nice grassy area and a Punic table and full hookups including a large selection of cable channels and free WiFi. A secure fenced dog area. A fun kids play ground right next to the pool. I actually enjoyed the large spaces and convenient location. A sincere thank you to the entire staff at North Spokane RV Park. We had a great stay. Have a Blessed Day !!!

Site D9 butts up to chain link fence with barbed wire. Really $60 a night?

If you do not like being next to the freeway, this campground is not for you. It did not bother us. We also take advantage of their half off rates during September. Thank you Wolf Lodge for that. Next, the campground has a lot of activities which we were not able to take advantage of. We were visiting friends in CDA and spent most of our time with them. I wish we had time borrow a canoe, hike and use the sauna. We had site number 12 a pull through with full hook ups. It is an end unit and we enjoyed it. The campsites in the center row have you facing the backside of another camper and it's hook ups. There are pull thrus, back in sites, tent sites, and adorable log cabins for rent. All sites come with a picnic table. There is a lot of shade. We felt very safe and even left our bicycles outside of our RV overnight.

If anyone's looking for a…read morenice, clean and quiet campground right off the main road of highway 395...I highly recommend coming here! I found Dragoon Creek through my trusty little camping app called CAMPENDIUM. I also absolutely recommend for those hikers, campers and adventurers who enjoy getting outdoors and pitching their tents while exploring the beautiful parks in the Pacific Northwest....then Campendium is simply the best app on your phone to find campgrounds. Dragoon Creek is located 18 miles north of downtown Spokane, Washington. This was the perfect stopping place for me as I was ultimately heading 250 miles northwest towards North Cascades National Park to explore over there for a few days. I had read on Campendium that it was free to camp at Dragoon Creek for the night as long as you had a Washington Discover Pass. I had no clue what a Washington Discover Pass was and I didn't even know how to find one. When I finally arrived here the Camp Host greeted me by the front gate. He told me I could pick up this Discover Pass at the local Chevron gas station about 5 miles down the road in the town of Deer Park. This was not a problem for me. When I arrived at Chevron, they had plenty of passes. It was $12 to buy a pass for the night. Though they mentioned that for an entire years worth....it was only $30 and this Washington Discover Pass was accepted at plenty of campgrounds located all over Washington state. The pass was especially handy when I visited Olympic National Park with a variety campgrounds to tent around there. So, I happily paid the $30 and while I was at Chevron I picked up a few snacks for the evening. Returning to Dragoon Creek...there were 23 campsites to choose from. The Camp Host told me to pick an unoccupied spot and I was good to go! I think for me...best of all...the campground was set right within the forest with lots of space between campsites. There were picnic tables and fire pits for barbecuing. Summing it all up...Dragoon Creek exuded the absolute PERFECT AMBIANCE AND SETTING for taking it easy and relaxing in the woods. I couldn't have picked a better place. Thank you Campendium, lol! I set up my tent on a relatively healthy patch of grass (not on hard dirt) that was more than suitable and comfortable for sleeping at night. The surroundings were so quaint and pleasant for camping...I gladly snapped some pictures to remember this place. In all, I was just very shocked that I visited here on a random Tuesday over the summertime in the month of August and Dragoon Creek was empty! More than half the campsites were not even filled. I'm surprised by this because I felt the conditions here were ideal. The Camp Host did mention that over weekends, they get much busier. One big point also, I had cell phone reception...which I much appreciated. And...there was a sign saying the gates to Dragoon Creek closed from 9pm - 7am...so you certainly don't get any late night stragglers that are loud and noisy while you're already settled and trying to enjoy the evening. There were porter potties for bathroom use...but they were some of the most well maintained I have seen over my travels. I can't say enough good things about Dragoon Creek. They even had a little walkway path to a stream that I found quite refreshing. If you're in this Spokane area...come to Dragoon Creek Campground. What a hidden gem and I happily give 5 stars.
