Visited to Miccosukee Casino and Resort this past weekend. Plenty of parking and the building from outside looks nice but inside this casino is very old school and retro. Casino is open 24/7. The crowd here are mostly locals. This casino is definitely not as polished or hip as Coconut Creek Casino or The Hard Rock. They have a huge Bingo Hall. Be sure to check the Bingo schedule and hours. Overall very Miami local energy and not as upscale or modern. If you prefer small, lay back and relax casino then this is your place. read more

Always try to stop in at Miccosukee when in the area for some luck and fun times. Old school spot as I've only tried the casino and not really stayed or dined at the casino and resort. I've also stopped in once during their Indian heritage celebration and events. Miccosukee always tend to have an event going on which is great. As the only casino in the area located out west by Chrome Ave and Tamiami Street, smaller compared to the likes of the Hardrock Casino but can hold its own. The casino offers smoothing and non smoking areas, high limit room, and poker and even bingo rooms. The casino floor environment seem to be more on the low energy side. Not much excitement going on to get you excited. Maybe it's my bad luck streak but the slots don't seem to pay out as much Overall, convenient to enjoy in the area but more of an old school vibe and not much excitement to be a great attraction or must go destination. read more

Went here not for the hotel or casino, but for a small convention, taking place in the upstairs convention hall. Every staff member I interacted with when I came in were friendly and helpful, and the convention space itself was very well kept, I would certainly weigh events taking place here positively if there were any conventions doing so in the future. The casino floor seemed well taken care of, they had a few little food shops scattered around the first floor casino area and they were all staffed with nice people, the bingo room/area I passed through on the way to one of the dining areas was also well organized. read more

We found seating soon after arriving and the server was also nice. We only ordered Corona and they came in a bucket super cold. The vibe of the place was great. Everyone was dancing with each other and even the people walking by danced for a song as well and then left. This is a great place to come to dance the night away with some live entertainment. read more

Basically your win or loss is decided before you push the button. They are electronic scratch-off tickets. My main complaint about this casino is how quiet it was. Instead of the bells and whistles and jackpots of a normal casino, the volume was turned very low, and there were no jackpot bells ringing. It didn't have a festive mood at all. Underwhelming. We stayed one night as a waypoint between Key Largo and Miami Airport, planning to drop off my Mom the following day. Check in was lukewarm but efficient. Got a room close to an elevator which was helpful. The room was recently renovated and very clean. Nice little refrigerator and some free TV channels. Going to wander the casino and see what there was to do, the only gaming available (aside from bingo and a poker room) was loud and confusing video games. Lost about $150 in less than 15 minutes so became disinterested in that. No table games available. No craps. No black Jack. No roulette. No sports-book. No horse racing. Upon further exploration, no shops, very few artifacts of the Indian culture and not labeled. No history of the property, which would have been interesting. No spa, no pool or hot tub area. Very scant areas to even sit and people watch. It was Memorial Day Monday so I understand them not having live entertainment, but a band or solo act would have been a plus. The casino was very busy and I'm sure it wouldn't bankrupt them to have some entertainment. We would have spent more time and money at the bar if there was someone playing. We got bored and went back to the room and watched TV. The breakfast included in the price was a continental setup that lacked flavor and was rather stale and dry. Unless you really dig video game gambling, there are much less expensive options near MIA that have better amenities. read more

I rarely leave reviews but my experience at Miccosukee Casino in Miami was frustrating enough that I felt it was important to share, especially for poker players considering this place. I played at their 1/3 poker table, which often theres only table running, so there's no real option to move to a different table if things get uncomfortable. From the moment I sat down, I felt like an outsider. A large group of players were clearly regulars and speaking loudly in Spanish about their hands, giving advice, and even telling each other not to raise or not to call certain players. It was blatant collusion that completely ruins the integrity of the game. To make matters worse, when the dealer who didn't speak Spanish politely told the table multiple times to speak English only (as per poker etiquette and fairness), the group ignored him, mocked him, and didn't really tip. They were flat-out rude to him for trying to keep the game fair. What's more disturbing is that the other two dealers during my session seemed to not only allow this behavior but actively participated in it. They laughed with the regulars, chatted in Spanish, and even gave fist bumps at the table. It felt extremely biased, unprofessional, and left me, someone who doesn't speak Spanish, at a clear disadvantage. There was no effort to create a fair, welcoming, or inclusive environment. The vibe here felt less like a professional casino and more like a tight-knit clique where if you're not "in" you're invisible. I don't throw the term racism around lightly, but the treatment I observed toward both the one fair dealer and toward players who didn't speak Spanish made me incredibly uncomfortable. If you're looking to play in a fair, professional, and inclusive environment, do yourself a favor and go to Magic City or another nearby casino. I've had much better experiences elsewhere in Miami. This is Bingo Hall with slot machines and a couple of poker tables. No table games, which is a big turn-off. No blackjack, so beware if you are headed there for true casino atmosphere. The included breakfast was typical of any Motel 6, however, very small space and no place to sit. I asked if I could bring the plate to my room as there were no seats left and told "No, you can stand" The hotel room was ample but very overpriced! The Miccosukee Indians are an offshoot of the Seminole Indians, who own all of the other Indian Casinos in the state of Florida. Go, 'Noles! The difference? There is no state gambling compact. Thus, these are class 2 slots (not Las Vegas style). If you look at the photos, you can see they are essentially video bingo. The Poker room is spacious and well-lit. The chairs are comfortable and the dealers polite, professional, knowledgeable and helpful to the novice. What you need to know is that the drinks are NOT comped--a six oz., yes, six oz. Drink is $4.00 and a small coffee is $6! Between that and the 9 dollars per hand fee they rake in, you have to get extremely lucky to walk away a long-term winner. The atmosphere exuded the doldrums and was severely lacking in the intumescence of excitement accompanying a big winner in a den of ill repute such as this. You should also know that no one except the employees speaks English ( required by Florida Law in all Florida poker rooms), as Spanish seemed to rule the night. Who doesn't love coming up on a random casino in the middle of nowhere! That's exactly what this is while this wasn't the best casino I've ever been to it was a fun little stop just because. What's keeping me from giving them a better review is the fact that they didn't have much of a game selection as it was just slots and not much of a variety of those, maybe I'm just spoiled from going to other awesome casinos over the years but either way let's go throw some money away! Where do I start, walking into this Casino felt like walking into a funeral home. I mean literally all I can see is straight slot machines nothing else in site! The "High slots and VIP" is literally more expensive slot machine,poker tables and bingo there is nothing special or luxurious about this VIP. This place was a total bust. For all the reasons Vegas has gone down as well. The shower drain was clogged and wouldn't empty. There was a spotlight directly outside our room and aimed at our window, which illuminated the room. The curtains were useless to stop the intense light. The restaurant - Las Brisa, had poor service charged $60 for a burrito and a salad. The bill came to us with 24% tip already added in! Niobe won any money throughout the afternoon and evening, with a casino full zombies spending their welfare until they were broke and angry. What a great find! Last I had been here was 1996, and I was underwhelmed then. Wow! The Miccosoukee have completely reinvented this. I went with a group of friends for Saturday night bingo. It was a little confusing as you need a player's card before registering for bingo. The sign up process was extremely quick for our group and every employee was pleasant and cheerful! Then we went to register for bingo and Joshua was great at explaining everything. We ended up getting bites to eat at the B-1 Grille at the end of the bingo hall. They had one gal taking orders and collecting payment and the line got really long. They need to improve this. Next time we will use online ordering. You place an order & receive a beeper and wait at another window where you get your food on a tray when you are beeped. At bingo, Andrew explained everything about electronic bingo, which was very different from traditional. The games took a little over 2 hours. Andrew checked on our group throughout which was super nice. Really with electronic bingo, you just sit there. At the end of the evening, our entire group, based on the friendliness of the employees here, that not only will we return, but we want to plan to stay overnight. So fun and welcoming! read more

Stayed 2 nights in their hotel. The stay wasn't the worst. Their continental breakfast is decent, the orange juice is fantastic. All the staff that we talked to during our stay were phenomenal. The beds weren't that comfy, after 2 nights my back was sore. The rooms were clean overall, however, the comforter on my bed had several dirty spots. It's time for the comforter to be cleaned. I also killed a baby cockroach in the bathroom that crawled out from a small hole near the leg of sink. Makes sense in the Everglades I guess. It wasn't the worst, it wasn't amazing. I would maybe come back for a night if I had to. We did not patronize the casino. read more

The slot machines are the worst I've seen in Florida. It reminds me of the slot machines that are illegally placed in bodegas in Miami's but a lot bigger. This place is like if skid row attempted to make a casino. The machines are all on the lowest possible pay out and the entire set up is just disgusting and primarily designed to rob old people of their check. We traveled from Arkansas found this nice casino so far all is well and i go to use my drink voucher and they inform after 2 days staying here already that the voucher is only good for the day you check in in which no one informed us of that. This review pertains to their event held this weekend sept 23-24, 2033. As a surprise I was taken to the event American Indian Day. I was excited to experience the culture and take photos of the traditional costumes and entertainers. My experience as soon as I entered to take the photos was horrible! The entertainers did not want their photos freely taken. I was told their culture does not permit it. I been to this event years ago and also attended real Seminole events in the heart of the Everglades and never had an issue - mind you pre Covid. Then, during their show, they acted and spoke about positivity, spirituality and it was all nonsense against what they truly showed me earlier. Mind you it was a separate entertainment company not Seminole Indians. The entertainers where a tribe from the north. Maybe they don't get our southern culture! Go at your own risk! We stayed here for one night on the way to the Keys. It was a little bit pricy for what we got, but at least the room was clean. Be prepared for a security deposit. The casino was just ok; I've seen a lot better. The smokers section is boxed in to one small room, and is over taken- you can't get to any machines because the smoke is so heavy and there are so many people in there. At least at hard rock, you can smoke in the open smokers section without suffocating. It's like a hot box smoke room. It's not smart to only put a handful of machines in a small room like that when most people enjoy smoking and drinking while gambling. To each their own. We decided not to gamble that night because it was unenjoyable, and stuck to the pool instead. The hot tub was nice and spacious, and the pool was a great place to swim a few laps. We usually go for their buffet breakfast or buffet dinner. Today the line for the dinner was insane, but it seems they finally hired a hostess to control the seating arrangements. The line to serve yourself was line as well, I just hated that no one respected the line, everyone just cut in line. The food is mediocre, the meats are a bit bland. They have a good amount of ingredients to make a good salad. The first floor of the casino has an excessively strong cigarette cloud, if you are not a smoker you will feel overwhelmed by the smell. On the second floor, they have an amazing ventilation system, you could actually breath, it seems they don't allow smoking on the second floor. There are several slot machines, and they also have a bingo room. Plenty of parking outside. read more

What is this? I was automatically assigned to a lesser room than the one that I originally wanted. A Executive King instead of a deluxe jacuzzi room. The second day staying here I called the front desk to have them clean the room and the guy assured me that they would and I guess he never told them or they chose not to clean the room. I came back to a dirty room and now I'm waiting forever for new linens and towels. After a long day, I just wanted to shower and jump in bed not have to make a bed. On the first day I went downstairs to what I think is their Max grab and go or something and it was a horrible experience and the guy barely had any inventory everything we asked for they did not have. There was 1 Cuban sandwich left but they gave it to another customer after saying they didn't have it. I waited a abnormally long wait time for a grilled cheese sandwich that she put as a second sandwich on the grill after like 20 to 30 minutes. The grill could hold multiple sandwiches but she did only one for a while lol I waited about an hr for a grilled cheese sandwich. I also don't understand why they have Hispanic people working in a Native American resort? It takes away from its authenticity. Why not have a more diverse staff... since they're so far away from being authentic. Why is the security mostly African American at the front? The set up seems discriminatory towards other ethnicities because it's predominantly Hispanic but the crew that they have working for them have terrible attitudes and do not efficiently do their work. Housekeeping doesn't know much English and it's just a headache and inconvenience. They need to invest in air filters and shampoo the carpets here often because I also woke up with a stuffy nose and allergies. On our last day staying there I placed the do not disturb sign on the door and housekeeping knocked and disturbed us anyway. This place is going downhill soon with their work ethic, discrimination and their choice of employees. The resort could be a very nice place and its sad that it only has two stars and I completely understand why that is so. Their customer service is terrible. It's ghetto. read more

This is going to be a review over a two and a half day stay. First it is very hard to call this place anytime during the day. Nobody answers the phone at the front desk or reservations until you at least call a dozen times. There is no Wi-Fi in the room and when call the front desk they say, "Oh we're getting somebody to work on that". We got no call back. There's no view of anything pleasant on either side of the hotel. My room was unexpectedly nice and clean. I called for a extra luggage rack from housekeeping and they promptly came up to my room for that I appreciate and gave a tip. It really should not have the word 'Resort' in the title. Nothing is open the game rooms the hotel air boat excursions a whole bunch of other s***. So far from what I see it's just a place where people can come and spend their disability checks , social security checks and alimony checks. They castrated all the slot machines. NO arm to pull just a button to tap. Just make sure you take your Beano before eating the fried food. My son said the French fries suck!" It's no smoking on the casino floor but they have a huge section behind glass walls, crazy. You need to smoke just inhale the second hand smoke. It's out of a Cheech and Chong movie. My room on the 4th floor had a faint scent of cigarette smoke all night. It was horrible to have to fall asleep knowing what I was breathing. Lastly, I played the 'Walking Dead'slot. Love it. FALSE ADVERTISING. I made my Booking online because I was coming down from Lakeland with a baby and a toddler. When I arrived at the hotel, with two very tired children I was told that no kids were allowed at the hotel yet when I made the Booking, I was never warned that the Miccosukee is an all- adults hotel. First thing is I was booked here by American Airlines. So, you know it was going to be cheap as they had to comp my room. Upon walking in I thought it looked nice but then i realized it was a cloud of smoke from every smoking. There is a security guard the moment you walk in and watches the people closely. I went here for New Years Eve Bingo (mom's idea ). I wasn't expecting much. For $55 you get a buffet dinner (served at 5pm... which was a little too early for me) Overall the bingo was well worth it. Must go jackpot of $25k and a few smaller jackpots and multiple prizes ranging from $250 of free pay to $1,250 cash and gift give aways. There were probably around 1500 people and over 25 games which means the odds are better than any lotto or slot machine. I wanted to end the new year right and booked a massage package before bingo. Again my hopes weren't high but I was pleasantly surprised. The spa was small but adequate. The Massage therapist was awesome and spa packages are reasonably priced. I'll definitely return for another massage. As a non-smoker the major downfall for me is the haze of cigarette smoke throughout the entire bingo hall and gaming area. Wish they had a better HEPA air filtration system. They do offer a smoke free gaming are for slots but don't have that option for bingo. The hotel room was smoke free which is always good. They are still in the process of renovating their hotel rooms. Although our room wasn't renovated it was clean and overall well kept. (Flat screen TV would've been nice but we didn't hang around the room anyway) For those who complain about security...yes they can be strict but they're there to protect the facility and guests. Yes they will search your bag. No they don't all smile and say hello. I was leaving the hotel with my suitcase and saw a friend on a slot machine I ran over to say hi, happy new year and bye w/ my suitcase in hand because I didnt want to leave it unattended...just as quickly as I said hi I was asked to leave the gaming floor "bags not allowed" etc etc...okay I get it.
