Sorry, this is for Spring of 2021. I just ran across the receipt and it reminded me to leave the review. We used Mice Hunters due to a bat issue we had in our attic. Our technicians were Jason, Cody, and Zach (according to the receipt). They were able to find the location that the e bats were getting in to the house, and put a device on so they would not be able to re-enter after leaving. They also sealed other spots of concern to help prevent future problems. And to top it off, their prices were much more reasonable than other quotes we received. read more

This is by far the best company hands down I've ever worked with. From their initial visit, mouse proofing, and coming back when my contractors left a huge hole in our wall for them to enter, they we're knowledgeable, kind, hardworking, and most importantly did exactly what they said they'd do. Overpriced for the quality and execution. ~150ft costs $3300, half upon signing and the other after work is completed. Jason, who did the house visit, was nice and friendly. He showed a lot of knowledge about houses and mouse-proofing. However I asked specifically about their contracting/carpentry ability to handle fixes if they find any problems or issues around the exterior because I have an old house, and they confidently answered yes, "we're those guys". When they came to mouse-proof, over a month later, they claimed that a section of the lower siding was deteriorated, and told me to get it repaired before they could mouse-proof. While only about 3 feet was badly deteriorated, they decided not to mouse proof over 30 feet of my house. I asked if they had any contractors or carpenters that could help and they said no and had no recommendations. They instead took $200 off of the total (I paid $3300, so this was only 6%) and said that if they came back to complete the work, I would have to pay the $200 back. I had a siding specialist come out and they repaired AND mouse proofed the damaged siding for $800. They also re-caulked the windows and roof lining that had peeled off due to the cheap materials used by Mice Hunters. While the workers seemed nice and confident, after seeing their work and materials I believe $3300 is insanely overpriced. The cheap materials used (the silicone caulking peeled off and the home mixed concrete is low quality and was not applied evenly), false claims that they would remove previous Great Stuff, reseal, and seal the chimney (none of which was done), I cannot recommend this company and will not use them again. read more

Can't believe I didn't review this last year. We had a mouse problem. We pay for quarterly pest control from Anderson. Unfortunately, they were not able to solve the issue. After a little research, we called T at Mice Hunters. T came out and solved our issue. A whole year came and went without issues. Just the other day, we caught a mouse. I called T up. He was out at our house within 2 days and found the problem. They give you a year guarantee plus an option to renew. T is as professional as it comes and is an expert at this. We moved into a new house and the previous owners were paying a local pest company quarterly for over 5 years without them ever remediating the issue. We bought a house that was infested with mice. I called Tee and his crew and they were very professional from start to finish. By the time we moved in they had trapped and closed off all areas of the house. We had one mouse after the initial period and Tee and his team came back out immediately to figure out where the mouse got in. They figured it out and since then we have been pest free. They have a 1 year warranty of no more mice which was what I really liked. Pay the extra money to do it right and stop the mice from coming in. Treating them monthly or quarterly with poison is only a band aid solution and does not solve the problem it only reduces the population and will not work long term. read more

We have used Mice Hunters and highly recommend them. About 7 years ago, we called them when we saw a mouse in our house probably trying to find a warm place out of the cold. Tee came and secured all openings from ourside. We had not experienced a problem since until recently. Tee came out and again addressed the problem. He's very knowledgeable and such a nice man. Be careful when they write your estimate. They charged me for MANY MORE feet of flashing than my house is long. They also did not do most of the work from original estimate and tried to cut corners (using caulk instead of flashing, as I paid for). They do not return phone calls. They did not use bait boxes in my kitchen, so the mice were dragging the poison packets into my living room for my two-year-old to find. They will NOT offer to extend their services once your yearly contract is up if you provide troublesome. read more

I am so glad I found this company! I have lived in my house for 8 years, and always have the occasional mouse or two in my garage and basement and/or crawlspace, but this year there were a few too many for my comfort. I could clearly see their tunnels in the insulation up at the top of my basement walls, but there was NO WAY I was going to investigate further and had no clue what to do to fix it, even if I did. I said to myself, "why can't there be a company that does more than just exterminate the mice, but would actually FIX the problem so I don't have to have them coming into my home in the first place." And then I found the Mice Hunters website. The owner, Tee, promptly returned my call, and was very knowledgeable about how the mice were most likely getting in, even without having seen my home. He came out to do an inspection, and pointed out so many possible entry points that I would never have even thought of on my own. I decided that this "mouse proofing" would be a good investment, since I intend to stay in my home a long, long time. They came this morning to do the work, and were on time and got right to work. After 3 extermination companies, we still had a ton of mice in our downstairs room. Every company would come out and put traps in. None of this worked. I read about mice hunters on the app next door and decided to give them a call. The owner was very nice and understanding and sent out Jason 2 days later to look at our issue. This is the ONLY company which had a solution. They put mesh on all our rooftop vents, caulked around our house, sealed openings under our deck. Tee was amazing and friendly with our mouse problem. He explained all of the spots where mice could get in, and walked me through the entire process of preventing mice from getting in the house. After the initial work to ensure mice stayed out of our home, he came back a couple weeks later and installed protection to our siding. In the places where he couldn't install the protection due to space issues, he installed wire mesh and bonding agent to ensure that these hard to reach spots would not be problem zones. Ever since that day, we have not had a single problem, and we have a year long renewable gaurantee on Tee's work. While I hope to never contact Tee again for obvious reasons, it's great knowing that he'll be back if we ever need service or maintenance on our protection. Call Tee if you have any problems with mice - you will be glad you did. Don't waste your time calling a general pest control company that will brush over a so/so solution. My entire experience with Tee was extremely positive from the initial discussion - to the estimate - to the finished work. Tee was very professional and more importantly very knowledgeable. During the estimate process, he was very thorough and guided me along to the work that would be done and answered every question we asked him. When the work was completed after two days - he walked me through every step that was completed, making me feel that the work was done at the highest level as if I had done the work myself. Kudos to Tee for a great job and solution to rid our home of the mice problem in our basement. We will now have the satisfaction to use our basement once again. read more

We have just purchased a new home in Crystal Lake, and after a month, we saw our first mouse. I can't say enough about Tee and the time he spent with us. First off, he was on time, and even provided a courtesy call beforehand to ensure that we knew that he was on his way. He obviously has serious experience in the industry and was able to quickly and accurately assess our problem. He talked us through the process of how mice would come in all the way to how he would eliminate them. Tee then took almost 20 minutes to write out an estimate and explain our options, from initial elimination of existing mice to prohibiting mice from entering going forward. We were his last appointment of the day, but you'd never know it. All of these services, explanations and eliminations were presented in a friendly, uber-professional manner. I had called other companies, but wished I hadn't wasted my time doing so: Tee and Mice Hunters, Inc., are the best of the best in every way. This company is a total rip off. I had a mouse problem in my townhouse basement and called this company in desperation. The owner, who I think calls himself T, came out and said that he could solve the problem, disinfect the basement and put poison down just in case. He said that he couldn't guarantee the work because I was an attached house and mice can come in from the neighbor's soffitts. He quoted me a price of $1500, of which I paid him half immediately and the other half when the work was done. Shortly after the work was completed, I went down the basement and there were three more dead mice on the floor. His workman came out to pick up the mice and determined that there was a small opening where a pipe entered into the house and he filled it. A few weeks later I went down the basement, and again there were more dead mice. T said that he had told me there was not a guarantee and I asked him if he would come pick up the dead mice and put down 200 more packs of poison so that at least the mice would die. He sent a workman out to put poison down and charged me $195. After he left I went down to the basement and there was a dead mouse right there and he didn't pick it up. When I called him to come back he said he didn't know how he missed it. He missed it because he didn't do anything while he was in the basement. I never got my 200 packs of poison either. He told me that if I wanted them to come out once a year with poison the charge would be $700 for the year. Later, a friend of mine recommended an exterminator to come look at the problem. He removed all of the insulation at the top of the walls and discovered about 15 small holes where mice could get in. He filled them in and I have had him come back three times during the last 9 months to check for mice and I am officially mice free. Nothing has eaten the bait, no signs of mice or droppings. This cost me $250. He told me that there were maybe 50 packets of poison down in the basement, that's how I know that Mice Hunters ripped me off. Do not use this company because they don't know what they're doing and if they do know what they're doing then they should be ashamed for the laxness of their workmen. I am going to see if they are a member of BBB and if they are I am going to start a conflict report. They are nothing more than thieves. read more
