However, I developed encapsulation pretty badly, even-though I had had saline implants before for 40 years. They thought the Mentor group who supplied the implants would warranty them, they didn't so Cool Springs had to eat it. Second surgery to replace went much, much worse. I have a stage 4 encapsulation which they say Mentor will not take care of. My sister works for a plastic surgeon in Atlanta. She deals with Mentor all the time on saline implants. With that group the reps always stand behind their product whether saline or silicone implants. Don't understand what is going on with the lying reps with Cool Springs Plastic Surgery but guess where I am going next.

I was disappointed with his lack of caring when I developed a serious infection from the procedure and ended up in the ER. He hung up on me and my daughter when we called for help before going in to the ER. The ER doctor called Burgdorf ( his friend from church) and I was sent home, after two urgent care nurses had sent us to the ER due to the severity of the infection. We returned to Burgdorfs office the next week where the nurses cut off the infected parts and treated the foul odor. Upon seeing the scarring after the procedure, Burgdorf said there was nothing he would do for it. He did not offer solutions.. I was embarrassed that I had paid him so much money only to look worse after the procedure. He also removed fat from my hips, which are now uneven, a minor thing in comparison. Ive stayed quiet about his treatment as I'm embarrassed about having the plastic surgery.
